However, when I first met Aung (Dr.), I was thoroughly impressed. Please note I am tough to please:). I have a high power and so does my son so it's important to me that there is some expert that is watching out for the health of our eyes. For the first time in 27 years (since I came to USA), I felt that my eyes are in good care and that Dr. Aung would not let anything bad happen to our eyes. My daughter (who lives in London) also gets her checkups/glasses through them. Besides Aung, Dena and Lauren are also great. Over the years, it feels like we are part of the family. I trust them 100% w/ their recommendations as it's never about money but rather caring for the patients. Since I found them, I have recommended all my friends to their practice (family-run). The best thing - they respond to my texts even when it's as trivial as me forgetting my scarf in their office;) THank you Aung, Dena and Lauren. You guys truly rock!!

I was nervous about visiting a new eye doctor, especially since my prescription was outdated, but my appointment went very well! I filled out a simple new patient form, got right in with the doctor's assistant, and then saw Dr. Bill shortly after finishing my initial eye tests. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and he even took the time to help me pick out my frames after my checkup! I appreciated his great sense of humor and his willingness to chat with me throughout my appointment. Overall, my experience with the Park family was excellent, and I can't wait to continue seeing them in the future!

There's just simply not another doctor like him. He went to my mom's funeral who was also a long time patient - I'm guessing this isn't something he does often, but his schedule allowed it this time, and he made it happen. My dad and I were truly touched. His office staff is also outstanding. Dr. C. is funny, knowledgable, and goes out of his way. I will be super bummed, to say the least, when he retires. Naperville Optical is the best opticians office I have ever gone to. I have been treated with such love & kindness here, it's unlike any other experience I've had while purchasing glasses/contacts. Or anything else, for that matter. Eunice & her entire staff are all so lovely. I do not write reviews for places but if anyone deserves one, it is Naperville Optical. They have a wide selection of glasses to chose from, ranging from very affordable styles & childrens' styles, all the way to high-end brands such as Gucci. Not to mention that the entire staff is so welcoming and helpful. Each of them are extremely knowledgable about any questions you may have. They all remember my name and welcome me whenever I come back in. And it's not just me, I watch them do this for all customers. It's a level of care that is unmatched elsewhere. The amazing people who work here all seem to truly care for their community & care about helping others be able to see. So if you are deciding between eye doctors or looking for a new good one, this is surely the place for you :)

I am writing to formally express my deep frustration regarding my experience at your office today…read more I spent time on the phone scheduling an appointment and provided my complete insurance details, including my group number, so that it could be verified. I then drove to your office, only to be told upon arrival that you do not accept my insurance. Taking this information down over the phone only to tell me it is not accepted after I arrived makes completely no sense and was a complete waste of my time. This situation reflects poor training within your team. The office manager needs to further train the entire staff, and perhaps management could benefit from additional training as well, to ensure this does not happen to other patients. Seems like now you can't trust what is being said on the phone, and not until you are actually at the office they turn you away.

The exam was very in depth and Dr. Martin has an incredible attention to detail. He is friendly and kind, very knowledgeable, and took the time to explain my diagnosis so I could understand it. My experience at Family Vision was like nothing I've had before at an eye doctors office; no one tried to shuffle me out in a rush and I felt like I was actually heard from the staff. Parking lot is shared by a few restaurants and a faster option with Jimmy Johns. I have never found an issue parking here. Scheduling your eye exam is very easy. Unlike some places, I have never had an issue with calling and they have always picked up the phone. The building inside is very clean and they have plenty of options to pick from. I usually like sticking with Oakleys and they stock plenty of brands. One thing that I love about this place (which I haven't experienced from other locations) is that they are very clear about what my insurance covers and if any discounts from insurance I will get... ahead of time. From my years of coming here, all the staff are very friendly and accommodating. During my exam, they let me know what is covered under my insurance and if I have the options for further testing (which may or may not be covered). However, they do not push for these tests if you say no. The doctor here is also very friendly. He makes you feel like you are family that you haven't seen in a long time. He does not make you feel pressured nor does he pushes for any extra services or tests. Once I was finished with my exam, I brought the script to the front again, and I was free to pick out my glasses. Then they will sit you down, ask if you want any other upgrades if you wanted. Again, I like how they do not push anything extra. If you want basic and low cost, they have no issues... if you want to call all out, they will do that for you as well. I like how this place does give you text messages. They will remind you when your appointment is coming up, and if/when your glasses/contacts arrive.
