Dr. Graham is the nicest eye doctor I have EVER met. He is so sweet and gentle. The lady helping us was also extremely kind and helpful. We ended up with no co-pay due to our insurance and they had great deals on frames! We will definitely be making this our regular place to get glasses and have our exams done from now on! I had ordered four pairs of glasses from Zeelol, I accidentally entered my prescription wrong so of course I couldn't wear them, I contacted Zeelol and was instructed to send them back to receive my refund. Nice folks, quick service. Normally complex graduated lenses can be tricky to fit. Eyeglass World got it right on the first try.

The dr approved me for contacts by looking at my current glasses, I didn't think anything aloud it until wearing contacts and continually having problems with seeing far away and my eyes constantly drying up and causing irritation. I went and got a second opinion and the optometrist said that I am not a candidate for contacts, After a thorough exam , I Went back into eyeglass world and they said it's not their problem. The doctor here disagrees, I returned there contacts and left , absolutely no help, simply said to bad ! read more

Run Away from these hacks. Spend a little more and get a real pair of glasses, Cheap Materials, Real Junk. My eyesight was worst with the new glasses. I returned them but the exam portion is done by a separate company and they would not return my money. The service reps up front are really nice but they have no control of any other part of it. Jon (that is his name I think - Assistant Manager) is extremely helpful giving. me different options that my insurance can cover. explaining thoroughly. I used my old frames as they are barely used and both pairs returned back to name so polished. They even replaced. that rubber thing that sits on your nose!!!! I'm very happy with my whole experience in acquiring two new pairs of glasses..I already had a current prescription and went in to see if they offered many styles of frames..I did find some of what they call petite frames for small faces and purchased two pairs..the employee Jon was very helpful with my decisions and details of the order..the price was competitive with other like busineses... Came here on a whim after dropping dog off at grooming... very helpful staff! Received eye exam as walk in within 10 minutes on a Friday by the most sweet and delightful optometrist!!!! Also, The lady that helped me pick out glasses was so kind and patient with me and very helpful!!! It was a 2.5 hour stay so you know I was probably the indecisive customer but they were great!!! i went eyeglass world in clearwater,fl and order one pair of glasses on monday 11/27/2023 and was told by the rep glasses would be ready on friday,12/01/2023. it is now 01/03/2024 and i still don't have the glasses nor any idea of when i will get them. all i am told is that they are on "back order". no one from eyeglass world has contacted me for the past two weeks. i have to call them to get another sorry they are on back order. if you need glasses i strongly urge you to find another provider, anyone other this company!!!!! read more

I went to eyeglass world near cleawater mall, was pretty good until my husband and I went to pick up our glasses, customer service at this point was lacking, the clerk did not do anything to check to see if the glasses fit comfortably, look to see if they sat straight, check to see if they needed adjusting, tightening etc. feel like we were rushed out and not given the proper final part of leaving with new glasses. read more

I broke my glasses. The lenses were ok but the frame was shot. I called a couple of places and they said they could not help Me. Went to a smaller optical store but they didn't have a lot of frames in stock so they couldn't help me. I called Eyeglass World and the we're Willing to help and said come on in to see what they could do. Within one minute of walking in they were trying to find a frame that would match my lens size. They did. I did not have my eye care insurance card with us. At home in Illinois, but since I am retired Military, they were kind enough to give me a nice discount. We needed an eye appointment asap. They could have gotten us in the same day but my husband opted for next day as it was already past 5 pm. We went early and they were able to fit us in. We are self pay clients so the eye exam including dilation was $79. They gave us a script and we went out front. Picked out a nice pair of Oakley glasses for $99. 2.5 hours later the glasses were ready. And MAN, do they make all the difference. Staff were friendly and professional. Made a SAME DAY appointment and came in around 5:35 for my 5:45. Amy had already pulled my insurance (based on my name and number) and was all ready for my exam when I arrived. Dr. Sarah and Amy answered all of my million and a half questions with enthusiasm and passion. They both really made me feel great about my first eye exam in 9 long years. After Dr. Sarah wrote my script I went out front where Ivonne and Veronica took amazing care of me. They very quickly helped me pick out and customize my glasses with anti-glare coating and warranty information. I left around 7pm. My glasses were rest for pickup by noon the next day! I came in and Veronica helped me again. She remembered me, grabbed my items and even repaired my sunglasses (lost a screw) for me! What a gem this place is!! I showed up first thing in the morning to have an adjustment done to my glasses. I got to the store about 15 minutes prior to their 9AM opening time. I saw an employee walk in, so I figured I could sit inside to wait. I went in and was helped right away. Went there for the first time today. Had an appointment for 10 am and got there early and was taken right way. A girl named Karen did all of the preliminary work and was great. My optometrist was Dr. Herring and she was very good. One of the most best and most detailed exams I have ever had. I have been going to the eye doctor for the last twenty years and this is by far the WORST place I have ever been. The reseptsonsist had no clue what she was doing - she messed my vision insurance up and I had to call my insurance company to fix it because she REFUSED to help me. The machines to test my eyes, the lady could not figure out how to work correctly and we had to keep redoing the tests. When the doctor came in, he made me keep my mask on which fogged up the machine to determine my prescription so the exam was conducted in a wrongful manner. I told him that I could not see out of it because it was foggy and he could care less. Not only was the doctor very old (they say wisdom comes with age, but not in this case), but he did not explain anything to me as previous eye doctors have. I could not see the picture of my eyes that they took and I was unaware of my new prescription. Additionally, the computer system seemed to be down or acting wonky, which I know is out of their control but added to the TERRIBLE visit. I doubt my prescription is correct and I will NOT be returning. read more

When I first went to Eyeglass World I figured when you can get 2 pair of glasses for $78 there has to be some catch but there wasn't! The eye exam I got was so thorough I was even able to get the peripheral evaluation for diabetes. The glasses are exactly as promised and even though they have all the extras, they offer them but never push you or pressure you. I just went again for my third time and the manager, Doni, remembered me and even tightened my sunglasses that I had gotten there. I have friends that have spent tons more money but for the money I got exactly what I wanted and my glasses were ready in an hour. Gabby took the time to deal with my insurance company and was so patient and helpful. Thank you to Doni and her staff for actually being a company that keeps their promise! read more

Wow This place is wonderful. I have a serious eye problem. My glasses usually cost 300 dollars. I bought 2 pairs for 125 with extra's. Love this place already came back with a additional customer.
