She looked at my reference picture once but when the nails didn't look like the photo, she didn't even want to look at the photo again. I thought that was weird. But I let her work until I couldn't take it anymore. I had to continue correcting her, so I straight up told her to use the refer photo. I wasn't even asking for anything unusual. I asked for Gel X, Stiletto nails in a natural color with a white line in the middle. Do you know the nails started coming off two days later!?!?! I was literally at the airport for my birthday trip livid. A nail came off each day after that...until all the nails had fallen off within 1 week! I've been getting my nails done for decades but this was by far the worst experience. Total, I paid $135 (includes tip) for a gel pedicure and Gel X stiletto nails. A week later, all I have to show for it is a pedicure...

I asked for her to shape my eyebrows since it's been about a month and a half since I last got them done. They are incredibly uneven and she took a huge chunk out of the bottom of my eyebrow. I commented on it and she tried to play it off like it had always been there. I spend a good amount of time during my morning routine on my eyebrows so I know the shape and hairlines intimately. That bald spot was not there. Terrible job and even more disappointed that she couldn't accept responsibility.

They have it broken up into two rooms. One room is a waiting room, and the other room is where they do the threading. There was two ladies at the time, one behind the counter and one doing the threading. The place is pretty small and simple, nothing fancy. If you want to get a quick threading and you're local this place will meet at your needs. Its 12 bucks for the threading but I had a living social deal so it only cost me 6. Since this place is just down the street from my house I'll definitely be back! They were really friendly and there was no wait or anything.

If I could give this salon zero stars or negative stars, I would…read more I'm writing this review with deep frustration and anger after what was honestly one of the most disappointing and deceptive salon experiences I've ever had. Before coming in, I called the salon specifically to ask if they offered Japanese hair straightening. I was told yes, and based on that confirmation, I came in. When I arrived, I informed the staff that I was the one who had just called about Japanese hair straightening and was told to come in. They sat me down, evaluated my hair, and told me it would be $350. I explicitly confirmed--again--that this would be for Japanese hair straightening, and asked if it could be done that day. They said yes, so I agreed to the price and the service. But halfway through the process, I noticed something wasn't right. They were clearly not doing Japanese straightening. When I asked what they were doing, I was told they were "sealing the keratin into my hair"--which is not part of the Japanese hair straightening process. I repeatedly asked if this was keratin treatment or Japanese straightening, and was only met with vague reassurances like, "Don't worry, we're doing what you asked." At the end, I was visibly upset and told them this was not the service I asked for or agreed to. At that point, they handed me the phone to speak with the owner, who tried to convince me that Japanese hair straightening is "only done on Asian hair." Had I been told that upfront, I obviously never would have come in or agreed to the service. She then claimed they used a "new version" of Japanese hair straightening, which apparently didn't require a neutralizer--something I know from experience is completely false. I didn't want to argue, I just wanted to leave. But before I could finish paying, they handed me the phone again, and the owner completely changed her story. This time, she said I had never asked for Japanese straightening--only that I wanted my hair "straightened." She even claimed the salon would have preferred to upsell me the Japanese treatment if I had been clearer. That's outrageous, because not only did I clearly ask for Japanese hair straightening multiple times, but just a few moments earlier, she was trying to convince me that was what I received! It's honestly insulting to be lied to and gaslit like that. I've never experienced anything like it--agreeing to a specific service, getting something completely different, and then having the owner twist the facts to blame me. To top it off, she told me I'd love the keratin treatment and would want to come back. After this experience? Absolutely not. This salon has lost all credibility with me, and I strongly urge others to think twice before trusting what they say on the phone or in person. What I experienced was dishonest, manipulative, and unprofessional.
