My intention was to change out my lense as I had been to this place the day before and felt like I couldn't find any frames that fit me. After we realized that there was no luck with the other stores, she got up and started picking out frames that I might be interested in. I didn't have to tell her anything.. You walk in, choose your frames, and order your glasses for delivery. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable and process is easy peasy but I was recommended high index glasses and it was just the worst. I'm sure it may differ per person but I felt dizzy and nauseous wearing my new specs. Called customer service and they had recommended that I try them on for couple more days for my eyes to get accustomed but they never did. Return process was good, which is a plus, just too bad that it didn't work out.

Zeena Optical is NOT that experience. The feeling of warmth and home is what you get the moment you walk inside. The beautiful eyewear display cases beckons you to try a pair or two on. Their frames were all fairly priced. Once you get to the back, the state of the art technology was top tier. I was jaw dropped by the ease and care of the technician guiding me through the process. After the pre eye screening tests, I was ushered into a beautiful little private office exam room where elegantly placed decor and equipment married together in perfect and tasteful style. When Dr. "A" as she is affectionately called, walked into the room, I knew this would be my forever eye place. Dr. A is not only thorough and proficient, but also she is kind and personable. She is very easy to talk to and the most important thing is that she listens. I felt so seen and heard by her. She is simply in a word fantastic. This is one of the worst eye centers especially when it involves patient billing. As a pretty new…read morepatient with a few visits, I received a statement for optical eye pictures taken and obviously the insurance company did not pay for. I originally contacted the office to question the balance due and learned that the insurance company did not pay, however after speaking with one of the staff members, I was told he would see if the charge could be removed and would contact me in 24 no more than 48 hours (no response). A week later, I received a notice that the balance would go to collections on a certain date, so I immediately contacted the office once again and requested to speak with the office manager (no response) specially stating . I never received a call from the first staff member and I DID not want the balance placed in collections and if that would be the result of it, I will just pay the bill regardless of what he advised me of originally. A few days later, I received a call from the same originally gentlemen, which stated after speaking with the doctors they decided to remove the charge and explained the next time if pictures are required, I would be responsible (okay fair enough). Upon receiving my mail to learn they sent the balance over to collections after stating the charge would be removed and I am highly upset due to the fact this eye centers business office staff members to do not return promised phone calls nor do they follow up within the time frame specifically stated and the worse part of this whole situation sending my account over to collection and the ONLY way I could put it is, totally deceptive on there point to the point I strongly feel I need to find another eye center, due to the lack of being totally incompetent when it involve a patient's account. At this point, I don't know who the office manager is, because I still have not received a call back from the office when this whole issue started from the very beginning, which is mind blowing when you ask to speak with an office manager regardless someone should respond (but again NO one wants to work these days). I really don't know what's wrong with the health care system these days nor some of the people employed, it honestly appears some just don't want to work, but at the end of the day expect a pay check, because clearly this should not have happen.

I'm updating my review -…read more A few years back, I brought my niece here to get her very first set of contact lenses. Due to a death in a family, she was not able to make her follow up appointment (she moved back to Louisiana) and this place gave her / us a REALLY hard time about getting a paper Rx for her glasses and contacts even though I paid for at time of visit. It was beyond bizarre. I forgot to write that update because I was busy dealing with funeral arrangements and the aftermath. Recently - I decided it was PAST time to get my annual eye exam ...having missed the last 3 years :-( I checked with My Eye Lab / My EyeLab, Marietta Eye Clinic and Walmart Vision Centers. Check my review for My EyeLab's EW Connector location (awful). As of the writing of the review - $80 for eyeglasses exam $45 additional for contact lenses exam Dr. Aaron Rahn is the only optometrist onsite and he's there 2 - 3 days per week. By the way, I saw some Google reviews where people gave 1 star reviews because the doctor is only there one day a week. I asked about this and it turns out he's not laying home eating bonbons or chilling on the beach when he's not there (like the detractors speculated - lol), he works at other locations when he's not there. My visit was great. Dr. Rahn was EXTREMELY thorough and gave me, hands down, the best, most thorough explanation I'd ever heard with regard to how to understand my eyeglass Rx. The only thing I forgot to ask was what OD and OS mean. I Googled it: Oculus dexter (O.D.) translates to "right eye," while oculus sinister (O.S.) means "left eye." There was little to no wait time and the support staff was fairly friendly. Their selection of eyeglass frame is pretty much what one could expect based on the store size and they had some of the trendy options like Ray Ban, Coach, Sean John, etc. I already have frames that I love (they have glare reduction / blue-light blocking / darken in sun), so if I decide to go with glasses, I would probably only get my lens here and have them put them into my existing frames. If I had to mention anything that might need some tweaking - No one introduced themselves. I found out, by asking, that the young lady at check-in's name was Andrea. I had to ask the name of the doctor, after we'd already been speaking for a few minutes. I had to ask the name of the sales associate that helped me (Kulvir). I think this is just a social norm that seems to be falling to the wayside, but I like to write reviews, so I always want to know the names of the folks I'm talking to. Plus - I like to be able to address people by their names because it seems like the polite thing to do. Overall - I would recommend this place. It didn't put too big of dent in my wallet. The visit was quick and painless and the doctor was phenomenal. Because of my somewhat unique Rx, I have to go back in 7 days for a follow-up (no additional cost), so if anything changes, I'll update my review accordingly.
