She even gave Lily little snacks and took the time to help her feel safe and calm during the grooming process. She listened carefully to exactly how I wanted Lily groomed and did everything perfectly. Lily came out looking adorable, and it was exactly what I had asked for. I also appreciated that Angela never made me feel rushed. Since it's mobile grooming, I expected a quick handoff, but she was so kind and accommodating the entire time. At one point Lily was barking a little, and Angela had no problem letting me step into the van for a minute to reassure her. That meant a lot to me. She was incredibly understanding and patient, especially knowing Lily can be a little apprehensive at first. What really stood out was how much Angela talked about wanting to build trust and a relationship with both me and Lily over time so grooming becomes easier and more comfortable for her. That level of care is rare. Dependable, on time, compassionate, talented, and just genuinely kind. It honestly felt more like leaving Lily with a trusted friend than a groomer. I'm glad to hear that most people have had a good experience here (as I have had at other Lush Spaw…read morelocations in the past) but our first visit to the Santa Clara location was not a great experience and how it was handled was even worse... We took both our dogs in (German Shepherd and a schnauzer) for a bath service and de-shedding for my Shepherd, "Z". I let them know our schnauzer can be bitey with his feet/ears and to take whatever precautions necessary and that Z is pretty good, just very anxious. When I picked them up, the staff mentioned Z "freaked out" when they tried to use the blower and hurt his lip trying to bite the nozzle. I checked his face for some kind of abrasion or cut but didn't see anything. Very long story short, later that night we found he had broken one of his top canine teeth almost in half and the jagged edge was cutting his interior lip. A few rough days for Z (and us) waiting for vet appointments and $8,000.00 later, he had to get a root canal under anesthesia. I understand that accidents happen but also don't feel that Z was properly handled as they could have attempted a different method of drying/de-shedding him, rather than presumably continuing a method that stressed him out. When I first called the manager "Aqua" to bring this to her attention, she was very empathetic and professional but this manner did not continue. She said they would check the recording of his grooming to see what happened. We then played phone tag for a couple of days before she completely stopped answering my calls, texts, and voicemail attempts. This was the most disheartening part for me because even if they had responded saying everything looked fine on the recording, it still would have felt better than literally being ghosted by a "professional" business. We didn't get a call back from her until I called her from my partner's phone, whose number she didn't have. That pretty much confirmed she was purposely screening me. While speaking with my partner, Aqua sounded much more defensive while saying there was nothing concerning seen on the recording and admitting they did not complete the services paid, but ultimately gave my partner her email and the email the owner reviews to further discuss the issue. If nothing was seen on the recording, why wouldn't they have just responded with that in the first place? At least that's how it came across.. In the end, they refunded me Z's bath service (as requested) and didn't bother responding to our email. I really just wanted to advocate for my dog and hoped the management/owners would care that this happened, possibly due to their negligence, but was met with a different interaction. I truly hope they take this experience as an opportunity to further counsel their groomers on proper handling of anxious dogs. FYI - This isn't the first severe incident I've heard about occurring within their business since this happened but can't personally speak on the others.

Over the last year, my dog who was 18 and would get nervous at the groomers...was spoiled by their staff! They kept him up front in his carrier, so he didn't have to go into a kennel. For his last grooming, I didn't get a chance to change out his blanket, we were only in town for 1.5 days. They called to ask if they could wash his blanket before putting him back in his carrier! I was amazed and super thankful! Oh. And yes, he always came out super cute! I will be forever thankful to QPS for taking such wonderful care of my fur baby!

She was groomed from about 9:30-12:30 so she really took her time with her. Nova is a little skittish during grooming and it takes someone with experience and great patience to be able to succeed. ;) She was very sweet with Nova from the beginning and by the end Nova seemed to like her which is amazing on its own. The cost seemed very reasonable at around $150 after tip with the first time discount, so that was a bonus since I didn't know about the $15 off for first timers. Thank you Bri for giving Nova a fresh look for her birthday. :) She will be back!

I adopted my little girl at the beginning of…read morethe pandemic and she has allergies, anxiety, luxating patella in both legs and a litany of other health issues so she has had many visits to the vet. She hated going to the vet for nail trims so I had to sedate her and she would whine and cry on the drive there. She has fast growing extremely long black nails that need to be trimmed every 3 weeks and squirminess so she often got cut at the vet. I started to take her to Martha 2 years ago and I honestly think she loves her more than she loves me. I no longer need to sedate her and no more cuts! She also whines and cries on the short drive to Doggie Grooming Styles and though she is strapped in, will try to jump out of the car but now it is because she can't wait to get to Martha for her mani-pedi. We run from the car and she causes such an uproar when she gets in and all 22 pounds of her tries to tear down the gate to get to her true love. They have their own routine and route where after her nail trim she parades around the shop with Martha greeting each groomer to get her pats. I also want to give a shout out to Rhea who works the front of the shop. She is so sweet and friendly and my girl loves her too.

I tried many groomers, but they would just give up and not trim or buff his nails. If they did, he would come back bleeding and super freaked out. It became a huge stressor for both me and Rocky. I don't know how Brown does it but he's able to get Rocky's nails down to a healthy size and even trim his paw pads. Not only is Brown excellent with his furry client, he also has very strong customer service skills. He always makes sure to make time for a quick consultation before taking Rocky. He asks if there have been any changes, which have been super helpful as Rocky has developed back pain that comes and goes. He provides pictures, gives me a heads up before arriving, and let's me know when he's done. Overall, I would highly recommend Brown to anyone who is looking for a groomer !
