Exceeded all expectations as she went above and beyond to assist me in meeting my storage needs! I'm in the process of moving back to Pompano Beach from West Palm Beach and feeling overwhelmed! As a widow I am taking a leap of faith financially. I did my research looking for the cleanest, safest and most affordable unit in the closest location to accommodate my needs. I spent 2 weeks driving to each storage facility within a 10 mile radius of my new apartment. Some were in iffy areas, some were in bad shape and some employees weren't helpful, borderline rude and condescending. Then I luckily found myself at Storagemart! Great location, a spotless facility with a professional, caring and efficient manager, Nile. I immediately knew we found our storage location! There is still construction on site, but the main facility is already in operation. I moved to my new place and have been renting a unit here for a couple of months. I do like the facility itself, but what happened on Sunday, October 7th is unacceptable. I was heading to a meeting and stopped by Extra Space Storage to get an item i needed. On my way down the elevator all systems stopped working, so the people inside couldn't go up anymore. None of our codes were working and the main door to the storage was wide open. Myself and two more people were trapped inside the gate and the codepad for the main gate was off. I saw another gate at the end of the parking lot through the construction and drove there to check if there was another solution. This gate had an actual lock with a code. More people arrived at the storage and they couldn't get in, as the codepads from the outside of the main gate were off as well. Then i called the Storage number and talked to the manager of this facility Raul, who was quite irritated and said that he would be there in the next two hours. We didn't have two hours for this. I had people waiting for me and the other two clients had training to attend, so i asked Raul to kindly give us the code to the lock from the other gate, so that we can be on our way. His answer was: "I don't know the code and I am going to end this call, I don't even work here". What? Raul arrived after an hour, and what totally blew us away was his in-person interaction with us. We were asking questions, he wouldn't talk to us at all. Then he walked and yelled angrily that he is going to open the lock from the other gate and let us out. He walked there, he walked back. Nothing. Then he opened security panels to engage manual unlock. The whole time he was either yelling or silent in anger, he didn't listen to our questions, he didn't show us any quality customer service, he didn't provide us with any solutions, but he showed us how management here handles situations when things go haywire. After an hour and 45 minutes the gate finally opened and we left. What an ugly customer experience. There is so many storage options, customer service must be on its best nowadays or you can lose business. Im including the pictures I took from my car of the other two people who were stuck with me, and the client who coudn't get in.

I asked to speak with the manager several times but was always told he wasn't on site. We vacated the unit today as there are still cockroaches on that floor. We threw most of our items away as didn't want to bring them into our home.
