He spent almost an hour with me and further explained to me in details about the make, country origin, the coating, material differences and indices. I finally chose the highest index for my glasses. The price of course is a bit more expensive than what I used to pay. Another pair of my glasses that I prepared to throw away due to the broken arm of the frame, he took a look and advised me to send it back to the Manufacturer to have it repaired. This is a great optical/optometry office. I used to go to the old owners, and was hesitant when they changed, but they really renovated a lot. Now its really an open concept and quite beautiful. The one big thing about this store is their cheap prices. They're actually incredible compared to other places Ive been to. My insurance covers me bi-yearly so Im relatively consistently, and normally am able to get one designer frame with lenses with my coverage, but at EyeWink I was actually able to get two (A tiffany frame and burberry frame WITH lenses, which was really the amazing part). The owner is super nice and willing to negotiate on price to help out. The nice part was they're a family business and are really genuine, no one rushed me but were always ready to help. Also they mentioned their eye doctor is actually an eye surgeon from another country but had changed to optometrist when coming to Canada, so he was more than qualified and it made me feel very good. All in all I'd say this place is REALLY cheap, with a lot of frames to chose from, and the medical part was quite thorough, which was great. read more

I saw the sign for cheap eye exam and was attracted by the overall package offering exam and glasses for $150 so decided to give it a try. I wasn't expecting much but was surprised by the quality of service of the staff at this shop. There was no pressure to choose expensive name brand frames or unnecessary options for lenses. The job was done very well, the quality of their product is in fact much better and way less than what i have been paying to some well known optical brands. My past three experiences of buying reasonably priced eye wear at name brand stores were quite unsatisfactory so I was wary of going to a smaller store. I am glad I did. They do seem to be interested in building a repeat business clientele. It is very rare to experience this kind of honest and stellar service now a days. read more

i needed an eye exam urgently because i lost my vision frame. i came across this shop and called to book. they took me right away and did my eye exam as well helped me in picking a frame. everything i went throught was super nice and efficient. firat the receptionist and the other lady were super nice. they talked to me as if they knew me for years. amazing people. the doctor was thorough, nice, explained everything, very smart and not in a rush. makes a patient feel like he has all the time for them. super super nice. i am glad i went there and i will be back. Right from the moment you enter, you will fall in love with the variety of collections that they have. I had such a difficult time choosing a frame, and they were so patient with me and allowed me to try on a thousand times until I chose the frame that I loved. It's so convenient visiting their store since they have an in-house optometrist. My visit to the optometrist was so pleasant and for one of the exams, I didn't want to have the eye drop that day and was told I can go back anytime free of charge to have the drop in and have the exam done. This family-run business is fantastic. I've been to many optical stores in the past, and there was always an issue - too long a wait, too high a price, or cranky sales people. Eye Wink is different. Staff members here are patient, informative, professional, and upbeat. They obviously enjoy helping their customers. Who knew that buying glasses could be fun? Lots of frames to choose, in all price ranges. They take the time to make sure you're happy with your choice. I came by looking for a new pair of glasses and was welcomed by some friendly smiles. They were a great help in finding a new pair of glasses that worked for me and within my price range. After choosing a new pair, they actually managed to have them fitted and put my prescription in after only an hour. Since I live nearby and needed a new pair quickly that was great. (I have a pretty common prescription, they just needed to cut it to fit the frame) Overall, they were really professional and a great help. I found this place after google searching for a reasonable price to have my eyes checked. This place had the cheapest price at $50 for an eye exam. Once I got there I was greeted by the receptionist. She was kind as well as the doctor. She is trained as an ophthalmologist so she was really insightful and knew what she was doing. After my appointment I looked through their large selection. They have large discounts and a large selection. They also have direct billing which was very convenient. After having went to several optometrist, I highly recommend this location. read more

The first thing I noticed was how clean and beautifully decorated the optical was. The staff was warm and friendly and not pushy at all. They let me take my time to look around. There were A LOT of options and I was surprised at how affordable the designer frames were! At 35% off there were some really great deals. They were offering great discounts on stuff that I've seen being sold for much higher prices elsewhere. As a bonus, the eye exam was only $59.99! And I was able to see the doctor super fast. I came here on the recommendation of my optometrist. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They helped me select a new pair of glasses that matched the style that I wanted and fit within my budget. Based on the eyewear that I saw and tried on, the store mainly carries brands owned by Luxottica. I was able to pick up the frames and prescription lenses in less than a week. The optician did a great job of adjusting and fitting the glasses. Overall, Ola Optical is a great place to buy a pair of glasses that look great and fit your budget.
