I am not able to review R & E Carpet Cleaning's job performance because we never got to that point. I do would like to share my experience with Elias during the negotiation process. He is too centered on giving price quotes without providing the extent of the service as he was vague in backing up the price quotes he provided (e.g. the extent of the minimum charge of $65 for a 100 square-foot room, which is too expensive for that size, even with worker's comp expense factored in) with the areas that can be serviced with the quoted minimum rate. Note: other carpet cleaners I have called were straightforward. They said: "$85 minimum charge for 300 square-foot area," or, "$85 for 1 room plus stairs and halls," et al. Elias didn't reply to e-mail messages and numerous phone calls when asked to provide written estimates. He may know how to clean carpets but he doesn't know how to deal business and be professional. read more

Once moving into this house, our carpets were not previously cleaned. It was decent, but not presentable. After living here for a year and a half, we decided to call R n E for a professional cleaning to be done. With all honesty, they did an exceptional job on our carpets and they were very professional throughout the entire process. They worked fast, but took their time to make sure their job was done right. They arrived at the house a bit late but it wasn't a problem cause they got right to work. In regards to the price, they were generous enough to offer a student discount since this is a house full of college students.
