I have referred many people, and will continue to do so. Probably my favorite eye doctor and center I've ever worked with in 30+ years of wearing eye glasses. Highly recommended!

A student (who didn't seem trained or competent) read my eye pressure which took him several tries. Next, I saw the doctor who was very personable. After selecting frames, I was told that my TWO pair of glasses would be in within 10 working days/2 wks (which I thought was extensive - previous IL eye doctor delivered in a few days). I called a few times to check on them (never received a call) and was told that ONE pair was in. Asked the student which pair and he indicated that distance was in. Asked him when reading glasses would be in and was told within the next day or two. Picked up the "distance" glasses only to discover they were actually "reading". So I kept calling and could NOT get a definitive answer nor did anyone offer to check with the lab. Finally, I called and asked for the doctor (who was "with other patients" then never called me back until I called AGAIN and left ANOTHER message). He said he made a mistake with the order (yet never notified me of a delay) then the next day told me lab needed to reorder glass as it came in damage (I'm smelling a run around). Told him I wanted to cancel the back order and would never return to this provider. The next day all of a sudden, (he never mentioned my refund) and told me glasses would be in within a day or two. When they finally came in, NO ONE on either occasion sat with me to ensure glasses (which I paid $900+ for) fit correctly, I had to ask for a case both times and had to ask for an itemized bill (which I should have received before the order was placed). It would take a Philadelphia Lawyer to figure out the bill with all the ancillary charges on the bill. I will happily drive back to IL to my PROFESSIONAL and WELL-TRAINED optical office where they have their act together. WOULD NOT RECOMMENT!!!!

I went in and had my eye exam and that was fine, but it did take forever to see an eye doctor. I sat and waited a very long time. I was allotted so much money to get frames and lenses through work and I didn't realize the special ones that they had ordered from me. It was supposedly just temporary and eventually I could have regular lenses again. Once my motion sensor issues were somewhat solved. I bought a specialty pair of glasses because I wanted beautiful frames and I thought that these were glasses that I was going to keep forever. Well, not forever but you know until my prescription changed. Unfortunately, I didn't know that they would switch the frames out later I mean excuse me lenses. My lenses were blue but after they put the tint on them and put the anti-reflective glare it made the color lighter so I had to go back and get a higher Color on my lens. Again, I had to wait for a really long time so I think my main complaint would be how long I have to wait for everything. My regular eye doctor you may be waiting 10 or 15 minutes and then you're in the door.

One pair the lens need to be recut and the second pair the frame supposedly broke. Sounds like a change in vendors is needed or there's something more going on here.

Let me tell you about a situation that occurred. This…read morecomplaint is from the family!!!!! On April 27, 2023, our 93 yr. old grandmother along with her caretaker, came to this establishment for an appointment at 12pm. They were dropped off by a medical van transportation company (as she is in a wheelchair). Well, a situation occurred with the transportation company as there was a delay in picking them up. I got involved all the way from Georgia to see what the heck was going on. After family members made multiple calls to the transportation vendor (company that dispatch out), I actually spoke with the driver who transported her there and she was actually stuck in Illinois. Even though, a lie was told earlier to her daughter that it would be 45 minutes to a one hour (which they should have been picked up by 2-2:30pm); it was going to take her more than 2 hours to get back. I call the vendor to see if they had emergency back-up to pick up our grandmother and as with everything else, they didn't have another van that could come and get her as it would still take one to three hours if she was pulled from the current driver and placed with another company. So that left us with having to find someone else to come and sit with my grandmother as her caretaker got off at 3pm. However, what I didn't know is that this business also closed at 3pm. Now, what behooved me, as I made arrangements for some other family members to come and sit with our grandmother and one to take the caretaker to her car, this freaking business put our grandmother and her caretaker out of the establishment at 2:55pm because they promptly closed at 3pm. WHAT FREAKING BUSINESS YOU KNOW THAT WOULD DO THIS TO A DEFENSELESS 93-YEAR-OLD MOTHER, GRANDMOTHER, and GREAT-GRANDMOTHER??? Let me ask a rhetorical question: Dr. John Czaja, Dr. Katie Fesko, Lynette, April, and any other employees that were there, you mean to tell me that neither one of you all could have waited past 3pm, to ensure that our grandmother, who WAS supporting this business, was picked up safely? Whoever worked this pass Thursday, you all left them outside and walked to your car like you didn't have a care in this world. This is not over, and you will never, ever, do this to another person. I just wonder if it was a person that LOOKED like you would you have done this? Our family didn't appreciate how this situation occurred. As a person that has been in the customer service business for over 30 years NEVER in a million years would I have done this to someone supporting a business that I worked for. You all have left a bad, foul, taste in our mouths. Keep in mind that other people that made ride medical vans to your establishment that anything can happen, that the patient coming to see you has nothing to do with. However, as a business that's been serving the community as your bio states for 20 years, you absolutely didn't show compassion nor show a great relationship to our grandmother. This establishment owes our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother an apology for what was done. Keep in mind the golden rule: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you!!!!!!!
