I wear progressive lenses, so they are quite expensive, but they cost much less here than anywhere else. Plus, they offer a 15% military discount. I was about to purchase my third pair in as many years a few days ago, then found out that they were having a two for one special, including progressives. Hallelujah! I paid $470 for two pairs of glasses with both scratch resistant and blue light coatings! The best part of my visit was being helped by Erica, the optician. Not only was she sweet and patient, with her expertise and great taste she helped me choose two beautiful frames (which was difficult because they have a wide selection.) Terrible. I bought pair of glasses said I'd like my second set free via sign in window they said your second pair will be 340 bucks I declined ,no explanation why mgr was extremely rude overbearing and talked in circles ,I hung up I will never go back , false advertising ,apparently there is fine print second set i mickey mouse glasses plastic lenses single vision only total joke , update update ,just got an email they are refunding my money for second pair check is in the mail lol read more

I ordered a pair of glasses. they made the perception wrong. Not once, or twice, but three times. It was an all day affair to get my prescription without half bifocals in the middle of the lens. These things happen... and some months later I went in to take advantage of their free replacement lens and get a less scratched pair. One of my replacement lenses has a semi circle about the size of half of a pencil eraser. I Realized this after they had closed and I live an hour away. I asked Eyemart to mail me a replacement lens. And they mailed me replacement frames with stock lenses. I just don't understand how they are still in business. read more

I got a good pair of glasses in April 2021. They've broken in different places twice. They've replaced them no questions asked both times. I love it here. I've been going here for a long time. Best part, I go next door to the STATE OF THE ART eye doctor and bring my script right here. I'm texted within an hour usually that my glasses are ready. read more

Came in the store and there were 2 associates helping a total of 12 customers in the store waiting. When asked the procedure to get a script filled the person was very cold, unsociable, not friendly and not professional. I will give Eyemart Express one more visit and see if my experience is any better. Come on people..You can do BETTER than this. read more

This was a horrible experience! I ordered two pair of glasses and frames from Eyemart Express on the Hogan Road in Bangor, ME. We went to pick them up and one was fine. The other I had trouble seeing with so they took the glasses back to send away again. I went to pick up the second pair when they came in and the young lady said she needed my frames in order to put in the glasses. We told her that they kept the frames and the glasses. She explained she need the ones I took home. So we told her again. Now why would I want an empty frame or a frame with glasses that I could not see out of! She then went and got a gentleman who proceeded to tell us he needed the frames -- you know, the ones we DID NOT HAVE! Finally he asked the manager (who did not even come out) and the manager said to give us the frames for free! We paid for those frames, so he was inferring that we could keep the ones we DID NOT HAVE at home and he'd throw in these! We took the glasses and left NEVER TO GO BACK AGAIN! In 73 years (39 of those as a teacher) I don't think my husband or I have EVER been accused of taking something from a store. This was actually a double horrible experience! read more

Long wait and was told it would be 1.5 hour wait and cost me $80 after insurance . When i was about to cash out I was told she had read my prescription wrong and it would be 3 weeks and $160 for my glasses. When I came to pick them up there were some people there clearly unhappy about how long they had been waiting. When someone asked if they could just get their glasses we were rudely told to sit down, twice. As if we were children. Never again. read more

The staff is kind, courteous, and professional. Each team worker I interacted with was warm and funny and kind. Clearly, they were extremely busy but still managed to treat each customer well. They were able to have my glasses ready in under an hour. read more

I am very dissatisfied with our experience at eyemart Express, when we were directed to a sign in book, to sign in to be seen in the order that we arrived. After signing in, waiting a few minutes and then browsing around for a bit, we became very disgruntled when we realized that the people that came in after us, who didnt sign in, was helped right away, this happened not once but 3 times before I decided to speak up. What's the point of a sign in book if you do t stick to it. Very dissatisfied with the customer service here at eyemart express. read more
