Go elsewhere. Nice to take your money n time upfront. But when it comes to picking up and adjustments they only do certain days and times. Very limited. I stated I wished they told me that upfront and she got rude on phone. Glasses ready. It wait 2 more weeks?? Had to get a manager involved Sonja and all she likes to do is talk over you and not listen. Called me a liar as well. Unacceptable. Treat people better or lose business. Anything can happen. Optic Gallery is a provides specialty services for Eye Doctor and Eye Care Services. This location is in Northwest Las Vegas off of the Durango/215 exit. My partner has been going to Optic Gallery for several years. All of the staff at this location are amazing! Their customer service is awesome and always helpful with any type of questions we may have. The appointment times are always immediate upon arrive. My family and I have been coming here for eye checkups and glasses for at least 5 years now. Customer service has always been great and the optometrists have been awesome! They are also great with kids. Both Madison and Dr. Frillarte made my son feel at ease during his appointment. Christina is always helpful with frame choosing and insurance information. They offer a variety of frames and carry several name brand frames. Also, tax is already included in their pricing for frames. They don't do in house work for glasses, but send them out elsewhere and glasses are usually ready some time between 7-10 business days. Occasionally, they'll even come earlier! read more

So I ordered glasses and was told it would take 7 to 10 business days to get them. I called on the 11th day and was told there was some type of defect on the lenses and it had to be sent back to the lab. Don't know why it was not checked before getting sent back to the store. I did not get a call but was told it will be in by the end of the week. So I had to call back again to see if it came in and the representative at the store said she had to call the lab and would call me back. Never got a follow up and I called back the next day only to be told they don't know and I have to wait until Monday to find out since the lab is closed. Horrible customer service. No call or follow up and I don't know when I'm getting the glasses. I hope I get it next week and I will get my prescription and going to a different place. read more

The most pleasant customer service experience I've had in a long time! I didn't have an appointment, and the young lady that greeted me made me feel welcomed with her smile, and she came from around the desk to help with my search to find a new pair of glasses. Because I am always overwhelmed with the selections, I asked if she could make a few recommendations. She asked me what I was looking for. Once she heard me, she went straight for her first choice...I was sold! However, she gave me a few other options that were similar, but we both agreed the first pair was it. To add to the selection process, she was so knowledgeable at explaining my benefits and the overall cost. I mean, she pulled out a real calculator and had the figures all written out on a piece of paper...Nice!! We even had a pleasant conversation about life events. My family and I have been coming here for a few years. I personally see the same Dr each year, only because of my other health issues. They're always very kind from making appointments, to entering the building, to all of the prep work before the Dr. The office is always very clean. They have a large selection of frames for men and women, they even have kids frames. My son being a minor, I've had the pleasure of meeting most of the Dr's and all of them are always knowledgeable, able to answer any questions, recommend and give samples, and ask all the right questions without making you feel like you're not asking them for yourself. The eye doctor is rude and condescending sent my 7 yr old home with a completely wrong prescription ( which I had verified). I brought him back to get them fixed, and She came in the room immediately speaking to me in a condescending mannor and then asked why I was upset. Seriously I wonder why. Refused to admit she made a mistake, she very rudely suggested I leave him in the bad prescription, or she could put him in his old glasses or give him a pair somewhere in the middle really why not just recheck his vision and correct the lenses instead she just was rude, condescending and unprofessional. Not a fan. I originally went to them to get lenses put in glasses I bought because I was dissatisfied with how I had been treated at Eye Glass World. The first time was great. So the time came for new glasses this year. My wife and I both went in for eye exams. We both needed new glasses. I picked out a set of frames. I was told I was getting 20% off on the frames. Ok, that's cool. HOWEVER, come to find out all their frames are over manufacturers retail. My frame which was $650 minus 20% is $520. YET THE MANUFACTURER HAS THEM RETAIL FOR $500. So even with the supposed 20% off I paid more than retail. 2 days later I stopped in with my daughter to get her eyes check. She needed glasses. The optometrist/SALES PERSON COULDNT HAVE BEEN LESS HELPFUL. THEN, I started talking to them about my glasses. I decided I wanted to change from a lined bifocal to a no line bifocal. Well even though my order hadn't been started yet they couldn't change it. I asked why, couldn't get a straight answer. Then I brought up the fact that my glass frames were MORE than retail and got the answer, "Well we have to make money." Yes, you do but after working retail myself, you also know that if the frame sells for $500, they at the most pay 50% to the manufacturer if not prob 35-40% of what retail is because they are a chain and have buying power. I told her I wanted to cancel my order and I was told "No refunds" even though my glasses had not been started. The front desk lady was combative with me so I left. I took my daughter prescription to Warby Parker where she saw frames she liked. Upon presenting it, the optometrist asked, why does she have Blue Light added if they are for distance only? GOOD POINT!! She can't use them to look at the computer screen. So more BS added on so if I had bought glasses from them they would have up charged me. Would not recommend. Just because you can rip someone off who doesn't know, doesn't mean you should. Will not be back and will let fiends and family know about their BS. read more

