I recently became completely bed ridden due to illness. I had to be admitted to the hospital. And I lost my glasses! I contacted eyeglass world because that is where I got my original prescription. i have been going here for years i go into the optometrist inside here and take my prescription with my own frames and let eyeglass world switch out my lenses. i have never had a problem up until today. I believe her name was stacy. she was completely unprofessional and made any excuse to not accept my frames. This time i had brought in my disabled moms frames to get her some new glasses and without even looking at the frames she said she wouldn't be able to accept them. she then told me to go to the sahara location tomorrow and that her manager might be able to help me instead. she insisted i didn't tell anyone that she sent me there. i am definitely not happy with the service here. side note, after i left i went to AT&T next door and have been waiting in my car for a while. I just want to be clear that this review is for the actual Eyeglass World and not the Optometrist's office inside of this place. We had an awful experience in there!!! Not fair to have such crappy practitioners tucked in a great establishment. As far as looking for glasses at an affordable price, this is a great place to go! We were greeted by the staff letting us know they will be with us soon and to start looking around. We looked at the $89.99 section for men's glasses options (my bf was the one getting glasses). We were then given a basket and told to come over to sit down when we have our selections picked out. We picked some winners and got seated with Gale. She went over our options and was honest with us about what should be added on to the pairs we got. My boyfriend had anti-glare on his previous glasses and Gale recommended he get that added for sake of comfortability and not having to come in again to get them redone. She explained it's because one will notice a difference with/without and if you have it already, odds are you WILL want it if you don't get it. We opted in for that on one pair. We were curious about making the other pair sunglasses and what their options were for tinted lenses. Though they didn't have an example of what the polarized ones looked like, they did have an example of the tinted lenses. We ended up going with the gray tint and no anti-glare on those. My boyfriend's total came out to $186.81 2 pairs @ $89.99 Anti glare @ $50 Tint @ $15 Tax Gale let us know his glasses would be ready the next day at 2pm and we were able to pick them up before closing. The lady who helped get the frames fitted was named Patty if I am not mistaken and she was wonderful as well. Gale really was amazing and honest in her experience sharing. She made us feel at home and was our Eyeglass World "Mom" in this whole experience. Couldn't be more grateful! read more

Walked into this location for a repair of my driving glasses that my optometrist could not fix. Was immediately greeted by Barbara Heatherington, the manager and no joke 10 minutes later she replaced the broken arm with one that almost resembles my frame at no charge. So here I am two weeks after trying to get the pair of glasses that I paid for and it's still not ready . They didn't even have the glasses fixed and no one even called me to let me know the status of my glasses. It seems like the only thing they care about is getting a sale because once I left the store apparently my glasses were just put on hold even after two weeks ( apparently they were waiting for the lenses to arrive and even after the two weeks they still didn't get it fixed) I think it's unprofessional and disgusting that they almost took three weeks to fix a pair of glasses that they assured would only take two. After my eye exam I was helped pretty quickly. I did feel a little unsure that I was getting only what I asked for. But paid and waited to be called about my new glasses. I received a call that my glasses were ready for pickup. My experience was excellent! I already had my prescription, so I only needed to choose my frames. Daeja helped me initially and when I returned 2 hrs later Patty fitted me with the finished pairs. My husband had ordered 2 pairs of glasses from this place & had a good experience, so he drove me over there. RUBY SAVED THE DAY! She checked my lenses to every frame in the shop even remotely a possible match. When none of the frames they sell were an exact match to my lenses, she went in the back & found some that were a perfect fit IN THE DONATION BIN. This woman is a rockstar!! She cleaned them for me repeatedly & they looked like brand new glasses when she gave them to me. She refused to take any money!! She wouldn't even let me buy her lunch! I have been going to optometrists for over 20 years so I have seen my fair share of eye doctors. So believe me when I tell u the female doctor at this location "Dr. Anne Cromer" is the absolute WORST. She is very unprofessional and rude. She does not want to hear ur concerns or questions she will cut u off mid-sentence. I can not express how disrespectful she is, she's lucky I didn't call corporate. Do not get your eye exam with her as she will walk all over you. Thankfully I was able schedule my second appointment with the male Dr. Murray he was basic but nice & professional. The optical staff was fine no problems and prices were great. Short wait times. So i will return, but definitely seeing Dr. Murry ONLY. read more

Glasses price is a good deal for the 2 for $78, yet the selection available for that is limited. If you look at other frames not included in that range, the cost is pretty steep for the frames as they tend to me more the designer label frames. And the pricing continues to get more expensive with the add ons on top of the prescription strength cost (the stronger it is the more you pay). After signing in, you have to wait for half an hour or more to be attended to. Husband went in to pick up his glasses today to see if they were ready (the store had not notified hubby they were ready) for pick up, and had to wait over half an hour just to pick them up. The gentleman had excellent customer skills, and stated appointments are scheduled via 702.369.2020. The female answering asked me to hold for a few moments. Fifteen minutes later, I hung up and called again. This time she seemed like she had time to help, but before asking about appointments, I asked her why I was kept on hold for 15+ minutes. Her response was they're busy checking people in, and she suggested taking my name and number and inturn calling me back shortly. That was around 2:30. They close at 7:00. Yept, you guessed it. No return call. I definitely would recommend NOT doing business with this company. If this is an indication of how they respond to their customers, I hate to think how they respond when there are bigger issues to deal with. read more

Best to take your prescription to Zenni Optical, better quality eye glasses at reasonable, without insurance insane pricing. I purchased the $25 one year damage insurance plan as I have a tendency to fall asleep with my glasses on and crush them. Very disappointed with the lack of customer service at the store this afternoon at 5 PM. Was in the store for the better part of 10 minutes and none of the customer service representative's bothered to speak to me or even acknowledge my existence which I thought was Peculiar especially since people entered the store after me and were greeted right away. There were also at least five staff members on site in the store at the time that I was there with my children. Disappointed would be an understatement and I wish I could speak on the quality of their products but I guess I was not important enough to the staff to even have the opportunity to find out.
