I had to book a hotel for several days with my dog, and customer service offered nothing more than a sorry. There is a lack of internal communication with the moving coordinators. Fabian (the driver) and his crew, however, were exceptional. They turned a frustrating situation into a much better experience, and I highly recommend Fabian and his crew. I'm so sick to my stomach. $4k in damages that won't be paid back. They know what they're doing, and they don't care. Please go with any other company that won't completely screw you over. Edit : Also, despite telling them multiple times that this is a military move and it needed to be treated like one, they failed to have the van weighed and did not provide a weigh ticket. This means I lose out of ALL moving incentives. If you've ever PCS'd, you know that's a lot of money. Please please don't use this company for your military move. Edit : I found out this week that the reason I didn't get a weigh ticket is because they processed this as a civilian move instead of a military one. I lost out on $5k+ in moving incentives because one guy didn't want to lose out on a couple hundred bucks. I asked for $3k in restitution because now I'm out $5k in incentives and at least $5k in damages to our couch, our coffee table, our armoire, and our PS5 which was pulverized. Their offer is in - $500 for the thousands in damage they caused. Let me tell y'all - when you set up a move, they don't give you the option to get your move insured. The documents they have you DocuSign do not give you OPTIONS. You HAVE to sign for no insurance. Please please, I am begging y'all, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR MILITARY MOVES. They are a slimy company. They are blaming me for not "taking" insurance when at every single point I was told insurance is not an option. Luis with customer service kept asking if I wanted to hear their offer for restitution, and every time I let him talk he kept going back to "well this is your fault for not getting our insurance" when every single form I was given didn't give me any option for it. The Docusign doesn't give you options - it only activates the box to sign that THEY choose. I don't care if you've heard from someone else that this is a great option - they held our stuff hostage, extorted more money, and blamed us for it. They've clearly gone downhill. The cost for our interstate move of approximately 500 miles ended up at $14,361.67 - more than $3,000 higher than the original quote because of "additional packaging charges." We packed most items ourselves yet the moving crew decided to repack numerous items at their discretion levying an additional charge. The moving crew also did not take care in adequately protecting many expensive furniture items, which were damaged during the move including a cherry work desk, a living room couch and outdoor patio chairs. Prior to the actual move, we paid an additional premium to declare a higher value for our items hoping to protect ourselves from damages during the move. However, the higher coverage value comes with a $1,000 deductible. The damage claims process required extensive information and photographs of the damaged items along with a bill of lading. Based on our calculations the damage to our furniture exceeded several thousand dollars. After carefully following the company's claims procedure, many months later we were offered a "settlement" of $450 with the requirement to sign a full non-disclosure agreement. We expressed our displeasure with the offer but received no further communications with the company. In our view, much of our dissatisfaction could have been avoided with better upfront communications,, particularly on charges for the move. Needless to say, we cannot recommend this company for any interstate moves.

Instead, they subcontracted our entire move out to Seal Pack Movers (out of Jersey City, NJ). ​The worst part was the bait-and-switch: after the truck was fully loaded, they arbitrarily jacked up the price of our move from $6,000 to $10,000. With all of our belongings already loaded on their truck, we were given zero option but to pay it. ​To make matters worse, because our new house wasn't ready to be moved into yet, our items had to be put into storage. Initially, they tried to charge us for this storage even though the contract specifies 45 days are included. Now, they are holding our belongings hostage and demanding an additional $2,000 on top of the already inflated price just to release our property. The man I spoke to about the delivery that informed me about the additional $2000 was worse than Anthony. He wouldn't let me get a word in and continued to speak over me. He threatened me the furniture would be auctioned off if I didn't pay. ​Dealing with Anthony, their representative in the Miami office, was an absolute nightmare. When I called back to confront him, he stopped taking my phone calls and forwarded me straight to Allegiance's main office. The main office offered zero assistance and was just as unprofessional, dismissive, and rude as Anthony. Take the time to look at yelp and other sites that review companies before you even consider dealing with these crooks. I am left to get a lawyer to resolve this issue.
