I love this place!! I've been going here for years, even before threading became popular!! I just feel as though it is more sanitary, you dont have to worry about contaminated wax. And also, if you have sensitive skin, this is better for you!! I feel as though it lasts longer too!! I usually get Sonya to go my eyebrows, since she knows how I dont like my eyebrows too thin!! For starters, I've been coming here for 10 years. I've tried other places in between but no one comes close to eyebrow image. I usually go to Angie or Tina and they do a GREAT job with my eyebrows and listen when I ask them to not make them too thin or shaped. I get compliments on my eyebrows consistently! This review is so long overdue. I've been coming here for 6 years. I get my threading and bikini/Brazilian wax with Tina. She is amazing. She always makes me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. The location is super clean. During the Covid closure I totally missed coming here and realized how important and essential she is to me. When I returned a month ago, everyone was compliant with the guidelines, masks, single use products, 6 feet social distancing, etc. I can't say enough about Tina. First time here and it was a great experience! I couldn't find the place as it's tucked into the back of the shopping center next to the Tropical Fish store and a clothing store, but I called them and they happily gave me great directions to find them. I walked in and was a bit worried about the wait, but it went really fast! Helen was soo great! She was very nice and gentle and asked questions before she did any changes to my eyebrows, which was very nice of her to do! The guy at the front desk was also nice and his customer service was great on the phone and in person. The place is nice and clean inside and has a TV with music videos on to keep you entertained while you wait. I definitely will be coming back to this place! read more

I love coming here , all the ladies are very sweet and are very nice to my 3 year old daughter. They always smile when we walk in and I always leave happy with my eyebrows . Ever since I've been coming here the service has been declining and declining. When Priscilla started working here it was better because she was soooo good but ever since she left I don't like it anymore. Today just made me never want to show up to this place again. The lady that did them this time (she sits at the end chair of the right side) completely cut my eyebrows as if I wanted a "slit" through my eyebrows. Not only that but she also did them very rushed and rough. Keep in mind there was NO ONE else but me. I am extremely upset that this happened because I should've stopped coming a long time ago and I would've avoided this. Now I can't feel comfortable with my natural eyebrows and I will have to fill in. So so so upset. read more

I've been coming here since middle school and everyone here is great. My favorite person to go to was Tina, but now I'm not sure if she's still works there (seems to not be there when I go). Everyone here is great at what they do. I gave this a four star rating because the prices are slightly too high for my liking, most places charge less than 9 dollars so with a tip it shouldn't cost more than than this. I used to love coming here, but my recent experience warrants a review, I came in 8/6/21 wanting my brows done, and I got this lady with thick curly hair, I didn't catch her name, but around 10:30AM I went in and never have i ever been tugged at so hard with yarn, she kept moving my head and left my skin aching. Called today at 758 to ask about closing time.. one hit days 8 I said ok I'll be fine since I'm turning into the shopping center... she says no we closed already I said well then you close before 8 because it's not 8.. not on my cellphone not on my Apple Watch not in my car watch.. I feel so bad because I used to love this place, but the last two times I have gone I have left extremely upset. The first bad experience, the new lady laughed and said "wish me luck I'm still training" which definitely made me nervous, and with good reason. I was so upset with the result, she had completely rounded out the top part of my arch and ruined the shape of my eyebrows. I grew them out and decided to try again because I'd had better past experiences, but today wasn't much better. The trimming on the top with scissors was not straight on one of my eyebrows and once again, one of my top arches had been rounded out, while the other one was nicely done. After leaving dissastisfied twice, i will be looking for a new place after I grow them out again. read more

