She walked me through the frames covered by my insurance and also showed me designer options I could choose by paying the difference or applying my insurance discount. I was honestly surprised by how decent the selection was for the insurance-covered frames--plenty of stylish choices! Gave email address for results to be provided to my endo in person. Still not done from January. If you take pride in your eye care. Stay away from this location. Excellent Service at Pearle Vision on Rampart! Everyone was so helpful -- from the Liz to Sam and Dr. Mao. The entire team is incredibly efficient; I was in and out within an hour! It's September 3, 2024 at about 3:00 pm. We walked in without an appointment and was greeted by many happy and friendly people. The wait was about 10 minutes because our visit was more medical than just an eye exam. This place has lots of free parking and the area outside as well as inside was very clean. Everyone was so very kind and helpful. The doctor did seem rushed but did answer all our questions. A very busy place with many people to serve you. I visited this location a couple of weeks ago, and it exceeded my expectations. My previous eye exam location closed, and this new place is even closer to home. The service was impeccable, and the environment was clean and welcoming. My eye exam was thorough, and Dr. So explained the results in detail. I give them zero stars. My husband went in to have his glasses adjusted. He purchased them on 3/8/24. While they were adjusting them, they broke the frame on the bridge of his nose and the lens popped out. Since the frame is discontinued, they will not take responsibility for replacing it. I spoke to the store manager and got nowhere. She said that it's wear and tear from using them and oils on your face, and we live in Las Vegas. My husband has had them for just 1 year and 3 days! We will never purchase glasses there again since you can't get them adjusted when needed. Customer service is ZERO! You would think that their staff would know how to make mild adjustments. For the life of me, I can't understand why businesses hire idiots or don't train their staff properly. My girlfriend went in for an exam. The dumbasses at the front desk tried to say it wasn't covered because she had an astigmatism. I literally just got an exam done with the same insurance at another location... and I have astigmatisms in both eyes. They literally could have simply called the insurance. It's 100% covered. They could have called corporate to confirm. Incompetent fools work at this location. Highly suggest customers go to another location where someone has an IQ over 70. read more

The moment I walked in my appointment started off rocky. Waiting room was full and many people standing around. Had to wait in my car which was fine. They tried to upsell me on something better than having my eyes dilated. I looked it up while waiting in my car and everything that I read said that dilation was the Gold standard. So I explained that I no longer wanted that part of the test and would like to have regular dilation as part of my exam. Well no one dilated my eyes and around 5:35 pm or later, after I asked, the doctor said we can dilate your eyes now. Well it takes awhile for the drops to fully dilate your eyes and I didn't want to do it when it was nearing 6pm. I got the prescription and bought glasses elsewhere and the prescription is NOT correct. So now I have to wait 2 more months to get a proper exam with dilation. This has to be one of the worst eye places ever. Don't waste your time and money as I did. read more

SO Glad to be Done with the Windmill location and my glasses purchase! Probably mutual on both sides for completion of a confusing, misleading initial offering of multiple sets of glasses as a bogo/bonus program; forcing me to file a freeze eon funds with my credit card company. The manager did step in and take a bit of time to make the deal as was, back to original for 1 set of Oakley glasses. Upon pickup of glasses was no cleaning until requested, no "Try to read this please" for check of end R/X, checking of adjustment on face, unless I asked for. No Oakley glass cases on hand, they are "Out of them, can call you when they come in" I passed, said didn't care about the case. I attempted to add to my prior review but noticed reviews were taken down, including the other 9 negatives I printed out for this location, all similar in complaint topics. For a Positive; my R/X is ideal, compared to my prior that did not allow wearing glasses at the computer. I like my Oakley glasses. Pearle Vision really need to try to assist their customers a little more. I asked if I could have the paperwork to take home and fill out for my husband and was told they didn't have any which is not true. What if you can't fill out paperwork online. I couldn't fill them out online for myself so I had to sit in office and fill out the application and it would have been a lot faster if I could have gotten the packet beforehand. Also I think it is so awful to receive the cheap ugly eyeglass cases with my new 3 pairs of glasses. Pearle Vision please get it together your glasses are not cheap so you need to offer your customers better cases. read more

I needed to find a new doctor after switching insurance and am, honestly, very happy I had to change after having my first appointment here at Pearle Vision Rampart With Dr. Martin. The young lady at the front desk was informative and pleasant, letting me know what would and wouldn't be covered by insurance and answering any other questions I had. The eye techs were quick with the tests, answered any questions I had plus they were very pleasant as well. Dr. Martin was great! She was very pleasant, patient and answered any questions. The young lady who helped me check out was also very helpful, informative and pleasant! Overall, everyone at the office was pleasant, informative, and helped me have a great experience. When I received my contacts prescription I noticed and commented that it was under corrected by 100 in one eye and 75 in another. The "Doctor" explained that was correct. I had been struggling with my vision ever since I got the new contacts. I kept taking the contact out two or three times and day because I thought there was a film over my contacts and that was causing my blurry vision. It's was my fault to let it go on this far but I just assumed the doctor was correct and something was wrong with my eyes. I finally figured out it and checked on my old pair of contact and notice the huge difference in my prescription.i made another appointment. The front desk explained that because it had been 3 months I was passed the 30 days guarantee that I would be billed again. But I would only have to pay the $10 copay. Well that was not the case. They wanted to charge me $75 plus the $ 130 they were getting from my insurance. It quite business model charge $200 and then the customer comes back 3 months later because of poor service and then charge them another $200. Avoid this business at all cost. read more

Me & my husband always go to LensCrafters and I dunno what got into me why I decided to try Pearle Vision for a change. The doctor here was great and the one who assisted me in choosing the glasses was so patient and kind. Whoever, I didn't feel comfortable when I came back to pick up my glasses and was asked to wait outside. I was surprised when they brought the glasses out for me to try when they could have accommodated me inside with proper social distancing like their other customers considering it is relatively hot outside. Suffice it to say, it took a village for her to be screened and examined. The staff and the Dr. went above and beyond. They treated my Mom with care and dignity. I cannot thank them enough. If I could give this place a zero I would. They up charge their butts off. I was charged $45 for contact fitting (ok fine that's normal) then they said if you have a toric lenses it a extra and 45-80$$$ PLUS you have NO CHOICE in the matter if you want a EXTRA $30 OR $20 BACK OF THE EYE EXAM?! WTF IS THAT? So to get my daughter back into contacts it cost me $105 PLUS THE EYE EXAM FEE. When I said I was unable to pay they said ok let me talk to the dr, he was not having the fact that I was unemployed and couldn't pay the fee and kept pressuring us to find the money. Point of the story, they dont let you know upfront when you call to make a appointment, I was told this is the only Pearl Vision that charges like that, and the dr had NO PERSONALITY, when he spoke to us, and if we asked questions it was like he was reading out of a text book. No small talk, nothing. I feel horrible for the sweet ladies that work there, the dr's there are so tight and money hungry that it probably effects their pay. The office staff was great.
