Decided to go to vision works and see if we could find some new glasses. The location was Very easy find at the entrance to meadows mall next to JC penny's. We were immediately greeted when we walked in and asked if we needed any help. I told her that we were in to purchase glasses. She directed us to the glasses and took our information to help make the process go faster. We found the glasses we liked, she explained thoroughly all of the options we could have with those glasses and lenses. She also explained how long it could possibly take and we would be notified when they were ready for pickup. The entire time we were there everyone was polite, location clean and tidy, easy transaction. Went to this location on a Sunday afternoon and did not have that long of a wait time. Definitely will be returning if I need anymore glasses or adjustments. I wish I remembered the name of my sales associate, on the receipt her employee number was 37801 she definitely went above and beyond to take care of us. Initially visited to see what insurances they accepted & generally get information on the services they offered as my insurance switched. I went to my appointment with another retailer with plans to return to them for my glasses! Wrong idea! Laura the ("Manager") was extremely poor in communication and lacked professionalism. Randy the ("Sales Rep") was even worse! I asked Laura a few questions about the glasses and specific frames & all she did was make me feel dense! Randy then puts his 2-sense in, goes what? I can help him! So he walked over & I asked if they had a specific style I was looking for he then begins to do the same "dense rundown" as if I didn't understand the way their pricing / location of each item worked. So I reiterated my question he goes, "well this is it!" And I said yes I understand that's the brand I'm asking for! Question is; if you guys can order or if another location has a similar style? He continues to talk over me & say the same thing over again. "I don't understand you, what's your question?" Then as I'm explaining he cuts me off and begins getting hostile, loud and rude! As I exited they can be seen laughing & being unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend anyone traveling to this location; I went in with the intention of getting my glasses done here ! I purchased several new pairs of glasses here (frames and lenses) and have had no problems with them. I also had the lenses replaced in two older frames I purchased from another vision store. They were fine until I accidentally sat on one pair, seriously bending the frame. I took the bent frame into Visionworks and met a manager named Liz who offered to look at them for me. At first, they didn't appear to be repairable and since they were my own older frames, I resigned myself to buying a new pair. Even though I offered to buy new glasses, Liz continued to try and repair them, asking me if I would leave them with her. With nothing to lose, I said yes. I got a call a few days later telling me that my glasses were fixed (at no charge) and I could pick them up! I am so impressed with Liz and her staff for repairing my old glasses even though they could have sold me a new pair. I will be a customer here forever now. read more

I made an appointment online and then received a confirmation. I arrived, filled out the paperwork and had about 10 minutes until my appointment. A very nice salesperson was able to assist with realigning my glasses that had become VERY crooked. They called me back on time and the assistant and doctor were both very personable. I was in and out in under 20 minutes. The whole process was smooth. They also offer an option to take a photo of the back of the eye and the doctor reviewed the photos with me. They did try to sell me glasses but when I stated that I wasn't interested in purchasing today, they gave me my script and I was out the door. Okay, so this review is one year and eight months late. In April of 2019 my old and only pair of glasses broke. The very next day family pictures were scheduled. So I went to Visionworks because I remembered that way back in the day you could get same day or next day glasses. I went in and picked frames that I liked and got glasses and everything came out beautifully and I was really happy. Most importantly, I was able to leave that day with a complete pair of glasses. The second pair I ordered came in a few weeks later and we're also very nice. That night I remembered where I had stashed some frames that I really liked, and I brought those in the next morning as soon as the doors opened. The people at Visionworks filled those lenses on an older pair of frames immaculately and I was able to wear my favorite glasses a half hour later at family pictures!! I've worn glasses all my life and am a Las Vegas local. I say this because in my past I have tried to get glasses many places in the valley; at a big warehouse store and they did not look good and even a local eyewear place was unable to cut the glass nicely. That has been my experience with my preferred type of glasses, which is the half rim. Many eyewear places use an outside lab - Visionworks is very old school and uses their own lab. The skills they have are meticulous. I went in the store several times for adjustments on the glasses and was always treated cordially. The people working here were phenomenal and the glasses themselves are absolutely great almost two years later. I'm going again this year to get some more glasses. read more

The first time I came here a year ago my experience was wonderful. Coming back this time my experience was HORRIBLE. My appointment felt very driver thru experience. Get me out as quick as they could. Then I got called to come back to try contact brands. The person on the phone told me they didn't make appointment for the weekend. Yet when i came to the weekend appointment everyone checking in was asked if they had an appointment and everyone said yes. Since they told me they didn't take appointments on the weekend i showed up early and WAITED FOREVER to see the doctor. Which I never did. Fast forward to an hour later, no one saw me and when I asked them about it they said I was next. But when they tried to take me in they told me there were no rooms open. At this point I was over waiting. I left. To which after several minutes they called me and I told them I wouldn't be back. And they made me come back and return the contacts I was trying. I will NEVER COME BACK NOR WILL I REFER ANYONE TO THIS establishment. read more

