Afterwards, I checked out threading places in Yelp because I desperately needed to have my full face threaded - eyebrows, upper lip, the works - before my birthday celebration. I saw the positive reviews for Eyebrow Image and stopped by. They received me as a walk-in and Isha was my threading artist. She is AMAZING!!! My eyebrows are perfectly shaped and she was super gentle when threading the rest of my face. I would DEFINITELY come back - I may even drive the extra 20 minutes to see her for my next service! I have super sensetive skin and can't wax so threading is perfect. I'm also a very picky when it comes to my eyebrows, and Jackie gets them just the way I like them. She is fast and attentive. Been going to her for years, I've even recomended many of my clients and coworkers to her. They love her too. There are only 3 things for me to complain about. 1. They are walk in only, so there is often a long wait. 2. The customer service can use an update. They basically ask you to sign in, have a seat, wait, then ignore you until it's your turn. I wish they would be more hospitible. Offer people a drink or something, check on how they are doing, make their wait more comfy. Maybe I'm just being a snob because I work at a salon. 3. They only ever have play Indian tv and movies. At times when I've had to wait a full hour, I would have appreciated a little tv, I could understand. It's a nice way to avoid boredom. read more

I've been one other place in Beverly Hills (where I work) but wasn't impressed. Ive been here with a friend who needed moral support while she got waxed and I was pretty impressed with how clean the place was & how friendly the staff was so I figured why not give them a shot at my downstairs mixup. I didn't catch the name of the lady who waxed me, but she was very nice, we made small talk while she went to work & it was really comfortable.. But I stopped going because it was too far from where I live. The other places that I tried just didn't compare. Setting: Nice venue, I like how they care about there customers by offering free beverages, free WiFi, big waiting area, big screen tv to occupy customers. I like that this place had wax and henna. Employees: some are polite try to start conversation, some just get to work on what needs to get done, and I had this one person who was just full of attitude like he didnt love doing a simple tasked job, and as for my brow results, there were unsatisfying as I was a regular customer I didnt get what I expected. The women that work there are very friendly and knowledgeable. The only reason why I'm rating so low is that I got my eyebrow done there for a wedding I'm in today and she left them so thin. I don't regularly get my eyebrows done and they are very fine. She told me it's because my eyebrows lost their shape? I've gotten my eyebrows done before after months of not getting them done and all the people who have done them respected that I like them left a little more full. i was really pleased with my eyebrows when i went to go have them done. I had just let my eyebrows grow out because i wanted thick and full eyebrows. Eyebrow Image cleaned them up nicely without making them thin and uneven. I was greeted and taken care of as soon as i walked in. The girls were very professional. The place has a nice mood to it and is very clean. The reason I gave it three stars instead of 4 is because of my third visit. The place was full, but they took me in right away. The lady that threaded my eyebrows, SONIA was too "harsh" on my eyebrows. Her string broke like 4 times! She left my eyebrows uneven. My right eyebrow was thinner than my left. She blamed it on me saying that i plucked them! I had thick eyebrows when i came in for gosh sakes!!! If i plucked my eyebrows i wouldnt get them threaded in the first place! Not only that, the lady broke my skin. I had little cuts where my eyebrows begin, and it hurts!!...im guessing I also did that when "I" plucked them (being sarcastic)... I have never been this disappointed with how my eyebrows were done!!!!! For starters the lady was so rough!!!! My skin is still tingling. Not only that but she had her boobs and stomach over me the entire time. I thought ok maybe she likes to b close to get all the tiny ones. When she was done she didn't offer me a mirror to look at my eyebrows. I just quickly glanced at the wall mirror on my way out. I noticed the tail on my right eyebrow was super thin! I payed $14. I though that was expensive. I use to pay $9 where I use to go. The only reason I don't go there anymore is because I no longer work in Anaheim so it's too far of a drive. My eyebrows are so misshaped!!! I told her to make them even but she left them worse!!!! I am so mad!!!! Oh and the left one is so stupid looking I can't even look at it!!!
