We have been seeing all the Drs at St Michaels since 2021 for my husband. They are like family. I…read morewas so impressed with all their work with my husband I had my records transferred I only see Dr Luis. I did see Dr John post op. Dr Luis genuinely cares about your health and well being and comfort. He performed the vivity surgery plus took cataracts out in both eyes plus laser to get my pressure down in one eye to prevent glaucoma. I am very pleased with the outcome. I have been wearing glasses, contacts for many many many years and started first grade with a patch on my eye. This office is family oriented and actually staffs all Dr John's family to include his wife. They all care about their patients. You always feel they are always there for you! For starters, we have Teodore who I see every time for my husband and now for myself. He is very professional and welcomes you like he's known us a long time. For my husband,we saw all the docs including Dr Plous the retina specialist. My three week process truly was seamless and smooth Joseph is one of the techs that is very passionate about his career and very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain what a cataract is and what it looks like. Very detailed and educational. I met one of Dr Luis's sisters who is very good and very nice that took X-rays. Then Eleni my counselor to set the surgeries up and she actually helped me with my decision prob doesn't know this. The whole staff are wonderful. Morgan and others. I saw Dr John post op. Great doc I must mention Dane. He's retired and been there 7 years. He is the surgery center and practice courier and go to person between both sites. You will see him all over. Linda and Leah are very professional and Linda is a true veteran for getting ready for anesthesia and assisting the others that are RNs but not quite veterans. Leah assisted in the OR. I think Scott and Leah must be the surgeons right hands. Leah quiet at least with me but very nice. Scott is awesome. He is very knowledgeable and passionate and totally keeps your mind focused elsewhere instead of getting stressed. Asset to the surgeons for sure. Director of nursing. Thank you to the docs and their entire staff and medical staff. I highly recommend this practice.

This isn't the first time they screwed something up. I called to verify an appointment before and questioned the location but of course the location was wrong. Also when they were doing construction I checked in and waited over hour and a half. When I go to check they had "forgotten" about me. If they can't get the easy stuff right can they get the hard stuff right? Your fired.

I did not need glasses before surgery. St Lukes told me I had to choose if I wanted to see for distance or for reading. People I knew in the past who had cataract surgery said they never needed glasses again so I was confused by this. St Lukes said if I paid approx. $4000 an eye it would cover both distance and reading but my insurance only paid for one or the other. I opted for distance due to eye doctor and doctor at St Lukes saying I needed this done or I may shortly be unable to see good enough to drive. After I had surgery done I had to get glasses to read. I had itching and discomfort with eyes after surgery which I never had before and was told to keep using eye drops for dryness. Since then and up to today, I have spots before my eyes, "rings" which obstruct my vision and constant watering, itching and eye discomfort. I am so sorry I did NOT refuse to have surgery or maybe at least only had one eye done. I still hear other say how great their surgery was that was done at another company and wish I could go back and checked out other places. This has been very hard to type even with my glasses on due to the "rings" and spots. I DO NOT recommend this facility as all they seem to care about is money. As cataract surgery can not be done again, I know this is my life from now on and it is very depressing.