I've been coming to this location for my eye exam for over 10 years. Never had a problem, until yesterday! We ( my husband and I) arrived for our appointments at least 10 minutes early. We head to the reception area to sign in immediately behind a person who wants a "walk-in" appointment. We wait for 15 minutes and "walk -in" gets called back for an exam. We wait for another 10 minutes. Now past my appointment time and ready for my husband's appointment time and we're still waiting. When I try to talk to receptionist she gives me blank look and says she can have manager CALL me, there's no one there now. Needless to say I got a little irritated by the total lack of customer service. Why am I making appointments in advance if they mean nothing? I'm in the market for a new eye doctor. read more

Don't order any contact lenses over here. Tip ask for joe much your insurance will cover because they will not ask you with and without insurance prices. This is lacking in sales department! Also You will wait 3 weeks to get them according to the doctor office. I called 2 week later to see if the contact lenses came in. The person ask if I got a email or get messages stating my contact lenses arrived. I told the person no. 5 minutes on hold ohh they came in! It was a horrible 1 1/2 wait time in a full lobby with very little chairs! I wis I was told that you plan to go with your minor child, be prepared to be seen in different rooms. They did not allow me to be seen in the same room as my 12 year old daughter. They did not have a reason as to why they follow this procedure. The reason why I schedule appointment with my child was so that she doesnt have to be in there alone...truly disappointed. That is concerning. I ordered 2 pairs of eye glasses. They were very good. Jessica was able to get them ready a good 24 hrs earlier than I previously told. When I went to pick them up, I they were just handed to me and goodbye. It was strange. There was no one there to make sure that the fitting was ok. I went back a week later and was help by Jhing P. She was most apologetic when she heard my story. She proceed to have me put them on, did the adjustments that was needed. I was able to see perfectly from my clear, distance lenses. I would strongly recommend seeing Jhing if you ever have a problem with needed adjustment. She was very pleasant and extremely helpful. read more

I easily made my appt online when I got there we had to wait a little due to walk ins....had eye exam. It was quick. Went put and ordered glasses with ease. Waited 2 weeksnand got my glasses. I have been in 3 times since and everytime I tell them about a lens that is loose and glasses too tight on my temple it leaves an imprint and headaches. That part was fixed. However glass in right lenses is shifty They say they tripled check before sending out yet sent an I'll fitting lenses anyways which is obvious when picking up to clean. I live 20 to 30 mon away and can't keep coming in to fix. Last time I came in I went into store instead of out in the mall , because the outside where they fit your new glasses is dark. I wanted them to see just how much of an indent was in my temple area. They mentioned next time if I come in, to go outside where they fit glasses. I explained exactly why I came in. I wanted them to see how much of an indent there was. This place doesnt fit new glasses or feel around your ear to see where the problem is. 1st place I have been to that does that. So probably why I have had to go back so many times. I am mentioning this because i think the area you have people pick up there glasses could have better lighting. This is for the clinic - Called to order contacts as i am out, i got my eye exam done with this facility the girl said i can't order because the system has been down for two weeks! I asked if there was any other way to get my prescription she said no, i asked if their is another facility where i could get my prescription she said no, i asked when will the system be back up as i have no more contacts left she said i have no idea. Not one effort in helping, i asked for her manager and she said "she won't be here all week love" This used to be a nice clinic and now the staff has no professionalism and not helpful at all. What is one suppose to do when they have my prescription on file and now is not accessible to my needs?? Not to mention my insurance only covers for one exam per year and since they can't access my prescription i now am obligated to pay out of pocket for a whole new exam for their lack of record keeping?? read more

