The owner reached out directly and sent his personal number so we could chat. I explained my experience, he apologized for the misunderstanding on the shop's end, and provided me a refund for the overcharge. He also offered mechanic advice should I need any in the future - even if I didn't go with his shop. My family has used the shop before and had a good experience so I do believe my experience was a fluke. I respect the fact that he made the situation right, it shows he takes pride in his shop and values his customers.

I'm at their mercy because if I'm stuck and I can't get a hold of anyone I'm stuck. You can't get a hold of anyone on the weekends ever because they're closed so what happens if you have trouble on the weekend? You have to wait until Monday I've been trying to get a hold of them for the last hour this morning and cannot get a human on the telephone. Super frustrating because to change my service now will cost me a few hundred dollars. Money to get this thing taken out and more money to go with another facility. I wanted to keep the factory system, but possible upgrade speakers and amp. He let me know that I didn't need to do all of that and I just really needed to add a subwoofer to get the sound I was looking for. I was a bit hesitant because I wasn't sure that would give me the results I was looking for, but WOW it was exactly what was needed. The sound system sounds amazing now. Very clear highs, great lows at any volume. I am only using the subwoofer to about 1/8th of it's ability and it's amazing. The woofer is completely hidden under the cover in the boot of the vehicle, so it doesn't even change the look of the car.
