    Worst eye center EVER!…read more I took my glasses to the CROWN POINT office for REPAIRS ONLY. They broke my glasses. They hid what they did. A month after they ruined my glasses if it wasn't for me stopping by the criown point office I wouldn't have known that they broke the bridge and scratched the lenses. They did not have the courtesy to call me and let me know that they had destroyed my glasses. I paid almost $800.00 for my glasses. Instead repairing my glasses they scratched the lenses and broke the bridge. Long story short. TWO months into the situation they called me one day saying that I can pick up my glasses all ruined and that I had to pay for the mistakes they did and repair my glasses. NOT COOL!

I went home and called my insurance provider and when I contacted Moses back they had found my insurance. Then I scheduled another appointment where I was quoted a price for my daughter and my glasses. They forgot to order my glasses and told me it was because they didn't make it through quality control. I said it sure would be funny if my daughter's glasses also failed quality control. Oops they forgot to order those. Finally after 5 weeks I call them to find out the glasses came in. I went to pick them up determined to not be upset. I was informed that I was under quoted and that I owe more money. I paid and was upset because I didn't miss quote myself. Now I received a phone call that they need to charge me more $? How am I to be held accountable for your mistakes and when will your company hold itself accountable for its mistakes?

    I'm still a fan of the Merrillville location of Moses EyeCare for all the reasons I detailed in my…read morefirst review: thorough & professional care, friendly staff, and quality frames and lenses. But the past two times I visited, I waited a rather long time at each interval of my appointment...a long wait before my consultation with the technician, another long wait before the OD arrived, more waiting for contacts and glasses, etc. I'm patient and they were busy, so it's understandable and I still highly recommend Moses EyeCare to anyone in the area. The receptionist fully explained the contact lens rebate over and over, even though I probably should have figured it out on my own. I'm a reasonably intelligent person, but I'm easily confused by things like income tax forms, Ikea assembly instructions, and money-back rebates, so her efforts are much appreciated. Also, the optical lady miscalculated the total cost of my exam, contacts, and glasses (clearly, I could have easily done the same thing) but the receptionist corrected the mistake. I love my new "everyday" specs, and I also bought a second pair of glasses just for fun, which I'm anxiously waiting to arrive. I don't know anything about the other Moses locations, but I've been very pleased with this located in spite of the long wait and minor goof-ups.

Once I finally did call to see where they were because I was experiencing horrible headaches from not having them. I rushed into get them again the headaches. I believe she said her name was Waylon but I'm not positive on that helped me. she was flirting with the man prior to me spent at last 45 min wooing him. I felt like telling her to just give him your number. When she did get to me she called a family of three all getting their glasses up before me. again with the headache I don't want to wait I inform her and she calls them all back there anyway. when she finally brings me my glasses she puts them down infront of me doesn't sit down to adjust them just tells me to with here and hands me a bag. what am I or my insurance company paying for her to flirt with guys and not even to finish the job. it would have taken me 2 mins to to any adjustments but she tells me I can come back to do them. like I want to come back and watch you flirt with customers. I already had to wait the 30 min for you to stop flurting and get the job done. now I got to do it again. The he eye dr was great definitely needs to hire better help.
