a car at a gas station
Melanie R.

What I like about this gas station is that it is clean and fairly large. A one stop shop. The small Deli inside that serves hot and cold food is a little pricey and quality is a little low but overall reasonable pricing. 16 gas pumps Lots of choices for snacks, drinks, cigarettes and other tobacco products. Big wide parking lot and easy entrance and exit

Chicken taco - A chicken taco with chopped cooked chicken pieces and seasoning inside a soft flour tortilla. The taco is partially open, showing the filling, and is placed on crinkled aluminum foil. The background includes a textured surface and a fabric material, suggesting a casual setting.

I went to Aldi the other day after a long walk at Lake Pflugerville. I've been to this location…read moremultiple times prior to this most recent visit. You need to know that if you want a cart, you need a quarter. You put the quarter into the slot to "release" the cart lock and then when you are done, if you return the cart to its spot, you get your quarter back. The store has what I would say is the typical Aldi selection - more than a Trader Joe's, but less than an HEB. The prices are typically less than other stores assuming you aren't brand name specific in your tastes. The staff are the quickest at the check out ever - true to Aldi's reputation. Just know that you'll be bagging your groceries yourself at the counter beyond the cash registers as there is no time to bag them at the checkout line. The store has wide aisles and while it may not be the most well organized space, the signage is clear about what is where. Overall, I would definitely visit this store when in the general area.

When we got there the lines were long, and there were only 5 registers. The cashiers are able to be seated unlike other grocery stores where you have to stand for your whole shift. They will ring your stuff up and then you move the cart to the side and bag it yourself.

Prices are what the typical HEB prices are so no surprises there. It's B I G. Did I mention there's a True Texas BBQ right at the left entrance of the store? You can order via several kiosks and order online for pickup or just eat and then shop. Lines aren't too long either. They have multiple ways to checkout: the usual self-checkout 10 items or less, self-checkout 25 items or less, and the usual stand-in-line conveyor belt style. They sometimes have sample stations just depends which day you go (idk their schedule). Overall a very new and nice place to shop-eat-chill. I love my local HEB

First i'm met with a giant yawn when I walked up, almost sucked my whole face in. All I asked, was "Long Day, your day almost done?" I get a "I don't discuss much" " I then say, i'm sorry about that Theresa" then we do not speak the rest of the transaction, and that's what this was, a transaction, not an experience like EVERY other time i've been to an HEB. She proceeded to let out a large burp to finish. That was a real treat at the end. That's what I get for trying a different HEB on an alternate route home, my HEB would never. Do better Pflugerville Pkwy, Theresa will lose you guests, or at least stack more complaints like mine.

So off I went to order curbside, and wow, what an experience. First of all, curbside here is chef's kiss. They've got their own dedicated area off to the side, away from the parking lot chaos. No fighting with other customers who think your reserved spot is fair game. Nope, this is a curbside oasis. There are plenty of spots, and the in-and-out process is smoother than a perfectly ripe avocado. The store itself looks great from the outside--pristine, shiny, and promising. I haven't been inside yet (I mean, why bother when curbside is this good?), but I've heard the Texas BBQ inside is legendary. And now I'm torn: do I break my streak of grocery-store efficiency and go in for brisket, or do I stay loyal to my curbside kingdom? Decisions, decisions. In conclusion, this H-E-B has me contemplating a long-term relationship. I might just keep coming here, even if it's a bit of a drive. Who knew I'd get so sentimental about parking spots and stocked shelves? Next thing you know, I'll be writing sonnets about their tortilla factory.

The fresh produce section is especially impressive -- the fruits and vegetables are beautifully stocked, and the colors are so vibrant that it honestly makes shopping more enjoyable. You can tell they put effort into keeping everything looking fresh and appealing. They also have a great variety of items, from everyday groceries to specialty foods and personal care products. It's one of those places where you can come in for just one thing and end up walking out with a few extra goodies because so many things look tempting. One of my favorite sections here is the flower area. They always have such cute and lovely arrangements, perfect for gifts or just to brighten up your home. We came this time specifically to pick up a birthday cake for my wife, and we're really glad we did. We found a nice small cake, and it turned out to be absolutely delicious -- light, flavorful, and not overly sweet. It was a perfect way to celebrate. Overall, this Whole Foods is a great spot for quality groceries, treats, and little special finds. We'll definitely be back for more yummy stuff in the future. Cheers!

Barnett was extremely informative as he described the different taste of the oysters. We opted for a variety mix and he had them shucked and on ice for us to take home and enjoy. Now I'm looking forward to next Friday so I can grab another dozen to enjoy because this is a great deal!!
