I was quoted $20 over the phone and told to bring cash only and they told me at the store that it was $30 instead because they needed help holding her because she was scared. They also made two of her nails bleed because they cut the quick!!! Edit: I carried her to the car and spots of blood had appeared on my dress in my lap when I sat down with her. She has never bled before from a nail trim. I know she is anxious with nail trims but has never required a muzzle and other places either let me know and ask me to hold her or have someone else hold her which she does fine with. I was told the price AFTER they had started cutting her nails and was not told of the charge prior. Still would not recommend this place even with a free coupon and would rather go to Lush Spaw on Winchester where I have never had a problem with their wonderful groomers.

I booked this appointment one month in advance, confirmed it again a week ago, and even received an appointment reminder the day before. Despite all of that, I received a text message less than three hours before the appointment saying that the groomer was canceling because she is pregnant and only two weeks away from her due date. I completely understand that pregnancy and childbirth are unpredictable, and I sincerely wish her a safe and healthy delivery. However, I find it extremely frustrating that an appointment was scheduled with a client when she was already so close to her due date. At two weeks away, there is a very real possibility that plans may need to change at any time. If there was significant uncertainty about being able to work, I believe appointments during this period should not have been accepted in the first place--especially when clients have to make arrangements, take time off work, and plan their schedules around the appointment. Now I am left scrambling to find another groomer at the last minute. Anyone who has a dog knows how difficult this can be. Good groomers are often booked weeks, sometimes even a month, in advance, so finding a comparable replacement with only a few hours' notice is extremely difficult and stressful. What makes this even more disappointing is that I specifically chose this groomer because of the stellar Yelp reviews. I thought we were choosing a highly recommended groomer for our fur baby and were looking forward to finally trying the service. Unfortunately, we will never know whether she is actually a good groomer, because after this experience, we will not be using this business.

I've been bringing my pup Kiva here for about two and a…read morehalf years now, and I'm grateful for the care and attention they give to my now 13-year-old girl. She has some mobility challenges now and they have adapted to her needs, noting last time that she's having a harder time standing through the whole grooming appointment and needs the support of a belly band. Which is true. I've done all sorts of things to adapt to her hind quarters weakness and partial paralysis and I'm really thankful that her groomer has done what they could to help her, too, without my having to ask. As usual, she came out looking good and smelling good -- I love that they don't use heavy perfumes and whatever they do use just leaves a nice pleasant, fresh smell. She's silky soft after every groom, and she clearly feels good about her time there since she always comes out smiling and prancing when she's done (feeling fancy, I guess). Great business and great people, friendly and helpful, super glad I found them. It doesn't hurt that they're only five minutes away from home but I'd bring Kiva here even if we had to drive a bit!

The second time she split his skin behind his elbow joint and I had to carry him around for a week so he wouldn't get out the wound. She blamed it on my dog and parted ways. The staff was so friendly and nice, i immediately felt comfortable leaving poppy in their care. They got her all cleaned up in only a couple hours which is impressive for this wiggly girl. Her cut is even and fluffy and soft, they did a really great job. I love the way they shaped her face and they even gave her a cute little bow and bandana she smells amazing and looks even better, her hair, teeth, nails, all perfect! We will definitely be returning!
