The place is very welcoming. Everyone there is nice and helpful. The place is really clean. My dr was very thorough. She answered all of my questions. And even suggested a few things I could try for my dry eyes. They even have a warm eye compress that is less than what I could get on Amazon for. I highly recommend them to everyone. read more

This place was the go to when they first opened. Unfortunately, the customer service at Advanced Eyecare has been going downhill for years. I've had so many negative experiences, and each time I get a call from a manager promising they'll turn things around. Today, I called to schedule my annual eye exam and was told the earliest date was in three hours or five weeks. The lady on the phone was cold from the start. Not even an attempt to apologize for the inconvenience of having to wait five weeks to see any eye doctor. Might as well save money by having AI receptionists if the humans act like robots. I should've trusted my gut and switched providers years ago. Shame because the doctors here are great. Whoever runs the business/staffing/frames is not; and that's unfortunately the sides of the house patients deal with the most. read more

I honestly think they took the best people on earth and put them altogether at Advanced Eye Care. From the people who answer the phones to the doctors and everyone in between, they are truly the kindest and more caring group of individuals. My appointments are always great, but today I had to go for what I thought was a detached retina. Everyone was so empathetic and took the time to answer all of my questions, even though they squeezed me in. I left with good news and feeling relieved. I would never hesitate recommending Advanced Eye Care to anyone. read more

I've been going to this place for years. I love the people and I'm faithful to any place I connect with. But.. they need an upgrade on their eyewear. They have better glasses at Walmart. The amount of time I've been going there hasn't been 1 remodel . D Michelle & Karen are the reason I keep going back. Not just me though my whole family gets their glasses here. Been to this location twice over the years and was extremely happy that , what I thought was a competent business , I finally found a eyecare place that I liked . Due to my schedule I've attempted to make an appt 3 times using there website with no response from anyone at this business . Oh well , sad to . Seeing how in today's economy you would think businesses would want new and returning customers and not push them away . Well plenty of other eyecare facilities in this town ! read more

I needed to schedule an appointment for a second opinion on Glaucoma with Dr. Brian Miller. The woman I spoke on the phone said he had a couple of cancellations for today and tomorrow or he won't be available until Feb, 2023. I agreed to schedule for tomorrow. After we hung up, she called me back right away and said we needed to cancel the appointment because benefits for this year were already used up. I stopped her right there and told her I'm willing to pay out of pocket, $112 for exam. What a Big Deal?! She said plus extra for materials such as glasses or contacts. Clearly, she was not listening or understanding the reason I called or she wasn't knowledgeable about Glaucoma. I called another place and was assisted better. I was told didn't need to pay out of pocket & could use medical insurance since Glaucoma is a medical condition. So, I called back and cancelled my appointment with Advanced Eye Care. read more

I've been coming to this eye doctor for many years. Idk what happened but the quality went down significantly. My most recent visit was weird. There was a new doctor, not sure if he was interning. He kept saying key words such as" you can get these, but I don't care". If you don't care, then why are you doing my exam let alone anyone else's?? I had problems with my prescription and I called the front office more than 6 times during the hours of 12-5pm on a work business day. Not once did they answer the phone. They deliberately screen phone calls and don't answer. Do not go here if you don't want your time wasted and deal with childish employees. read more

New to town and WE HAVE FOUND OUR OPTOMETRIST! I found Advanced Eyecare from Yelp. Made the appointment with Dr. Brian Miller. On arrival I was greeted warmly by the front desk. Once taken to the back another pleasant employee did my pre- exam as we chatted a bit. Dr Brian is very warm & friendly, he puts you at ease, and has time for you. I didn't feel rushed. I felt like he was genuinely happy to have me as a patient. Had a through eye exam and I was happy to have found our optometrist and it's close to home too. My husband went in today and he shares the same feelings. My husband asked me if I had yelped the doctor. So here is my review. Excellent service & downright friendly folk. read more

