Good snack selection, convenient location and the people who work there are nice. But it's a great place to put 15-1/2 gallons of gas into your 12 gallon tank. It's 2024. How can gas pumps pump at half the speed of a normal service station? Incredibly slow so much so I'll never stop here again.

Bobby behind the counter is super sweet, patient, and an overall incredibly hard worker. Chris behind the counter however is the opposite. Chris was behind the cash register and I asked him if he could find an employee for me to help me figure out why my card wouldn't work at the pumps. Chris said, "Uhhh IDK, yeah he's either in the back or around here sweeping." Then he spotted him and said "He's over there, go ask him for help." I paused. He said it again, "He's right there, go ask him for help." I said "Can you call him over for me? I don't know his name." And he rolled his eyes, rolled his head to the back of his neck, and said "Hey Bobby, there's a..... customer here that needs your assistancccce...." Whatever dude. Sorry for asking you for help. Bobby came over and walked me out to the pumps and showed me how to use the pumps with the delay (also my card is not reversible). He was so sweet and patient. Exxon Tiger Mart - a gas station at night - Convenience Stores Near Me - Austin, Texas

This is a gas station/convenience store that's bigger than the Valero next to it on the other side of the block. Prices are typically the same though the parking situation at the Exxon is much better than the Valero one since there's the weird hill that slopes down from Fujiyama's parking. I also like the air tire station by the side away from the area of gas tho you have to park in a parking spot. I'd suggest going down Jollyville to the other Exxon if you want air in your tires though, that one is extra fancy with built in air tire pressure digital reader! Technology yeah! Finally, I just prefer the car wash to that of the Valero one though every time I go on a random day, the Valero and Exxon carwash machines are always out of order, maybe they do maintaince on the same day but NOOOOOO boo. You guys need to not do this if you want my money for getting myself a clean car, blah! read more

This convevience store and gas station is on my way home so I stop here frequently. The people working around 6:00 to 7:00 in the evening are always very nice. One of the working team members told me they have fun. I always enjoy seeing them. The store has a good selection of food and drinks. It can be busy but there are numerous gas pumps and inside check out is fast. read more

* Canada? Which state is that in? * Warning - Rant ahead! Ok, so I had to fill up the tank of gas on my rental car to return it full and avoid getting jacked by the rental company for $29.99/gallon or whatever ridiculous add-on they would have. So I pulled into the Exxon (the US version of Esso), and stuck my credit card into the pump. It asked for a zip code. Um. Dilemma! Canadian postal codes have letters and numbers, not 5 digits. So that didn't work. I tried the trick of 00000, which sometimes works. Fail. After 3 tries it sent me inside. The clueless guy behind the counter didn't know where Canada was and said, "Oh, we take cards from other States. No problem." No, Canada is not the 51st state! Hello?!?!?!? He then asked me how much gas? I said, "I'd like to fill it up." He said, "How many dollars worth?" I said, "Until it is full." He said, "We can't do that." Ugh. He then said, "What kind of car is it? I could guess how much you'll need." Ugh. Then he came up with the brilliant solution of, "You tell me an amount and if you don't need that much come back in and you can have chips or drinks to make up the difference." Ugh. I asked for $20, and it made the tank "look" full as best I could tell. Don't know if I was anyplace near really full though. Lucky guess on the $20 though! But how pathetic!!!!!! Rant complete. This gas station is well lit and the employees are pretty friendly, too! They have plenty of pumps to usually go around and the location is great since our favorite HEB is right next door. The gas prices however are not that competitive so if you are a bit of a penny pincher like I am then you may want to consider if you want to stop in at this location hehe ~ The inside is nice since it is a 7-11 so they have a lot to offer as far as snacks and things go. read more

I have Grandma hobbies that include knitting and playing the lotto. I normally stop by here once a week to get my lotto fix and sometimes to pick up my lotto winnings. While I love the Tiger Mart for my lotto needs I also fill up my tank here too. For all you germaphobes, I regularly see an employee wiping down the gas stations with disinfectant. I didn't even know gas stations did that but I am quiet happy to know when swipe my card and select my gas that the surface has been cleaned in the last 24 hours. Lotto pay outs and clean gassing station can make this Grandma forget that the employees don't know Canada is a country (refer to Marc D.'s review). Now only if they would start selling some yarn, it would be a one stop shop for me! read more

How rare it is to find people who know the meaning of service these days but my stop in here yesterday reassured me that it exists if I look hard enough. I didn't get the names of the men working there around noon but these three guys will ensure this small business is a success. One was mopping the floor non-stop making sure every little spill was cleaned up. I was worried someone would slip and fall as there were several places that could've easily happened with only one yellow sign to be had but no one did. The man behind the register was friendly, had a great personality, and actually treated me like a friend rather than just another number coming through his store. My son and I were there several minutes tying to decide which of the selections of convenience store gourmet sandwiches we were going to eat and he was not only patient but did a great job recommending something I hadn't even seen yet. The clincher was the young man who went above and beyond by actually heating up a fresh (frozen) pizza for my son when he asked for a couple of slices. There were 4 or 5 slices sitting there in the display case and he could've easily sold my son two of those but he recognized that they had been sitting there for a few hours so he jumped right over to the frozen pizzas and grabbed a new one for him. I went in there to get a pack of smokes and the guy manning the register asks me if I'm a tattoo artist. No, I say. He looks at my tattoos and goes "Oh I was wondering if you did those yourself." No, I say. "Those are pretty good," he says. "If you did them yourself." Didn't get a hello or a thank you or anything like that, just some snide remarks about my tattoos.
