I work 7:00am-3:30pm and the latest appointment they do is 3:15pm. They are open Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:30pm and Fridays 8:00-1:00pm. They do not work Saturdays. 2. I work remotely, a desk job, and my vision would start off fine in the beginning of my day, but a few hours into my day; my vision would get blurry for a few hours, then go back to being fine in the afternoon. The doctor kept testing my vision in the exam room; as in seeing if there was something wrong with my lenses. It turned out my eyes were dry. How can a doctor not know when a patients eye is dry? That is alarming to me. Luckily, he has been patient throughout the process; but is frustrating to see an optometrist who cannot detect dry eyes. 3. If you have an appointment at 12:00, plan to n being there until 1:30pm. The doctor does not see you until 12:45/1:00pm.

Came in and verified insurance, had exam, and all of a sudden, as we're ready to leave, they asked for almost $400 more than what I was told on the phone as my co-pay PLUS an additional $45 for a "contact lense training" for a new wearer. Mind you, ALL of what they did, the exam, eyeglass script, and lense fitting (with new contact lenses wearer), would have been $120 each at Costco WITHOUT insurance. They literally LIED to me to guilt me to pay SOMETHING saying they could lose their license if I did not pay for service rendered or if they gave a discount. Not to mention, they were running late and the entire visit lasted longer than a typical Costco visit. What a waste of time and now I have to keep my fingers crossed that I can take my vision benefits to Costco in order to get a contact lens fitting without having to pay twice. When they arrived my regular lense glasses were fine. My sunglasses were a disaster. A small sliver of the lens just above the bifocal was accurate. The entire top half of the lens was out of focus. The bifocal was so low I had to tilt my head back to even use them. That was two weeks ago. It is June 2, 2025 as of this writing. I called AECC this morning for the status of my reconfigured sunglasses. The CSR could not even tell me if or when they'd be shipped! This is by far the worst new glasses purchase I've ever had. Who knows when I'll have my new sunglasses...properly made? I really loved the staff & the opthalmologist. This review pains me.

Another gal called me back to the lobby. She just went right into what my insurance covered and that was it. Me being the irresponsible adult, waited until I was out of contacts to go to my appointment to get more. They didn't have trials of my astigmatism contacts I use but they had the regular ones which can hold me over. Dr. Goldberg said they typically come in fast so after a week, I called and asked where they were because I didn't get them yet. They were on backorder and she (will not name who I spoke with on the phone) said let me call and see for how long, it's not usually long. Turns out it IS long and they wouldn't be in until November 17th so she directly called the manufacturer (Bausch + Lomb) and they said they can overnight them for $13. So I paid the $13. Well that was on Friday so I expected them Monday. Didn't get them but thought... maybe because I called them later in the day on Friday, they probably won't be here until Tuesday. Tuesday goes by, NO CONTACTS. So first thing this morning I call the eye doctor and she tells me the FedEx tracking is saying it was delivered......... I BLEW UP. I would know if the contacts were delivered. I work from home and see FedEx pass me everyday. We have a camera that would go off if something was delivered. She basically tells me it is out of the eye doctor offices hands now and I need to deal with FedEx. All I can think is "I just want to see!!" The lady tells me "well you can order more but it'll cost you". Immediate thought was I AM NEVER GIVING MY MONEY TO THIS OFFICE AGAIN. I call FedEx and they tell me they will contact the driver and he SHOULD get back to me by the end of the day, 5pm. I said "so I will sit her blind until I hear back from you at MAYBE 5pm!?" He said he made note that this was urgent... Mind you my thinking is, I'm working from home today and will flag down that driver myself when I see him. I get this text from the doctor's office and I honestly started tearing up.... My office and Bausch and Lomb are splitting the cost of my two 90pk contacts and overnight shipping. IF THAT ISN'T THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU HAVE EVER SEEN, IDK WHAT IS. P.S. I'm highly considering lasik after this experience and I am still going to fight FedEx for the original contacts so I can give them back to the office for so generously giving to me

The village eye care had different machines to test our eyes that we have never used before (I've had glasses for 8 years now; so that 8 years of eye exams and we left this place with so much more knowledge about eye health and care) We loved how they took time with the eye exam and then trying on different lens prescriptions to see what was most comfortable was the best part. Last year I had an eye exam somewhere else and I left with glasses that were unwearable because they were too strong. (I had the worst headaches) So this year we switched to The Village Eye care and we could not be happier. The service was great, the eye exam was so informative, and we left very pleased with choosing this place.