Service is trash. I scheduled for an appointment a week in advance. Showed up five minutes late, and they told me that they would not be able to assist me because I had an appointment five minutes ago. Never have I walked into an office being slightly late and not received service. They were not even busy. When asked if I could reschedule a new appointment since they would not take me this day, they said the next appointment would be one month out. It sucks that optic gallery does not communicate with other locations because this location is 20 minutes away from my house and I drove to my appointment and was denied service. read more

I booked my appointment via ZocDoc online (yes, it's awesome and you can book everything online and filter by insurance/ location/ and appointment dates or times available). I followed Dr. Hartman to this location from the Centennial location where I saw him last year (and left a Yelp review). My experience here was flawless and I wish all Doctor's office visits were just as smooth. I was promptly greeted and the Doctor's assistants were delightful, helpful and bubbly. After I checked in, I was whisked away to complete my initial eye exam and then brought to the back to complete the full exam. Dr. Hartman was kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. He completed my eye exam efficiently and I was in and out without delay. He kept good conversation throughout the exam and this helped the exam fly by. The Doctor's assistants were pleasant and helped me pick out frames . They were very patient in explaining my VSP insurance coverage and options. I tried on 15+ glasses and they were patient the entire time and provided honest feedback on what frames they liked best when I solicited them for feedback). This was great since I came by myself and didn't have a friend with me for a second opinion. Final verdict: This office and staff are amazing! Dr. Hartman and the assistants are top notch and I truly wish all my physician visits operated as smoothly. I will return and can't wait for my new glasses to come in! They even have a sale on frames and I saved a few bucks. I already booked my husbands exam before I left. Come here and your eyes will be in good hands. Hot Tip: Bring a pair of shades with you in case you opt to have your eyes dilated for the exam. You won't have to look like the terminator with the disposable shades they provide. read more

Went for an appointment on Friday woke up with pink eye on Sunday. Staff does a poor job of cleaning equipment. The Dr did my entire exam when she asked if my prescription was clear I said no. She then pulled the equipment away from my face and cleaned it. After she did this my prescription was clear. You think they would clean there equipment before each patient. read more

I have been going to the Optic Gallery Family Eye Care for 8 years. They have impressed me time after time with their great customer service and the time they are willing to help with selecting the perfect frame for your glasses as well as their knowledge on contact lenses. I have always seen Krystyne Vose when it comes to selecting the right frame as I have extremely thick glasses so the frame, I choose has to be just right in order to try and hide the thickness of my glasses so I can feel a little confident when I where them out of the house. I would definitely recommend seeing Dr Erin Frillarte if possible as she is willing to take the time to explain all that is going on with the health of your eyes. She is also very knowledgeable and friendly. The location of their office is super convenient. It is located on Durango very close to Deersprings which is very close to the Centennial Hospital. I can honestly say, they have gained a lifetime customer. Oh, and my wife is very Happy with them as they also take care of her eyes. This is my favorite Optic Gallery location. We've been to 3. We always see Dr Hartman. My kids and I have been seeing him for years, and we've never had any issues. He's friendly and knowledgeable. I have some more difficult vision issues, and he's always great about accommodating my requests for prescriptions. (One specifically for computer, specifically for driving etc.) We worked with Tiffany to pick out my daughters glasses. There was an initial misunderstanding about our insurance benefits, but once it was cleared up she apologized and made sure we knew our actual coverage. Been a customer for 2 years now. Last year I got clear contacts and a pair of glasses. The process was quick and easy. My glasses to a little bit to come in but I also had all the fixings like tint, scratch resistant, etc. This year I wanted to try colored contacts. I knew I had astigmatism but wanted to try. The doctor was really patient and corrected my vision to a fair point to where I could finally get colored contacts. My husband wears hard contacts for his Keratoconus and this place was good about getting them in quickly. Only concern I had about his contacts were that they didn't give him a new eye exam. They just requested his prescription from over a year ago and refilled that one not knowing if his eyes had changed. Aside from that, I don't like that they don't do Pediatric eye exams. I have to take my girls to a place 45 mins away. Other than that, love this place. read more

