When your vehicle is towed for illegal parking, you don't get to choose the towing company, leaving this review quite useless, However, I will leave the review anyway as a sense of comfort for others who, like me, have had the displeasure of dealing with these unprofessional con artists. My friend and I, two young women, entered the establishment. I handed my ID and explicitly stated from the get-go that my family owns the vehicle. I was then allowed to go into my car to retrieve my registration. The vehicle's registration and tags are up to date, but the physical copy of the newest registration was unfortunately not in my car. The worker who escorted me to my vehicle told me that it's okay, that I can bring the old registration and a new insurance card and it "should be fine". Great! He then went home for the day, leaving me to deal with his miserable colleague who spoke to me condescendingly and dismissively. He saw two young women in distress and used his inflated sense of "authority" to patronizingly tell us that I cannot have my vehicle unless one of the two individuals listed on the registration are present (one being a deceased family member and one being an 80 year old woman with dementia and a broken leg). He did not allow me to go back to check in my arm rest for the registration as I am not the owner and the vehicle could be stolen, to which I questioned whether I look like someone who'd steal, to which he replied, "yes, you do". Apparently, a 21 year old well-dressed girl is the archetype of someone who'd steal her family's car. Or, perhaps it was my Armenian last name and this was an instance of blatant racism. But I believe the most likely explanation is that some individuals are just extremely unhappy with themselves and the person who looks back at them in the mirror everyday, and sadly they take out their internal misery onto the rest of the world. As requested, my mother and grandmother showed up, and they forced my grandmother to walk with her broken leg into their office when she could have easily shown her ID from the comfort of her car. Even after that, they still would not release my car because of the "old registration" even though they know the tags are up to date. They were hoping to keep my vehicle for as long as possible in their tow yard to raise the fee. Once we called the police and told the incel and his colleague (the owner, I assume) that the police were called and that the registration was verified by RIGHTFUL law enforcement, these two sh*t themselves and, wow, a Christmas miracle! They released the car to us after charging an absurd amount. I see that the owner likes to condescendingly reply to all the other reviews here, which only tells me all the reviews are read. Rest assured there is no possible reply you can give me that will relieve you or your pathetic employee from your deep rooted misery and hatred of yourselves. read more

I got myself in a little bit of a pickle and my vehicle that I had just serviced and now after going on the freeway the vehicle decided to not work anymore. I pulled over to a side street in the neighborhood off the freeway and put my car in a safe spot. I called EX Towing to tow it to the transmission service center where I got my transmission rebuilt and they were able to do it the next day in the morning because it was too late in the afternoon. The guy on the phone was very helpful and scheduled me for a tow the next morning and the guy arrived promptly. He lifted up my vehicle and did the necessary tiedowns to tow the vehicle safely. The service was super friendly and you could tell the driver was experienced. My vehicle arrived safely to the transmission service center with no issues. They sent me a text message with a link to pay the bill online by credit card. If I need any more towing services in the future I would definitely not hesitate to call EZ Towing again because what they are providing is good service with a smile. Worst company!! I never write reviews but wow these people have no morals. I went out to dinner walked out and my friend's car was missing. Some sketchy guy came up to us and said oh are you looking for your car? It's towed and told me a number to call. (There were no visible signs). We Uber'ed to this run down spot and the guy charged us $600 to get the car back. He said I can Zelle him (uh no). We were only at dinner for an hour. The worst part is there was another girl there that just came to this country and had little to no money and they wouldn't give her discount or help her. Ez Towing might have been the worst experience I have ever had with anyone regarding automate services. For context, I had parked in a private parking lot to pickup food. I was in the restaurant for maybe 15 minutes. When I had picked up my food I came back to my vehicle to find that it's missing. So I called the tow truck company sign that was listed in the parking lot and I was told over the phone the initial fee for release would be $290. I had then had to walk to the tow company which was a 15 minute walk or a 2 minute drive only to be told my vehicle hasn't even been delivered yet. This didn't add up because I had walked to the impound lot which took around 20 minutes and the drive was only 2 minutes. I was then told at the desk that there would be another $80 fee because as soon as the vehicle touches the property it's considered storage. I told the man working that I was not going to pay this fee because the car wasn't even in the lot yet. He then told me to go outside and wait my for my car in the most unprofessional manner. So now I'm standing in the street waiting to see my car being towed in just to find out that the driver had another passenger in the vehicle. To me it seemed that they stopped to get a sweet treat while my vehicle was on their tow truck. Completely unprofessional! Then after my vehicle had reached the lot I wasn't able to release it because of its expired registration which is fair. What isn't fair is that upon reading the invoice I was secretly charged another $85 just because I had went into my car to retrieve the paperwork. Would've been nice if I was told this before doing so. My older brother had then came down to sort out the situation that this scam business is running. As soon as he was seen in the office they immediately told him to leave because "the office was closed" and yet my brother had asked politely to speak with him outside yet he refused and said to call the phone number. Seems very unprofessional as they claim they aren open 24 hours. After this we had left to come back the next day with temporary moving tags in order to get my car out of this scums property. My mother had then came to retrieve the vehicle and was charged $528 in total. Seems a bit over the top for a tow that