That being said it is exteremly well kept, clean and in good overall condition. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The overall experience was great. My only comment is I wish the gate hours were a little more extensive. I think they are probably set the same as the office hours for security reasons.

NOT TRUTHFUL WITH ME - BAD CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE…read more Unfortunately, I had rated them five stars...until I left after several months. I had been out of the country and, after a long drive home, got home from the airport at 2:00 in the morning. I called Anchor's Office Manager and said, "I know today is the last day of the month, but can you pro-rate me one day so I can come in this weekend?" He said they don't pro-rate charges, but for just one day, they wouldn't charge me if I vacated first thing in the morning. I DID...AND A COUPLE OF DAYS AFTER I LEFT, THEY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD FOR A FULL MONTH ANYWAY. Had I known they were going to be untruthful, I would have left the car there for the month! Instead, I paid a full month's rent for a vacant spot that they rented out. I asked the Office Manager to email his supervisor's contact information to me, which he agreed to, but never did. THIS LEFT A VERY BAD TASTE IN MY MOUTH. This was a very bad customer experience.

I called South Meadows and spoke with Creighton to inquire about availability. He was so helpful and gave me all the info I needed. I knew this would be our storage place. When I called to get everything set up, I left a voice mail and within a very short time India called me back and did all of the paperwork needed when we were ready to get the storage set up,. She was great also, so helpful. Because India was new, she wanted to make sure she was doing everything correctly, and had to put me on speaker while she spoke with her supervisors to confirm that she was doing everything correctly. I was impressed with the level of respect the people she was speaking with had toward her. That is customer service at its best. When supervisors treat their new team members with respect and patience, you know it's a great place. This is my storage place for as long as I need them. They are the best!

Everyone I had contact with was professional and friendly and super helpful. My first unit was too small and I realized that after I saw it in person, luckily they had the bigger one available and I was able to pivot there. Place is clean, easy to get in and out of and I think the biggest plus is that it's safe. It's in a great area, and I never had issues with pets (two legged OR four legged kinds) I'd definitely recommend, keeping in mind it's a little off the beaten path if you don't mind that.

I exited due to moving from the Reno area to Tahoe (so it was way less convenient for me to access) and once the rent became market price from my grandfathered $90/month that kinda pushed me to get my act together and clean up. Note they have a 30 day notice clause so account accordingly. The old managers were a lot more flexible about this and were able to just close it out after notice, but this is reasonable policy.

I booked a 10x5 initially, realized it was too small once I got there, and they moved me to a 10x10 drive up with zero issues. Gates are working, and not alot of people going in and out when I was there. I need to go check on things after the big storm last week, but here's hoping there isn't any damage from snow melt or leakage. It's out a-ways. I live in town, but work near storage so that makes it tolerable especially for the price. Would recommend.