I decided to purchase in Optic Gallery after my eye exam and ended paying way too much. I wish I had bought my glasses online. Another issue was communication via email, I was ignored when I asked for Pupillary Distance because it was not on my prescription after the exam. When I finally called after not getting a response of two emails I was told they would not give me my Pupillary Distance even though it was measured for me, I wanted to buy a couple more pairs online since there was no way I would be able to afford another pair of glasses at Optic Gallery. Online glasses are a tenth of the price I paid and they are still great glasses. When I paid as much as I did I expect customer service and I feel I did not get it. read more

The appointment itself was okay, but the hoops I had to jump through to get my contact lenses was pretty stupid. Only half my order came in after about 2 weeks. They said they would contact me after the rest of it had arrived. That's fine, stuff gets mixed up in the mail. Five weeks go by. I hadn't received a call so I thought I'd drop a line and get an update. Turns out they were on back order and they'd call me as soon as they came in, which "should be soon." Fair enough, back order is out of their control. Week seven, still hear nothing. I call and sure enough, my contacts are in. No notice, just let my order sit in their office for two more weeks. Stupid. I only ordered six months of contact lenses, so when I need a refill, won't be going here. read more

Optic Gallery - How awesome are these Michael Kors glasses? - Eyewear & Opticians Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

So it had been a few years since I had gotten my eyes looked at and I thought I should get a new pair of glasses. I called this store because it was the last place I had gone and I was satisfied with the service I received last time, and they took my insurance. (VSP...but I'm pretty sure everyone takes that.) They moved to a new location down the street from their old one and the place is huge and nice and clean. The showroom is considerably larger than their previous location. My previous doctor didn't seem to be at this new location so I was assigned to a new (to me) doctor. She was great and very friendly and upbeat. I have no problems with the doctor. My issue is that I arrived 15 minutes early for my 9:30AM appointment (with only 2 other people in the waiting area) and I didn't get taken back to the exam room until 10AM. Did a few tests, then went to another exam room and the doctor came in and did her thing. Then I went to pick frames and lens options, and was charged about $340 after all my insurance allocations had been applied. I expected as much and since I was buying premium frames and coatings for the lenses, I was not surprised. They tell me it will be 7-10 days for them to come in. So...in this modern world where I get handmade shoes from Korea delivered to my door within 6 days of my order, I order a set of glasses that might have to go across town to get made or even on the outside chance there are no lens fabrication facilities here in the Vegas valley, they might have to send it to Los Angeles. IT SHOULD NOT TAKE 10 DAYS!!! (I know...I sound petty and stupid, but keep reading.) So on the 10th day, since I haven't heard from them, I call Optic Gallery and after a brief delay, they tell me that the glasses have arrived and that I was on their list of people to call. To be fair, it was about 9:30AM and it is plausible that they were *just about* to call me. Anyway, I go to pick the glasses up and for some reason everything is fine except for the left lens. My eye refuses to focus through the left lens. At first, I thought maybe I had smudged the lens and that's why I couldn't see properly. The lady helping me graciously cleaned them off and I tried again. SAME PROBLEM. She checks my prescription and then tests the lenses and she determines that the "axis" is off for the left lens. (Whatever that means.) So now she says you can wear it like that, or leave it here, but regardless, I'll place an order and have the lens re-made. She talks about overnight couriers how they will fix it asap. I leave a bit irritated, but I keep telling myself that things happen and sometimes things go wrong and stop being a whiny little bitch about it. So that was Tuesday (5/5/2015) and I just called today because I hadn't heard anything. Again, after a delay, I am told that it might be tomorrow or next Monday when the new lens comes in and then they will cut it to fit my frames for me while I wait. To recap in case you nodded off during my semi-rant, I have paid this company over $600 (between exams, eye tests, and lenses and frames) waited 12 days, have to make yet another visit to pick up the new lens (assuming it is correctly made this time) and I STILL DON'T HAVE A PRODUCT I CAN USE YET. (Although, to be fair, it's a very nice set of glasses and they are stunningly attractive sitting on my desk.) Maybe I was just unlucky, but the lack of communication is really irksome. THAT is something they CAN control. When I have to get glasses again, I think I will try another store, because that is something I can control. *****5/11/2015 UPDATE: So I called today and they said that they were going to make up a whole new set of lenses. This time, they were super apologetic, and drove to my office to pick up the frames and delivered them to me after the work was done later in the day. Accordingly, I have updated from 1 star to 2 because this was much better customer service than I received before. They still have to work on that communication because during this whole ordeal, I have always been the one initiating contact about this issue. read more

Amazing! This has been the best experience dealing with anything in the medical field right now my appointment was actually on time and the experience was great from beginning to end. Walking in the staff was very welcoming, Dr Bendicion was very understanding and just over all nice! The reason I really want to write this review was because of Tiffany, she was just so friendly!