Came in today on my lunch break to have my eyebrows threaded. I have been trying to keep them up on my own by plucking but I was starting to lose the shape. Came in and requested Priscilla. She does an amazing job and takes her time. She is very detailed and when you think you're done, if she notices something is off, she will pull the thread back out for one hair! For months a while back, my eyebrows were uneven and it was real obvious in pictures loI. I was starting to think there was no saving them and it was just me. One day I was assigned to Priscillas seat and mentioned that they're uneven and bug me. She said yeah i can tell lol. Well she fixed them!!! Ever since I've always gone back to her. The only reason I'm giving this place one star is because I can't put zero. If you're in the mood for bad service, petulantly rude attitudes, and just feel like getting your face butchered, then this is the place for you. When I first got there, the snotty little man at the front seemed too preoccupied with his cell phone to even greet me. After getting his attention, and another wait, I was seated. This man then proceeded to assault my face with what can only be characterized as willful and wonton disregard to my specific instructions. I had to ask him several times to not thread areas I had specifically asked him not to thread. All the while, he had the audacity to give me attitude. He quickly finished, leaving me angry, unsatisfied, and bleeding. His unapologetic and sarcastic comments were the icing on the cake. I only go threading every other month or so but I'd rather live gleefully as a hairy beast the rest of my life than go back there. read more

I appreciate how they actually listen to what you want! I like my eyebrows thick with not too much taken off the front and the ladies here always listen and do my brows just the way I want it. I love how they offer to put aloe after the threading and give you a mini "eyebrow massage". Feels great after my brow hairs have been pulled out. read more

Threading is an ancient method of hair removal originating in the Eastern world, don't quote me on it, quote wikipedia. First time I've ever tried it was today, a little late on the threading train, but I love it. Compared to tweezing, it's less painful. You hear zrrp zrpp as your unruly eyebrows are getting reshaped. I find that it takes an outsider's eye to help bring symmetry, her name was "Cita", for $9, she brought my brows back to normalcy, and I will maintain this until they get unruly. She even put on some gel and massaged my temples! Tip: Go on a weekday and go early, no wait! read more

This is now my favorite threading place! $9 for really good service and quality. I came here yesterday with my eyebrows all grown out and bushy since I was planning to go to a free threading event somewhere else and didn't end up doing that. The lady cleaned up my eyebrows very fast and efficiently and it didn't hurt one bit! I loved it! She left some stray hairs around my eyebrows, but explained to me that she shaped them in a way that if I just let those hairs around grow out then they will look nice, full and even (opposite of what I have right now lol). Normally when I get my eyebrows threaded, they just thread all the excess hair and leave it at that, but at this place she did it differently and actually suggested and told me why she left some parts the way she did. I gave a 4 dollar tip and I'm definitely coming back! Hopefully I get the lady's name next time though. read more

Yikes, I have to review my past review. Came in today for a brow thread. The "customer service" was null. The girl who did my brows had the personality of Lurch from the Addams Family, I'm pretty sure she growled at me. I told her my brows looked uneven and she argued with me. I just asked for my brows to be cleaned up and given a natural arch... I got some beat up thin little twigs. I guess I will just give these a few months of growing out coupled with some serious filling in. I think I just got unlucky with my eyebrow tech... I give this place a four, for the following reasons: The wait it wayyy to long they don't take appointments and.. there have been numerous times where someone comes in speaking their language and they are somehow able to bypass the 10 people who were waiting in front of them. I have super sensetive skin and can't wax so threading is perfect. I'm also a very picky when it comes to my eyebrows, and Jackie gets them just the way I like them. She is fast and attentive. Been going to her for years, I've even recomended many of my clients and coworkers to her. They love her too. There are only 3 things for me to complain about. 1. They are walk in only, so there is often a long wait. 2. The customer service can use an update. They basically ask you to sign in, have a seat, wait, then ignore you until it's your turn. I wish they would be more hospitible. Offer people a drink or something, check on how they are doing, make their wait more comfy. Maybe I'm just being a snob because I work at a salon. 3. They only ever have play Indian tv and movies. At times when I've had to wait a full hour, I would have appreciated a little tv, I could understand. It's a nice way to avoid boredom. read more

I've gone to many different waxing places as I've been waxing my eyebrows for a good 10 years now.. I have a lady I normally go to elsewhere for my eyebrows but needed a place for my ladybits. I've been one other place in Beverly Hills (where I work) but wasn't impressed. Ive been here with a friend who needed moral support while she got waxed and I was pretty impressed with how clean the place was & how friendly the staff was so I figured why not give them a shot at my downstairs mixup. I didn't catch the name of the lady who waxed me, but she was very nice, we made small talk while she went to work & it was really comfortable.. Or as comfortable as one can get under those conditions. For $30 im insanely impressed with my end results & this will definitely be my other wax place. read more
