Throughout the years, I've had it professionally cleaned from time to time, but I never invested in a really thorough deep cleaning until recently when I used Ken at American Tile Cleaning. He did a total restoration on the flooring over the course of a couple of days. He worked an absolute miracle on the floors. Every grout line was back to the original color. Huge areas where lemon juice, tomatoes and coffee had been spilled were intensely worked on and the whole floor was brought back to its original glory. It actually shines again. I will attach pictures shortly, but the difference is absolutely remarkable. Besides just being overall dull and dirty it was stained in multiple areas and the grout was brownish. When he was finished, you could see all the natural striations in the Stone and it shines so beautifully now you can actually see the reflection from the overhead lights on the floor. Ken is an absolute professional. He loves what he does and it shows. As stated before, it was a 2 to 3 day job so it was not cheap, but I have seen where cheap gets me by using other companies in the past. This was worth every penny. He steam cleaned my tile floors and did a good job. He gave me an estimate on my stall shower. The tile needed cleaning from the waist down, not the entire height of the walls. He said that he'd clean the tile and grout and re-caulk everything. His exact words were "it will look like new"; the price $400.00 (for half a shower). He completely OVER PROMISED. The tile looks OK, the grout is still gray, it doesn't look like new at all. When the caulking he applied came off in strips I called him back. He made an appointment but had to cancel for illness, he said he'd been in an accident a few days before, HE DID'NT CANCEL UNTIL AN HOUR BEFORE HE WAS DUE. I made a second appointment and the morning of, he texted and said he'd put the wrong address in his GPS, HE HAD BEEN HERE THREE DIFFERENT TIMES, so why he was lost is a mystery. I asked if he needed directions, he simply quit responding and never showed up. WHAT A TERRIBLE WAY TO DO BUSINESS. I really wanted to give him a chance, but in the end I feel that I was ripped off. He had my son's name along with mine on the statement. Modesto-The gentleman returned my call in a timely manner. Very nice guy. We needed to have two bedrooms shampooed and a sectional cleaned. He did a great job on the sectional, but the carpets were just as stained after he left as when he got there. Although we did have slime stuck in the carpet, there was no way to get that out, and I realize that. BUT...I was the one who got the regular stains out of the carpeting when he had finished. After speaking with a couple of people, I realized that we were overcharged for work (or lack of) that was done. Not having furniture or carpets cleaned in a long time, I did not do a second quote and I should have. Always get TWO quotes! Lesson learned!