I love this office and and all of the staff. Very caring and the dowas willing to take the time to listen to my needs! I have to say this place is super modern, clean, and just an overall amazing vibe right when you walk in through the door. I was expecting like a doctors office visit room when I made my appointment, but I definitely was taken back upon entering. I was greeted right away by the front desk, checked in and filled out paperwork quickly. I love that they have so much places to sit while you wait. I also love that they have a little kids corner with iPads and toddler activity toys. Definitely a win in my book since I had my two year old with me. The appointment itself was so quick. The tech that assisted me was so informative and made sure the machines for initial eye pictures were clean. The examination rooms are so big! They have a bench in the room for I guess anyone you bring. Again, so surprised how clean everything was. Dr. Sahba has wonderful bedside manners and was very thorough with the assessment. Picking out glasses was way over the top of my head especially for someone who has had 20/20 vision. I still have 20/20 but needed something to block out blue light and protect my eyes from the glare of screens because we all know we are on them too much. But the assistant was so helpful and informative and told me what insurance would cover and calculated everything for each glasses I had my eyes on. Thank you because I did not want to be stuck with an expensive bill. I do recommended calling to make an appointment because I'm not sure if they do get the online requests. But then again everything is quicker when you just call. I highly recommend! Clean, friendly, and affordable. read more

I'm still waiting 40mins for an appointment for an adjustment to fix some broken glasses. No communication or anything, I've witnessed multiple people go ahead of me who came in after me. Frustrating to say the least but they ordered me replacement frames for my glasses because they didn't have a certain replacement screw. Only downside is I have to wait a few weeks and go back to an old prescription until it comes in read more

Was seeing flashes in my eye while visiting Las Vegas, so I made appointment with Doctor Mark Miller. He performed a detailed examination for possible retina tear. Mark explained every step before performing them and gave results in an easy to understand way. I would definitely recommend Mark for your eye doctor read more

I had an eye exam with Mark Miller on 1/18/23. Took the persciption to costco to order a couple pair of glasses. When they came back the glasses made me dizzy and a little off balanced. I called to talk to the optometrist and was sent a text that said they would get back to me.....nothing. Went to another optometrist and he indicated that my left eye was way off, he gave me a new prescription and I ordered new glasses. I called to let them know what had happened (if I was an optometrist I would have wanted to know). The person on the phone was very obnoxious and insisted there was nothing they could do and hung up on me. They evidently do not take responsiblity for the exam. Stay clear of these guys. read more

My husband and I began going to Dr Brian Miller and Dr Mark Miller when they first started their business in the Home Depot Shopping Center. We lived in Alicante at the time, so they were close by. In 2014 we moved back to CA and lost touch. We moved back to NV in 2019 and moved to Henderson. We tried several optometrist in our area, but went back to Dr Brian Miller even though he is 36 miles away! I trust Dr Brian Miller and will continue to drive up to Durango Dr! He is professional, yet warm and caring. I would definitely recommend Advanced Eye Care! read more

Slow and terrible customer service. I'm the only one in the waiting group and some employees are chatting instead of helping the customers. Advanced eye care one of my to go to for eye care. Staff is friendly and attentive to your needs, professionalism and care definitely brings this place up to its almost-perfect standards to a tee. Doctors are knowledgeable, friendly and funny which makes experience less intimidating. I really enjoy the friendliness atmosphere this eye care displays. They will help with all kind of questions you may have about your prescription order or medical billing. They do their best to accommodate your needs. I love how you get text reminders of your appointment so be sure to give them your mobile information. Definitely give this place a try! read more

My husband brought my glasses for warranty work from Reno back to Las Vegas and the office was aware he was bringing them in for this. He went to drop them off to hear, you used your warranty on these glasses and nothing we can do. Also they were supposed to send a new glasses case home with him since the other case broke and was told, we don't have any case to give you. Really? We have come to this practice for a long time with the Miller brothers and had amazing service. Seems as if a lot has changed recently. Very sad to see. read more

Andrea Pham O.D. is amazing! She was super helpful with my teenage daughters eye care.

