Like others here, I had used Mark for years, great work every time. When Rudy arrived and informed me that he was the new owner, I saw no reason not to give him a try. He steam cleaned my tile floors and did a good job. He gave me an estimate on my stall shower. The tile needed cleaning from the waist down, not the entire height of the walls. He said that he'd clean the tile and grout and re-caulk everything. His exact words were "it will look like new"; the price $400.00 (for half a shower). He completely OVER PROMISED. The tile looks OK, the grout is still gray, it doesn't look like new at all. When the caulking he applied came off in strips I called him back. He made an appointment but had to cancel for illness, he said he'd been in an accident a few days before, HE DID'NT CANCEL UNTIL AN HOUR BEFORE HE WAS DUE. I made a second appointment and the morning of, he texted and said he'd put the wrong address in his GPS, HE HAD BEEN HERE THREE DIFFERENT TIMES, so why he was lost is a mystery. I asked if he needed directions, he simply quit responding and never showed up. WHAT A TERRIBLE WAY TO DO BUSINESS. I really wanted to give him a chance, but in the end I feel that I was ripped off. Save your time and money and call someone else! read more

Former owner Mark was great. Tried working with Rudy, the current owner a few times and was disappointed. Switched to another company called American Cleaning and we're happy. read more

I scheduled an appointment, and they did not show up nor did they call to cancel or reschedule.

Poor service. Did not do a good job of cleaning windows or carpet. Very disappointed.

Had Rudy & a coworker clean my windows in May of this year ( 2025). A screen from my front window was damaged. Rudy said he would repair it within the week. That never happened & as of this date the screen has not been replaced. They came last weekend & tried to place a new screen but didn't have the correct equipment. Then Rudy came @ 8:30 two nights ago & tried to get the screen together out on the sidewalk in front of my house ( in the dark ). I told him this was not going to work & I would be getting someone to replace the screen & I would send him the bill. Not happy with the service @ all. read more

A clean slate employees Eric and Rudy came to our home, Rudy has presented himself as the owner of the business. They have been to our home before to clean the windows. On this particular day Eric was witnessed to be standing by the shower/Bathroom area where no windows are placed and therefore had no business being there. When they left about 20k in jewelry was missing. After the Sheriffs department was involved, employee Eric was arrested and admitted to stealing the jewelry ( he had been in jail for burglary btw) was just out of jail after being locked up for burglary. Owner Rudy had promised us that he would work with the sheriffs department and pay back all what was stolen......that was all lies he never made any attempts to pay anything back and also did not cooperate with the investigation. When at the sheriffs department to identify Eric in a line up, did we find out that the owner Rudy had been trying to obstruct the investigation and not work with the authorities, as he is currently dealing with drugs dealing himself. Erik has admitted to the crime and has been arrested and is in jail awaiting sentencing as he admitted to the theft this at East is making it little easier. ( This can all be confirmed by the Sheriffs office) My question is under the owner information it shows person by the name of : Mr. Mark Laliberte, Owner Mr. Aldolpho Carreon, Owner on the BBB website however none of the real "owners" have reached out to us and the REAL question is why are there no background checks performed on employees before having them work in 80 year old disabled Veterans home ?? THE COMPANY HAS NOT RETURNED ANY IF OUR CALLS. I am available to take calls with anyone requesting feedback about A Clean Slate company and the people they hire and the management and owners. read more

I love a clean slate. The Owner is very kind and fair. I prefer when he comes out to the jobs I feel like we get an extra touch. He remembers you when you call and does not take calls while on a job. We have used this business several times. They are not the cheapest but I think they are the best. There was an old paint stain in my carpet they completely got out. Another room had a pet stain and my insurance company had sent out another company to clean the room and they could not get the stain out. A clean slate had no problem. My mom has also used them for windows and to clean her aggregate flooring. They aim to do a quality job and it shows! Thank you! read more

Very pleased with Rudy's work. His work lives up to the pictures of completed project's.His quick response in coming out to give an estimate and everything that he said he will do in cleaning he did, it was also nice that he gives you a courtesy call to confirm the appointment and time which also turned up on time and got straight into the cleaning and worked very hard I definitely would recommend him to family and friends for a great job well done. Again thank you Rudy for making the shower look brand new again. read more

A Clean Slate - Shower floor and walls - Window Washing Near Me - Fresno, California

