First time today 1/12/25. I should have trusted my instincts and walked out. I walked in and sat…read moredown. No one acknowledged my presence until it was time for me to sit in a chair. As I waited I read the sign with services offered. It said $15 for eye brow threading. I did think it was strange, maybe it was outdated prices since I'm used to paying $20 in Capitola and Watsonville. Anyway, it took her 10 mins to clean up my brows and I was charged $28. I was a little thrown off since it was a $13 price difference. The service was horrible. My eyebrows just needed to be cleaned up but instead she took way too much of my hair that fills in and blends with my micro blading. I was not happy. Figured I'll just pay never to come back. Please look at reviews before trusting someone with your brows. Wish I had.

NICOLE IS AWESOME I debated between 4 and 5 stars. I went…read morewith 5 because at the end of the day, my lashes look great. I've only had them on for 4 days, so I can't speak on the longevity of Nicole's work, but I can tell you that I'm really happy with the way they look. The only reason I considered 4 stars is because the shop is very plain. There are no bells or whistles... and I'm OK with that because Nicole does great work. I'm very picky about my lashes. I've been getting lash extension since 2008, so I'm not a rookie. I used to get my lashes done is San Jose and Los Gatos. The techs there are skilled and there seems to be a lash salon on every corner. We moved to Marina 2 months ago, and I was bummed that I couldn't find a good lash person in Monterey or Carmel. The quality of work just wasn't was I was used, especially for the price. Driving to San Jose for fills was becoming such a pain, so I decided to try Nicole based on the Yelp reviews. Here's what I like: Nicole is friendly and clean. I liked the fact that I could smell hand sanitizer (or soap) on her hands. She uses good products. I can't remember the lash size she used, but they were soft to the touch and perfect for my eyes. They are thick enough to be seen, but not so thick that they weigh my eyelids down or look like I'm wearing falsies. The glue she used didn't both me (sometimes during allergy season, I can be extra sensitive to the glue). Nicole is fairly quick. I think it took an hour for a fill. Now understand, this was the first time I saw Nicole. She was doing a fill on someone else's work, so I think an hour is pretty decent. Nicole's prices are reasonable, especially for the end result. What I really like and appreciate about Nicole is that she is REALLY gentle. I have an extra-sensitive lash line, and she never once made me flinch. There was no pulling or yanking of my old lashes. I could actually relax and enjoy my time on the table.
