Asked for a 2-3 minute adjustment to my frames that had been purchased there. Overheard front desk asking Lisa in Optical and she said no, I'm busy, she needs to make an appointment. She didn't walk 15 feet to come over to see what I needed or speak to me herself. I had even said I had no problem waiting if she was busy. They just told me to make an appointment and come back another day. No thanks. I'm not going to take time out of my workday and drive 20 minutes each way to come back for something that should take 2 to 3 minutes. This massive lack of customer service is not on brand for the treatment that we receive from Dr. Robert or Bauer and was highly disappointing. Midwest Eye Optical will not be seeing another dime of my hard-earned money. If we didn't love the eye doctors so much I'd be finding a new one for all 4 of my family members. Pretty sure my 21 YO doesn't know who the insurer is, my birth date or the last four of my SSN which is what they need to submit the insurance claim. Not sure that the less than user friendly staff understands the concept of HIPAA in this context. I am the person providing all the of the "personal" information.
