The service over the phone was excellent Virginia helped me get an appointment right away. When I arrived Dr. Keller checked my eyes and provided me with a prescription. I was able to choose my glasses right away. Virginia helped me with my selection. Highly recommend coming here for your eye exam, they do accept some insurance, unfortunately I didn't have any but pricing was reasonable for my selections! read more

Dr Keller took care of my wife very well. He was friendly and efficient. He did not rush through anything, obviously caring a lot about her situation. This is a small, family owned business. The staff is friendly and professional. The selection of eye wear is perfect and prices are good. Go here for a more personalized experience. I was informed when I scheduled my appointment that I would be able to get one free pair of glasses and the exam and I called back to reschedule my appointment. However I was informed then that I wouldn't be able to order a pair of glasses until August, which was lack of communication on their end because I was misinformed twice now there's another lady I guess the manager at that location and she was rude. I have purchased 2 pairs of (cheap, mediocre) glasses here yet the customer service remains subpar. All I needed was a simple screw replacement and they told me I had to "find someone else to do it" because they "didn't have one that fit". After years of getting glasses repaired from the locations that I purchased them at (and sometimes for a fee which I gladly paid!) this was such a slap in the face. **POST LOCKDOWN REVIEW** NEW PATIENTS!** Absolutely UNBELIEVABLE! Great customer service from the moment we walked in! They were very conscientious in making sure everyone was clear that everything was sanitized (which we loved), and to sit in waiting room AFTER we sanitize our own hands with their provided sanitation area. We noticed right away they had people that wanted to try on frames, to put them in a designated separate container for cleaning afterwards. The new patient application was a one page, clear & concise and to the point. Great process. Once the form was submitted, got to see the doctor within a few minutes. In meeting with Dr. Keller, he's a non-commercial type doctor aka back in the day type doc that tells it like it is, without trying to sell any particular brand. I could tell he had my son's well-being taken care of. He asked all the right questions and very well appreciated having a doctor know what he's doing. So refreshing. My son had his appointment and then it was my turn. In picking out the frames, my son got his and I got mine. They had so many great frames to choose from. Very simple process but the price blew me away!!! Although I didn't take the offer, they had a BOGO sale. They do same day glasses pick up, but since my apt was later in the day I wasn't able to take them home with me. If i could give them zero I would . Be aware they have two Yelp for this and one of the help is almost 2 star. I bought my glasses from them and the lenses were very cheap and I got it anti glare but nothing like Anti glare , so I paid extra for nothing and when I went to complain this Asian lady was rude and didn't wanted to take care of me, at the end I got my money back and I had to wait another 2 weeks now to get my glasses from another place . Be aware that they make your glasses there for you within an hour and I think that's where they mess up they use a in house cheap lens and glasses . After years of being a customer, I was extremely disappointed when I had returned three times for corrections over my last pair of glasses. They never fixed the problem in any of my visits, so I went to three independent businesses, all of which agreed the glasses were not mounted correctly and the lenses were over 1 millimeter too think. The owner refused to correct the problem and said he would give me a refund, and to take my business elsewhere. Great way to treat a long-time client. read more

Pricing with insurance on the phone call was suppose to be deductible only when we arrived no mention of tax on total purchase also you pay two deductibles also was not mentioned I expected to pay 20 with deductible I was charged 115. Based on my initial conversation I also paid cash for eye exam but because of the big price difference I was unable to afford glasses for myself. I was in Vegas for a trade show and had picked up a new pair of glasses from my local optometrist in Austin on my way to the airport without time for a fitting. They were new progressive bifocals, and fitting is vital to how they work, otherwise you get terrible eye strain and headaches. I ate breakfast next door and found this place on yelp. I explained to DJ, the optician my predicament and he spent about a half hour with me, as if I was his own customer. The difference once adjusted was astounding, the glasses are dead on perfect. They are an independent shop, and the service to me demonstrated their value vs. the mall chains or som I offered to pay and he declined. read more

I was searching on Groupon for a good deal on an eye exam and glasses and wasn't having much luck. I just so happened to come across this business on Google and they ended up being even more affordable than any Groupon offer. The eye exam is only $65.00 and they have some really cute and stylish frames that are 2 for $59 (including lenses.) The Dr. was very thorough and explained each step of the eye exam as he went along. I appreciated that he didn't try to upsell me on any glasses (even though I had my eye on some really cute frames) being that I only need reading glasses. I usually go to Lens Crafters for my contact lense exam but I should have called this place sooner! Lens Crafters is ridiculously overpriced and I was disappointed with my last visit due to being charged for something I didn't ask for and a change in doctor. Coming here to True Eyecare, was the best decision I ever made. Dr. Keller took his time with me figuring out the best focus for my contacts. The contacts I previously had were horrible. They were only meant to be used for a month but unfortunately I had them on past that due to not being able to get an appointment at my previous ophthalmologist because of COVID-19. Dr. Keller gave me some temporary contacts to wear in the meantime. He gave me the prescription for glasses and contact lenses at an amazing price. Virgini was really helpful in helping me order my contacts and she called me as soon as they arrived. I received my contacts almost two weeks after ordering them and can finally see clearly again.