The front desk clerks were friendly and quick to greet me. I arrived 30 min early and got seen at my appointed time so I guess arriving early is advised. In the air blow test the assistant asked obvious questions such as "are you wearing contacts?" (Umm, I'm wearing my glasses rite now) followed by others. I then got sent back to the seating area and waited another 30min until finally seen by the same assistant as earlier, she questioned me more and then sent Ngo, Julie OD who asked the same questions as the assistant, I would of liked for there to be more communication between the two for the process to have been smoother and non-repetitive. Regardless, Ngo, Julie OD was very knowledgeable and informative. *I am an out of pocket patient so to others the same I will inform that they charge $105 for visit and as for me $40extra for a prescribed medication* That seemed a little outrageous to me as I did not go in for an eye exam neither did I get one, but being that I was anxious to be seen about a red eye I took a same day appointment. read more

**HIGHLY RECOMMEND** I've been super picky about my contacts this last visit and everyone has been great to accommodate me! I had to reschedule my appt about 3-4 times all last minute and the ladies up front were super nice. I bring my 4 yr old with me everywhere and they have a really neat kids play area while I waited to be seen. Going through the whole process my daughter was very inquisitive and the staff did not shun her. The were great with showing her and explaining what they were doing. They even gave her a bag of goodies. On my way out, I was in a huge rush and the staff that helped me order my contacts were informative and straight to the point. FACTS. I love facts. No smoke and mirrors. I didn't want to listen at first because I figured I'd order off 1-800 contacts. NOPE turns out the office was cheaper AND I was able to do it over the phone, pay, and had my new eyes shipped to my house. They are awesome here! Oh and let's not forget the Doctor. He's so kind and informative! Literally the best I've seen (and I've been wearing glasses since the 5th grade). I don't mind driving from Henderson to NW to get seen by them. Thumbs up!! read more

I didn't especially want to buy prescription sunglasses, but I am so glad that I did! Dr. Brian and his staff were absolutely warm and professional, which is something that doesn't seem to happen as much any more. I was always greeted with happy voices whenever I walked into the office. The experience was nearly effortless from the initial eye exam to receiving the glasses. Shellee was absolutely wonderful! She went above and beyond to make sure my glasses were delivered exactly as expected. They fit perfectly and they do exactly what I wanted them to do. Shellee really impressed me with how much effort she put into making sure my experience was perfect. Also, my glasses are amazing! I special ordered progressive lenses with a specific color for my Oakley Gas Fuel Cells. I mountain bike, go off-roading, and play golf. These glasses are exactly what I was looking for to give me better vision both near and far for my aging eyes. I recommend Advanced Eyecare to everyone! read more

My exam at Advanced Eyecare was extremely thorough. Everyone was professional but friendly. It was my first time there but if felt as if I was returning to a familiar place. The Doctor happily answered all of my questions. When it was time to pick glasses, Shellee sent me in one direction to select what I like, while she went in the other direction and picked a few she thought I might like. In the end I selected one of her picks that I probably would not have tried on if she had not suggested it. Thank you to everyone at Advanced Eyecare and a special thank you to Shellee. read more

Everything about my experience with Advanced Eyecare was positive. The highlight was finding out my insurance would cover my eye exam every 24 months. The staff at my previous Optometrist told me that my insurance did not cover me, and scheduled my appointment year after year, never nothing to check, for over 15 years. Same insurance all those years just a lazy staff. I suppose that my coverage may have changed over time, but I suspect it was just easier to get the money from me rather than from the insurance company. This one act of taking the time to find out if I had coverage has gotten Advanced Eyecare a customer for life. THANK YOU! read more

Back in May, I made the switch over to Advanced Eyecare from Kaiser Permanente in CA and can definitely say that my expectations have been exceeded. Dr. Wendy Nguyen has now seen me several times within the past few months due to an eye issue that arose - and I can without a doubt say that she is extremely caring, friendly, and truly wants the best for her patients. Through her active listening, she was not only able to identify the issue that was occurring with my eye but also helped lead me in the direction of finding a proper health diagnosis from my PCP due to my symptoms working in conjunction w/the eye issue.
