Today, I snagged an appointment with Dr. Todd who was patient, kind, and seemed very thorough with his exam to make sure my prescription was perfect before AND after my contact fitting he double checked. I was helped by Nick to choose glasses frames, order contacts, etc. He told me about a special package for a great price on select glasses (and it's a BIG selection) so that I didn't pay a ton of money on glasses that I don't wear all that much anyway. He was so helpful and cool. He called JOYCE over to help me choose the right pair for me and having her there was like having my sister there to help with my indecisiveness lol. Nick and Joyce were a real pleasure and genuinely made my day. I left so happy! Thank you guys for the wonderful service. I will be back to this location from now on!

When I called to schedule an appointment, I spoke with Nick, the manager. During our conversation, I asked whether there was a grace period in case something unexpected happened in life, such as traffic or other unforeseen circumstances that could cause someone to arrive a few minutes late. Nick's response was, "NO. One minute late, you will be charged." His tone was demanding and intimidating. I understand that medical offices have policies and that patients are expected to arrive on time. However, there is a professional and respectful way to communicate those policies. I felt threatened by the way he spoke to me, and I questioned why he was addressing me in such a demanding manner. What disappointed me even more was Nick's response when I expressed how his tone made me feel. Rather than acknowledging my concerns or attempting to address the situation professionally, he was dismissive and continued to come across as rude and disrespectful. After this interaction, I told Nick that I would not be scheduling an appointment and would be finding another eye doctor moving forward. His response was simply, "Okay." There was no acknowledgment of my concerns or any apparent effort to understand why a longtime patient was choosing to leave the practice. After being a patient for several years, I believe I deserved a more respectful and professional conversation. I was simply asking a reasonable question about whether any flexibility existed for unexpected circumstances. I was not asking to disregard the office's policies; I was asking a question and expected to be treated with courtesy. This experience has changed my perception of the practice, and I will be taking my business elsewhere. Patients deserve to be treated with dignity, respect, and professionalism, especially when they have trusted a medical practice with their care for years. Unfortunately, my interaction with Nick left me feeling disrespected and unwelcome.

I was referred to Personal Eyes because my style is a little more bold and unique and I was having trouble finding the perfect frames elsewhere. I have worn eye glass frames for 20 years as I cannot use contacts, so having a frame that stands out has always been a goal of mine. Nancy's options are so thoughtfully selected and each one has character! I also loved that Nancy had small business brands and brands that you've never seen before. I had so much fun trying on all of her boldly beautiful pieces and ended up having multiple favorites which almost never happens to me..
