The frame on my glasses broke,so I went to frame fixer.i spoke with brittany Who told me they are unable to fix the frame,however she offered to take my lenses and put them in a new frame. I had brought some old frames that I really like. Brittany said there is a chance they could shave down the old lenses to fit my old frame,as it turned out my new lenses fit perfectly into my old frame. Brittany popped them in. I bought glasses from Warby Parker that had no nose piece. I loved the design but sadly with my nose the glasses kept falling down. The Warby Parker employee recommended coming here to see if they could place a nose pieces on my glasses. I paid $130, which is 100% worth it since I wear my glasses everyday. The outcome of my glasses was better than I expected. The work is extremely exceptional and well done. Everyone at the store was so nice and helpful. Fat lady, (didnt get her name), was not kind. These people are highly overpriced and take a while to get work done. They will hstle you to the best of their ability. They also DO NOT TAKE insurance here. 130+ tax is their cheapest frames and thats not even including labor. Also saw the fat lady hustling an older couple saying they need to grt everything from a-z and it'll cost $650+. When they asked if their is something that can be done for the amount, she said their is nothing they can do as they have to get all these extra little services in order for it to be right. I purchased the frames online and needed to adjust them for fitting. Took them to Walmart at first and they declined helping but recommended this place. So we drive there and the lady helping us was super friendly, down to earth. She did not turn us away and proceeded to help with the caveat that if they break, this place is not responsible since we did not purchase the frames there. Fine, no problem. She gave it 1 try and they fit great! She didn't even charge is and was personable. Overall, that was amazing customer services there! FYI: This place is located in a small plaza, right in the corner of that plaza. It looks unassuming from the outside but on the inside, they have a great selection of frames. My favorite sunglasses (and most expensive of course) fell off my face while I was riding my bike and I ran over them. They were bent, scratched, and misshapen. Googled Frame Fixer and so glad I did. If I could choose no stars I would. My 11 year old son and my father who is deaf went in because one of the temples broke from my sons glasses. My dad didn't call me so he wasn't aware that they were under warranty. I was told that they were given two choices; either fix the temple (BUT it wouldn't be the same color) OR to buy a whole new frame. I wouldn't consider they were given much choice because my father ended up purchasing a whole new frame and lenses. Upon talking to my son I was informed that the sales people were pushing them to choose the more expensive option by having him try on a bunch of different frames. When my son said "oh we can just fix them" the sales person said "oh so the second option". I see this as a form of predatory salesmanship, because who lets an eleven year old boy who hardly can translate for his deaf grandpa make the choice to purchase whole new pair of glasses when the alternative option of fixing them would be the most cost effective for the customer. I called the store to cancel the order and ensure that my dad was able to get a refund. This is an example of poor and unacceptable customer service. Considering the fact that his aunt was able to pop the temple back into place and add in a screw with an at home eyeglass kit. I am very disappointed in this experience and recommend anyone who is deaf or hard of hearing to bring a translator. I will be taking this into my regular eye doctors office to get properly fixed. read more

The price of the repair was fair and lower than I anticipated and the scheduled pick up was way sooner than I was anticipating. My eye Dr suggested I go here to have my glasses repaired. To be honest, I was nervous after reading the reviews... People either love them or hate them. I did go to them, and they do charge upfront, and it was $65.00 to fix the spring of the arm. I know it is odd to pay upfront but this is how they do business. They spent a little time with me, educating me on glasses, and how to handle them, as I am relatively new to wearing them. And I appreciated the education. Things that my doctor's office person did NOT talk to me about when buying glasses. I also spoke to them about the pricing of new glasses, specifically progressive lenses, and already they are better priced than at my doctor's office. I am not saying I am buying my new glasses from them, I am checking around for pricing. I am a member of Costco, so I will be checking out their prices as well. In Vegas for convention,, and 5 days till I get home. What do I do? Step on my glasses.. My thin framed Silhouette glasses. At 4:30 PM, I was recommended Frame Fixer after calling a few other shops. I broke my glasses on the first night of our vacation. We went the next day at 1pm and they had them fixed by 5pm for a very reasonable price. I found them online, walked in and there was no one there. I was greeted right away, handed over my Louis Vuitton Sunglasses for inspection and was told that it would cost $20 to replace the screw. I was quoted $145 by Louis Vuitton and told it would take 8 weeks. I paid and before I could even take a seat, my glasses were completed. The service was the best I have received in a long time. If there was no star would be better. I called asked if they replaced hinges, was told yes. Brought in my glasses , was told they'd be ready this afternoon. I called they were too busy to talk & they'd call me back! The lady said all it need was a screw because it was the wrong size screw. $20 for a screw, I could buy a lot of screws.
