**updated below Overall nice people. Have been happy with their work. But they are LATE opening all the time. Almost every Sunday that we have come they open late. I see the woman pull up well after 11 because I am sitting in my car waiting. This time I called and the excuse is they have no power. "Only have lights in the back". ????? Both stores on either side have power. And there is no one inside the store at all!! She said it would be 15 minutes. I waited because I don't live in Salinas. And guess what. 20+ minutes late she finally pulls up and unlocks the front door and flips the light switch on. LIAR! **no longer go here. Last straw... walked up around 7pm, posted hours are till 7:30, turned away. One customer in the chair and 2 of the ladies were working that night. It takes less than 5 minutes!?? This review is only about their mehendi/henna. They may claim to use all natural paste but it is not. It contains harmful chemicals, possibly P.P.D. (found in hair dye) that can cause severe reactions and scarring. Real all natural henna paste should not have a reddish tinge & should not look like gel. The quality of work is very poor. They advertise very nice designs but I have yet to see them reproduce anything that even resembles the pictures they have on their flyers. That seems like false advertising to me. The ladies are very nice but after learning more about mehendi/henna and attending conferences solely about the art of mehendi/henna, I came to realize the paste they use is harmful and they should practice a whole lot more if they're going to be charging for this service. read more

Decided to give this place another try, she had me sit and was done in less than two minutes then tried to tell me I had to keep coming back to clean it up & talked me into buying the membership. The other place I go to doesn't take less than 5 minutes & she takes her time trimming and tweezing my brows. I went in for major help with my eyebrows and let me say they're very friendly. I walked in and she was helping someone else but acknowledge the fact I was there letting me know she would be with me soon. After five minutes she got done and started to help me. She was very nice and did an awesome job. When it came to paying I had a 100 dollar bill which I felt bad since she had no change but was very nice to let me go change it myself next door which surprise me bc ppl don't usually let you run off like that. I've been a loyal customer for at least a year & a half. The business first started in Gilroy where I would commute from Salinas bi-weekly to get threaded. Once they opened up a new shop in Salinas, I was ecstatic. I only trust the two owners with my brows. They are kind, personable, & know what they're doing. They are aware of how the shape of an eyebrow should look so I'm not at all worried about them leaving my brows bushy, or pencil thin! Threading stings a bit, for those who have yet to try it, but it's much healthier for the hair follicles than wax. You eventually get used to it & the hair becomes lighter & thinner making the sting easier to deal with each time. What I love most about Perfect Brow is that they offer memberships so you're welcome to come as many times as you want in the span of 3 months for one flat rate depending on what you get threaded most (ie: eyebrows, upper-lip, full face, etc.) I absolutely love this place & would not dream of going anywhere else. read more

This is a very unprofessional studio the worker was on the phone making a personal call while threading me brows and was distracted. She left a huge gap on my eyebrows that just needed cleaning no shape at all.
