Everyone was friendly and helpful. As a heads-up, look at your receipt before you sign it because they tried to sneak in a somewhat pricey warranty. The electronic followup was very good. confirmed that they are in-network with my insurance company only to be told--after driving in traffic to make it here early as requested by them--that they were going to charge me $80-100 for a contact lens fitting that my level of coverage, in-network, pays in full. they could not explain why they wouldn't cover this, since they *are* in-network, they just told me they were going to charge me and i could take it up with insurance for a reimbursement check if i wanted. it's ridiculous they think they can pick and choose what in-network services they feel like covering, and they don't even communicate that over the phone when i specifically asked. definitely planning on calling insurance to inform them of this. i would look elsewhere before wasting your time here. read more

I just ordered new glasses from this store late December (2022). The gal that waited on me was very helpful. I wasn't really greeted when I walked in but that was ok- I wanted the time to look at the selection of glasses. At the time their hours were posted as opening at 9a (so I first came there then). Glad to see they've updated their hours online! I'm to pick up my glasses today (1/9/23) so will update this review if there are any problems but I don't expect any. read more

I picked up my glasses from Vision Works today. When I was there the employee who helped me did nothing to check if the glasses were fitting in the proper way. When I got into my car and looked in my car mirror I noticed that the glasses were crooked. They were lower than my eyebrow on one side and higher on the other side. Fortunately I was able to adjust them myself. In the past at other eyeglass retailers the employee took care of that before I left. Then when I started driving I discovered that I could not read the street names on my GPS. I can clearly read them with my older glasses from a different retailer and my prescription has not changed. I do not recommend Vision Works and will never get glasses from them again. read more

I was also quoted one price for the exam over the phone and when I got back to the first exam room was told that the price of the exam would be DOUBLED because I was getting contact! I forgot to ask them, but when I came back to pick up sunglasses, I thought of questioning them. Went for the 2 pairs for $89 deal. It's a great deal if you need the slightest of vision correction. If you have the need for "thicker" lenses but don't want coke bottle glasses, you have to go with the polycarbonate lenses which adds to the price. If you want "transitions" lenses it's more again. So the original price is great to get you in the door, but be prepared to shell.out way more money. As for the staff, they are very friendly and knowledgeable, the store is clean and well organized. The eye doctor was explaining the tests she was doing as well. All in all a good place read more

I don't know if I caught them on an off day, but my service was not very good. I went to pick up my new glasses. The frames were very loose so I needed them adjusted. The person seemed a little annoyed that they needed to be adjusted a few times before the were correct. Then the progressive lenses needed to be adjusted. I was told the person who could do that was out to lunch and to come back in 20 min. I told her I would just wait, it was not a big deal to for me to wait. When the person came out to adjust the lenses, she seemed to know what needed to be done. But once the adjustment was corrected she just walked away. She left an open case on the counter for the new glasses. I was not given a cloth or spray nor a thank you for my 600.00 purchase she just left! read more

I was having issues with my eyes and a reaction to contact lenses for a few months before I came in and saw Dr Dao. She did a proficient exam and weighed out different options I could take to help with my reaction. First she prescribed me a steroid drop and gave me a 5 day supply of daily contact lenses. The steroid drop worked successfully and I now have a years supply of daily contact lenses ! (I was wearing monthly contacts prior) What a relief! This is the worst place to do business! If I could give it a minus rating I would! First I was herded through my eye exam, then it got even worse! I was told I had no insurance coverage but they would give me an even better deal than my insurance coverage. This is supposed to be an in network supplier. The person trying to SELL ME said he would give me a 40% discount from the over $700 retail price if I paid cash right then. I left and contacted my insurance company. They were quite interested that an "In Network " supplier would do this! I went to America's Best and even though they are not In Network gave me a very equitable price on a very quality glasses package. Much lower than offered by the "In Network" supplier Vision Works . This place rips you off and treats you like crap! America's Best will be where I and my wife will go from now on. read more

For third year in a row, went back to Visionworks in Seminole, Fl for my exam and glasses. Dr. Case was very good but the salesperson tried selling me $139. frames for 20% discount when I have insurance with a $125. benefit on frames. They tried to tell me insurance changed to where that benefit is only for "Tier 1" frames. Went home, called insurance company and said they must be making up their own rules. They are not abiding by their contract and I called the store back and spoke with the manager, John. I told him what my insurance company said and asked if he would honor it and he said "No"! They are a bunch of thieves who do not want to honor their contracts with insurance companies. Shame on them. read more

There is a new doctor there now since the last time I went and he was good, quick appointment, in and out. No problems at all. I do gotta say, Rochelle and Cindy are AMAZING employees!! They have gone above and beyond to help me when I was having trouble ordering my contacts. They were SO helpful and kind and really took the time to make sure I was taken care of...even over a two week period!! If you go there, ask for either one of them. They deserve no stars. This place is awful. My appt was at 5:30pm. They didn't apologize, they just kept lying with 5 more mins 5 more mins. Then Dr. Parrish gave me attitude for being upset for waiting so long and touched my purse to move it without asking. Honestly just go to a mall or a discount vision place of you want this find of service. My total service time was 10 mins for an eye exam, which he didn't even stay the whole time,so I don't understand the being late, 124 for a contact exam. read more
