I decided to look up mobile groomers and I am so glad I did and found Aussie Pet Mobile of South Bay. I was able to book an appointment right away as requested and Jenny showed up on time and is very pleasant and grounded with animals. I could tell this after a few minutes speaking with her. She explained in detail the process of getting the skunk smell out and boy did she do a wonderful job! Jenny bathed Buddy three times and brushed out his coat and undercoat, clipped his nails (very gently), and he was beautifully groomed. A little after two hours, Buddy looked and smell amazing! He is really not into taking pictures and they do not do him justice. Take my word for it. This is the best grooming Buddy has received. We will use this company from here on out. When I called he was so nice over the phone I decided to book a grooming. She called in the morning to say we could bring her earlier if we wanted to since she had a cancellation, which worked out great for us. She was groomed from about 9:30-12:30 so she really took her time with her. Nova is a little skittish during grooming and it takes someone with experience and great patience to be able to succeed. ;) She was very sweet with Nova from the beginning and by the end Nova seemed to like her which is amazing on its own. The cost seemed very reasonable at around $150 after tip with the first time discount, so that was a bonus since I didn't know about the $15 off for first timers.