Mark is an amazing and skilled individual, businessowner, and family man. I requested for him to come over and seal my new home that was just built within the Granville home community and he did come. He came on time, inspected the entire house thoroughly, gave me the most sincere and thorough feedback I've ever heard from any business. It was as if Mark considered me a part of his family after we met for the first time, and he did not take any shortcuts to help explain every nook and cranny on how I can maintain the floors, bathrooms, and tiles on my own without having to spend a small fortune... I know he cares sincerely for his customers as he made it all the way down to physically inspect everything, left the fairest estimate should I seal the entire house, provided his advice, honesty, and left after providing a piece of his skilled expertise and experience in order for me to maintain my own home thoroughly and successfully for years to come. Mark is extremely skillful, honest, sincere, and literally the best they come! For reference-he even services the burger franchise chain Five Guys within the area, and you can probably guess how greasy things get with them! As the phrase goes...Bring food for one they will eat one day. Teach them how to fish and they will be able to sustain for the rest of their lives. Mark has taught me how to fish and his expertise and experience will be utilized from now on to keep my own home clean for years and years to come. Thank you Mark for being who you are and paired with your expertise and experience-truly makes an AMAZING business! :) -One happy customer! read more

I cannot say enough good things about the job they did to clean the floor tile and grout in my house! It looks brand new again and that's saying something because we are coming up on our 19th year since we put this tile in. The grout was unrecognizable- it was bark brown! Now it's back to the same color as the tile- light beige. They were professional and did an excellent job. They even repaired a spot where the tile has cracked and the grout came out. read more

A Clean Slate - The "after" looking brand new again! - Window Washing Near Me - Fresno, California

After living in a home that has aggregate for almost 7 years it was time to get it clean. I contacted A Clean Slate based off the wonderful Yelp reviews. Mark contacted me towards the end of the day (the same day I reached out). We scheduled an appointment for an estimate with thin the next couple of days. He was prompt and courteous. I showed him 4 sections of the aggregate we needed cleaned and after that I was given an estimate. I was very happy with the estimate that we scheduled the cleaning for the following week. The day of cleaning Mark and his team arrived on time. They got the job done. Our floors look so nice compared to what I have saw when we first moved in. I will be keeping A Clean Slate in my book of vendors I keep and will be recommending them for all flooring needs . Keep up the great work guys! read more

The Clean Slate... Did it again!! My carpets are looking almost new. I wish I would have taken a before and after picture. We had 10 people living in our home for about 9 months. So you can imagine the horror. The carpets were...to say the least...disgusting! They came in and did the entire house! Took them 4 hours but you should see them now! Amazing!! They we were thorough, prices were great, and the most important aspect... they made me a happy mom coming home to a CLEAN house! Thank you Mark & his team!! read more

Mark and his crew are so professional and AWESOME! They were able to clean my chandelier beautifully and in 30min. It's never been cleaned and the glass was extremely cloudy. This is the best service I have EVER used to clean my carpets and tile. They responded quickly to give me a bid for my move out. They cleaned my windows inside and out including the tracks. I've used them 3x now, and plan to again in the future. Initially I had a shower surround hard water spot removal/cleaning done on a rental, and it was night and day difference. I was truly astonished at the results that I didn't even think were possible to achieve. I've since had tile/grout cleaning done on a home and a sectional couch cleaning done, and I'm equally impressed by not only the quality of cleaning, the end result, but also the super reasonable pricing on all services! Next, I'm hoping to schedule an exterior window cleaning. I also have to admit, I have had the company quote me services, and have spaced out scheduling, and wasn't sure how much prices would vary from the older quote, and I was surprised to find out that even after an extended amount of time between initial quote and scheduling service, their prices remain reasonably affordable, and for the quality of their work, it's definitely worth the cost! I would highly recommend this company for their services. read more

My go-to professional cleaning service for windows, carpets, tile/grout, stone wall (cleaning & sealing). Mark has a great work ethic, and he's personable, reliable, responsible, respectful. He and his crew work *fast* and thoroughly. They show up ahead of schedule, they're decked out in neat n clean uniforms, and they're really careful. I don't shop around, but I believe Mark offers very reasonable & fair pricing. He's worked on two houses for us and my biz office. Ever since our contractor brought him in to deep-clean tile/grout in a house we acquired, Mark is our go-to cleaning service. A bonus: he explains how to maintain flooring, carpet, etc in between his visits. Thanks bunches, Mark! read more

I wish these guys could do all the work I need done on my house! From the estimate to the finished work, they were professional, punctual, courteous; you can tell they really care about doing a good job. The finished tile and bathtub looks amazing! My husband commented that we saved thousands of dollars by having them come out and clean rather than replace and it looks like we DID get a new tub and new tile! I've had lots of people in and out as we remodel our home and these guys were the absolute best in costumer service, professionalism, and cleaning up after themselves. They put drop clothes down, cleaned as they went, and even put corner protectors on so my walls and floors wouldn't be damaged as they worked. I highly recommend! read more
