I've been dealing with Oxie since last summer. The eye doctor on staff is quite attentive. When my…read morenewest Rx just didn't seem right, he sent me to a specialist because he was concerned I had cataracts. I did. After both surgeries, I was able to get the perfect pair of glasses. This summer, I went back for Rx sunglasses, and I had another wonderful experience. The staff is patient and makes good suggestions. Since my lenses are blended, the first effort didn't fit my personal needs, and Mia couldn't have been nicer when I went in for an adjustment. The turnaround time for each pair was quicker than I expected. I now own two wonderful pairs of glasses from Oxie, and I hope to go back from one more. Since I'm writing this during the pandemic, I also have to applaud them on their safety measures. Limiting customers in the store, mask wearing, and cleaning everything made me feel comfortable and safe. I recommend Oxie!

I was nervous about visiting a new eye doctor, especially since my prescription was outdated, but my appointment went very well! I filled out a simple new patient form, got right in with the doctor's assistant, and then saw Dr. Bill shortly after finishing my initial eye tests. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and he even took the time to help me pick out my frames after my checkup! I appreciated his great sense of humor and his willingness to chat with me throughout my appointment. Overall, my experience with the Park family was excellent, and I can't wait to continue seeing them in the future!

The exam was very in depth and Dr. Martin has an incredible attention to detail. He is friendly and kind, very knowledgeable, and took the time to explain my diagnosis so I could understand it. My experience at Family Vision was like nothing I've had before at an eye doctors office; no one tried to shuffle me out in a rush and I felt like I was actually heard from the staff. The ladies at the front desk are true professionals. Janet, thank you for your expertise and being determined to figure out my difficult insurance! Pam, thank you for your kindness and patience! 10/10, 100%, 5-star would recommend!!! I can't say enough about my experience at Family Vision.

When he…read morewas 3.5 I had to take him to the doctor and they had to put drops in his eyes and do a bunch of tests and it was a traumatic thing for him. Fast forward to now, he needed a kindergarten eye exam. On top of his issues, I also have extreme fear of germs and going into public spaces right now is a big thing for me. I panicked for a week, calling different places, but I heard great things about this place so I chose to come here. BEST. DECISION. EVER. The staff was SO NICE as soon as we walked through the door. They immediately put me and my son at ease. It was ridiculously clean, I saw employees using hand sanitizer multiple times. Everything was covered in plastic. The doctor was AMAZING with my son. She explained everything, kept him talking so he wasn't focused too much on what was being done. It was quick and there were no tears. She explained everything to me and him afterwards. What I thought was going to be a horrible experience turned out to be a very positive one. If you're looking for kind and patient people, this is the place for you!

I still have those emails. They are professional and positive--with the exception of the last email I sent where I expressed displeasure of the way I was treated. Gaslighting isn't a good look. Your attempt to discredit me speaks volumes. As does the overly long explanation. Methinks the good doc doth protest too much.

When I looked up where I could use my vision benefits I was met with a meaningless, labyrinthine…read morelisting of basically every eye doctor inside of the Chicago area. It felt weird to cross reference this with Yelp ratings to try to make some sense of where to go... But I've definitely done weirder things. This led me to Smart Eyes, which not only was close but also had five stars. Truth be told, I'd actually put off going to an eye doctor for almost the entire year because I didn't want to deal with figuring out how to maximize the vision benefits I actually do have. (This confusion seems to be intentionally engineered by insurance companies.) This was all compounded by my experience in a previous career in vision correction where I was made fully aware of just how hard you can get ripped off on a pair of glasses. Well, they basically did all the work for to get the absolute best pair of glasses I could get to fully maximize my insurance benefits. This ended up being a full eye exam, a bunch of contacts, and a killer pair of glasses. All the equipment they've got is super new, the selection of frames is great, and any weird thing you want they'll just order for you. I've recommended Smart Eyes to a weird number of people because my experience there was so good, and as long as I'm in the area that's definitely where I'll be going for future optical needs.
