Finally! Jimmy Johns is in Ontario, and it's in my neighborhood, too sweet!…read more My first exposure to Jimmy Johns was when i got sent to Minneapolis St Paul (USA) and Jimmy Johns was across the street from my hotel. Came here on a super rainy day and was instantly annoyed with the layout of the restaurant in comparison to the parking lot, I feel like them retrofitting into this space, really didn't do them any favors, when I trekked through grass and mud to get to the door, I realized I parked on the wrong side of the building, even worse as you only have a walk way for one side? We finally got into the restaurant, and out of the rain and instantly the smell brought me back to both visits at MSP. a lot has changed in my diet where 80% of the menu I can't enjoy anymore. they also offer a toasted subs now, and I got one of the few items that wasn't available for this option, of course! Service was great, order was placed and we were in and out in ten minutes or so. The bread is absolutely killer, took me back to seven years ago, in MSP crazy good flavor and freshness for a throw back The parking lot is a huge negative for this spot, and warrants me not making this a five/five situation. being across from the mall, plus Home Depot/Wal-Mart and a bunch of smaller stores and restaurants in the mix, to get in and out of this section is nuts, and much like this super rainy night, not a lot of dedicated parking for Jimmy Johns Definitely an experience everyone should try, wish it was in the mall instead will be back!

Of course we know Firehouse subs is one of the elites but I always feel like doo doo after eating a Firehouse sub. None of that at a Jimmy Johns though! I felt great! Lol I ordered a 6 inch (Regular) Italian Night Club and added Jimmy peppers, which are essentially banana peppers but better. Such a great sub and all the flavours pop and work. The meat tastes like quality and they're not stingy (cough *subway* cough). I added some mustard on some of the bites and that made everything pop even more. Bread was nice and soft but not soggy. A great sub, all around. The service was extremely friendly and knowledgeable as well. Sorry Firehouse, I'm a Jimmy John's girl now!

Went here based on a recommendation from a friend and was thoroughly impressed by the service and…read morethe food It's NOT a fancy place, but the ambiance is great because it's buzzzing with people ( the tables are close enough that you might be rubbing elbows with whoever is sitting at the adjacent one - but trust me you will not be distracted by anything once the food arrives ) By the time I arrived, my friend had secured a table ( the waiting time was approx 30 mins on a Friday afternoon - proof that the food is great ) I'm not 100% sure which of the many sandwiches and pizzas my friend had ordered - all I can say is that they were both delicious The sandwich can safely be shared between 2 people or you can do justice to it all by yourself if you're famished Do check this place out - you will not regret it

The sandwiches are still good, but the experience is not. They have an order ahead option, but even then you have to wait. What's the point of ordering ahead? I'm sitting here right now, 30 minutes after the pre-scheduled pick up time, with no indication when the sandwiches will be ready. 20 minutes ago the guy told me "1 minute". I think if you pre-order, it should be ready at the pre-arranged time. If you're an easy going type who doesn't mind waiting for a long time while having unclear expectations about how long you'll be waiting, the sandwiches are good.

After a foiled attempt at grabbing food from a different eatery in this plaza, I decided to finally…read morepop into Wayback Burgers to try their wares. I figured I'd keep it simple, so I went with the Classic Burger ("Two beef patties cooked-to-order, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, and of course, ketchup and mustard"). It was ready about ten minutes later and it's...fine. The various components are decent enough, although the tomato was far from ripe, but the burger itself was hardly cooked with care. It didn't really have a beefy flavor and it was totally lacking in texture. And with nothing really to cut through the fat, the whole thing ate really, really heavy. The whole thing was just so middle of the road. Honestly I would've rather been eating a Whopper. (At least that burger has that flame-grilled flavor going for it.) I doubt I'd order from Wayback again, although it's certainly possible they were just having an off night.

C less then enthusiastic cashier behind the counter made the experience significantly worse, after they couldn't hear my order and asked me to repeat myself many time Do you think you could turn the music down? I'm sure this isn't helping the repeating the order? "the music is too loud?" I was waiting for the food, the music wasn't turned down, and the whole situation was overwhelming and made me so irrationally angry The food which was brought home because of the obscene noise levels was less then average, nothing special to write home about. So I left this restaurant, with ringing ears, angry over the overall experience, and nothing redeemable from a taste standpoint. for context as well, I've been to concerts that have been quieter then this experience Won't be back, absolutely save yourself the experience

It's a genuine smashed burger. My first bite of the meat that went outside the bun had me worried that it was overcooked, but it ultimately was just that piece as the rest of it was good and what you'd want from a smash burger. I got a double - which I'd recommend since the patties are on the somewhat smaller side, and really loved the burger. The fries were surprisingly average to my taste. Cut similar to McDonald's, but I didn't find they had much taste and were quite oversalted. Actually, they were very oversalted. I imagine that was a mistake on whoever was doing fries and otherwise they would be average but passible fries. But someone preferring thin cut may feel otherwise. My wife really enjoyed her strawberry milkshake. It doesn't look like it's from ice cream, but rather a cream base that they put in a frother for quite a bit of time. That also held up the order since there others had ordered shakes too, but ultimately it was a very good shake and can't hold that against them. It definitely came out nice and light.