I am writing for the doctor's office. I have always gone to Lens Crafters but since my insurance recently changed, I had to go here. I had 3 different appointments just to get my astigmatism corrected and was seen by 3 different doctors. I had the worse migraines the first week with the first doctor, same thing with the second doctor, until I finally got my old prescriptions from lens crafters since they couldn't get my vision corrected. 1 to 2 weeks of migraines. Then, when I ordered my contacts the lady at the front desk was just beyond rude, she wasn't helping at all. She was very misleading and not understanding where I was coming from. They had me call my insurance to reverse a claim. It's been almost 3 months since I ordered my contacts and have not yet received them! I am so so frustrated and over this place. I have to say, I'm a procrastinator when it comes to my eyes. I don't go to the optometrist nearly as often as I should and I over order on my contacts to delay the inevitable trip to the eye doctor I have to make. On this occasion, I waited until last minute again. I was down to my very last pair of contacts when I needed to find an eye doctor asap! I have been to many different locations in the past and have never found a place that made me a loyal customer. Until now. My fella and I walked in midday on a Saturday and were lucky not to have to wait in line. Good timing, as a family of 5 popped in a few minutes after us. This was my fella's first time to an eye doctor, so he just wanted to make sure everything was still A-OK. I just needed a check up and a new contact and eyeglass prescription. Dr. Knisley was very friendly and so was all her staff. She spent extra time with me discussing other options for my contact needs, which I appreciated. She discussed all the pros and cons of all the options I was interested in and even suggested some other ones I hadn't thought. She gave me plenty of samples to try out to see which ones I preferred and a prescription for all of them as well. When it was time to pick out glasses the sales people were friendly and patient. I spent quite a few minutes perusing the racks looking for just the right frames for my face. Even my fella was getting bored. The checkout process was painless and they gave me several options to work out the best deal for my insurance and my pocketbook. I have a fantastic experience here and I think I just might have found an optometrist I can be loyal to. read more

Never again will I buy glasses for any of my kids at Visionworks. Every time I come in to get my children's glasses fixed, it's always a mystery as to where the protection plan is that I purchased. It takes about an hour just to figure this out even though this plan and the glasses were all bought at Visionworks. Their protection plan is also pretty terrible compared to Eyeglasses World where we also have purchased glasses. Every time something happens, they require $20. When we went to Eyeglasses World for the same issues with both frames, not only is there protection plan free every times, but they have my son a temporary frame and lenses to wear while both of his were getting fixed. I made my appointment at least 2-3 days ago online. I received a text confirmation, and an email confirmation for my appointment at 5PM today. I showed up at 4:50 because I figured I would have to fill out paperwork. The front desk woman asked if I made my appointment online and I said yes. She said, "oh we don't have any more appointments for today. We didn't accept it because we were already full." So, despite me making my appointment days ago, and confirming my appointment TWO different ways, it got rejected and they didn't inform me or even bother to offer to reschedule? Are you serious? Their optometry can't be that good if they can't even figure out their damn appointment system. Never coming here again. read more

I have been going to an eye doctor for 12 years now and this is by far the worst place I've been too. My appointment was at 2:00 I'm actually sitting in the office right now still waiting while it's currently 2:35. IF a company is running behind the decent thing to do is let your customers know with appointments that you're running late. It's lack of professionalism when I have to ask why you're running behind. Another thing, why do you allow a customer bring in there two dogs and let them run around the store? God forbid nobody is allergic! If you would like to see the dogs running around check the cameras around 2:30. When I told the ladies in front about how the should be more courteous to their customers she proceeded to say "I mean we're busy" I'm half this ladies age and I wouldn't even have answered that way. It was so unprofessional. My eyes have been irritating me for a week I left work because they said they had an appointment available at 2 more like 3. When I called I let them know that my glasses that I was wearing were old and that I needed to get them done right away. I explained the gentlemen that my prescription was not my last current prescription and then asked me "do you have ur current" I specifically called and let them know that. So they don't listen 1. And 2 they're incompetent of doing mainly everything. After that I was asked to sit in the lobby again and I've been sitting here for 20 minutes. Even had a whole conversation over the phone. However now that I know you treat your customers like this I will not refer anyone. My dad and I both wear contacts and glasses. We could of both been customers here especially since its close to our house but we'd rather drive 45 mins to a professional business establishment. Had an eye exam with Dr. Scott, who was amazing. He was very thorough and explained everything. Staff was friendly and efficient. My son had a contact lens fitting and that was good too. We went to the Optometry area for the glasses and Diane was exceptional. She was very knowledgeable about the insurance coverage and was so patient: it was an all around excellent experience. The Sales Associate, Liz, was helping us out. She was great in the beginning and helped me order my prescription glasses. However, when it came time to pick up, she had ordered the wrong pair. I needed the glasses in time for my vacation and unfortunately the glasses that she ordered were not to my liking. They had to order the original pair I wanted. This created a huge imposition as we live across town and could no longer use the glasses I wanted to wear on vacation. When it was time to pick up the second pair, Liz was again the associate to assist. She had no memory of initially meeting us. When I asked her if she heard what happened, all she said was "oh,I'm not that concerned." No apology whatsoever about the huge inconvenience that she had made upon her customers. Im not sure how long she has been working there but her display of unprofessionalism is profound. I do not think I will return to Visionworks after this horrendous ordeal. read more
