This was definitely a tough move as we moved from a studio to a 4-story row home, however, they charged me about 3x more than what they originally quoted me for without giving me any forewarning. On top of that, they damaged multiple items (flat screen TV which no. longer works, dressers, room divider, lamp, shoe rack, wood floors, walls). I should have known better when they didn't even bring a dolly or straps to move our heavy items. They stopped responding to my text messages once they were paid. They are VERY quick to call you with a low quote and just as quick to not refund you. They seem kind but are not professionals.

The delivery driver had 7 pages of exceptions, items which he inspected prior to loading on his truck that were damaged. He said 2 pages was normal. Boxes were crushed and punctured. Furniture was broken and scratched. When we got the claim response they offered $172 after our $500 deductible and claimed that since we did the packing it was our fault. I worked at a moving company as a summer job so it's not like I haven't seen things done the right way. It doesn't matter how you pack a box if it is crushed and punctured....oh and it had glass written on two sides of the box. Stay away.

I took the lock off and they charged my the whole month of October. Would not help me at all instead threaten me if I did not pay it by the 6th I would be charged a late fee and the 10th they would report it to my credit and transfer it to a collection agency.

My movers were supposed to arrive between 12-2pm (with the coordinator I spoke to saying it would most likely be 12), but they did not arrive until after 4pm. They were nice guys; but they didn't handle my stuff with care. I have nicks and a huge new scratch on my dresser -- I should've seen the red flag when they didn't wrap it (I've moved this dresser many times before and movers have always wrapped it) but just wanted to get the move over with. This dresser has stayed in perfect condition for several years and several moves, so I'm a bit heartbroken. I also have a hugeeeeee rip on my mattress (picture also attached). I'm unsure of how this will impact support and may have to buy an entirely new one. Throughout the process, I just felt very uneasy about how they were handling my stuff. They broke another one of items as well as a hallway light in my new apartment. I don't know if I have any recourse here because I noticed these things after they left, and don't have any before pictures. I hired them for a total of three hours to empty a storage cube of furniture and boxes as we were moving into our new home. We hired them to do all the carrying of boxes and furniture so that we could clean and start unpacking. My husband and I removed 90% of the boxes while we waited for them to arrive. I have a heart condition and cannot lift over 20 pounds. On January 12, the day after our move, I was assured I would get a credit for the extra hour I paid for since they were only at my house for 1 hour. I have not received the credit.