was a 2 minute drive away and sat in the lot for less than 24 hours. We had just paid and left because at this point theres no point in arguing with business owners who have certain loopholes to protect the scam they are running. I would advise everyone to not trust this company because it is an absolute money grab. Im surprised this place is still running and hopefully it will be shut down. The employees are so rude and have no respect for young adults. I already know Morris will be responding to this review with whatever bs he has to say about this situation. Just know that everyone on social media knows about your scam operation and I would suggest switching fields to something that suits you. Next time if you're going to impound my car for $530 at least offer me the sweat treat you decided to go get with my car on the back of your tow. Genuinely just rude, uncommunicative, sleazy, cash grab human beings. Per usual it's men taking advantage of young women who think they don't know better. My car was taken and I called to try to get it shortly after, before my car had even made it to the lot. They told me it would be at the lot in 10 minutes, so I went to go pick it up. I've never had my car towed, so granted I did not know what I needed to get it. I show up, they told me I needed xyz to get it AFTER I get there. I did not have a physical copy of my registration, I showed my online copies and they said they needed a physical copy. That's fine, I completely understand. HOWEVER. NOBODY THERE communicated that there is an AFTER HOURS CHARGE; I THOUGHT THIS WAS OPEN 24 HOURS AS IT STATES ONLINE. WHY AREN'T YOUR HOURS STATED CLEARLY ONLINE? ITS NOT 24 HOURS, ONLY THE TOWING ITSELF IS 24 HOURS. OFFICE HOURS DIFFER AND ARE NOT CLEARLY AND EASILY STATED ONLINE. YOU CANNOT GO AFTER 5PM TO GET YOUR CAR OR IT WILL BE AN EXTRA $200. They told me the soonest I could come get it would be 11:00PM that night. I call and show up at 11:00. All of a sudden there are now 2 different bills. One charging the after hours and one not. I told him I didn't know about the after hours, he said I could wait for the person that helped me to come back. So I wait for over an hour. The next person shows up, I ask why there's new charges? Then, to top things off, it was nearly impossible to reach them on the telephone after they took my car for several days calling and calling. Dispatch was very rude and angry at me for asking the ETA of the tow truck after I was stuck for 5 hours and waited for them. He was supposed to deliver my car to the dealer at 9-11am so I can get another car instead my broken car, he ended up showing up only at 4 after the dealer was closed and got angry with me again for asking why are they so late. This company is a joke. The owner/manager is the scum of the earth and so are his employees. My car was towed there for a parking violation, which I accepted. However, from tow to lot, which was less than one hour, they charged me every fee imaginable. A one hour tow fee? It took the guy less than ten minutes to bring it to their lot. A storage fee? Like I said, my car was in their possession from tow to lot less than one hour. An after hours fee? They are open 24 hours! They have someone employed there and picking up calls. I'll begin by saying I'm newly handicapped. I was parked in a handicapped spot displaying my placard appropriately over the rear-view mirror in a designated spot. There was no available street parking where I was going, so I parked in the lot next door in a handicapped space. When I came back, I was surprised to see my car was in the process of being towed. The sign posted at the ENTRANCE of the parking lot (and not anywhere else on the premises reads: "Unauthorized vehicles parked in designated accessible spaces not displaying distinguishing placards or special license plates issued for persons with disabilities will be towed away at the owner's expense. Towed vehicles may be reclaimed at EZ Tow or by telephoning (818) 780-5588". My placard was displayed and I was NOT in the wrong here to park in this space. Regardless... it's a new thing for me. I had a horrific accident a year ago leaving me permanently disabled and I'm still learning the rules. So I asked for him to explain why I couldn't park there. He told me it's a private lot and I am in the wrong. Fine... I paid the $94.50 and was just trying to get home. His tone with me was rude and aggressive. I am a kind, respectful person, so I was definitely not poking the bear in any way. We got on with things. I recorded the scene and took photos. He said, "Well, if you're taking videos and photos, I may as well too!" And I said, "I'm not taking photos because of you. I'm taking it because I don't feel I'm in the wrong here. That's not on you." He tells me I'm free to go. I sat and waited for him to move his tow truck because, now I'm shaken up and worried about space - I didn't want to hit anything or his truck and it was a small lot. He then started to back in to my car in my direction! I put my arms up as to say "what are you doing?" and he got out of his truck and now is yelling at me, "I can't leave until you do, LET'S GO!" I explained, "I can't see through your truck, Sir and I can't see if I can get around you." He, still yelling says, "THERE'S NOBODY ELSE HERE! MOVE!" I roll my window up and carefully navigate around his large tow truck and the very small parking lot we are in. Once I got around him and to the exit of the lot, he starts clapping loudly and shouts in the most sarcastic manner possible, "YAAAAAAY!!! YOU DID IT!!!!". I put my car in park (now blocking the exit and got out of my vehicle and went over to his window. Mind you, all of this is being witnessed by my girlfriend who was listening to the entire thing over the phone. I asked him, "What is your problem?? Do you just get off on making fun of disabled people??" He looked me up and down and said, "Oh honey, you don't exactly LOOK disabled." Which by the way is an offense in itself. No one can question whether or not a disabled person is so. I replied to him and said "Do you want to see my injuries?!" "No... that's not necessary. Just move your damn car!" I looked at him and said, "Wow. You must really be an unhappy person." (all this anger for what?! I never did anything to provoke him). Now, he was really pissed and told me to fuck myself and called me a CUNT. The entire time of this, until the end, I handled myself very well. All I really wanted to know was the law on things so I didn't do the same thing twice, I didn't dispute paying him. And I was met with anger and verbal abuse through the entire incident. If you are a company that uses this tow truck company, PLEASE DON'T. If you care about others at all, don't let this "man" threaten any more people.
