    I used your company because you had good ratings.And I spoke to you over the phone I explained that I was handicapped had just gotten out of the hospital. I needed to pack up a 5 bedroom house Because my family had passed away, and I was dealing with that. Your company assured me of the best quality and you guys would take care of everything. Your guys completely mishandled, delicate and irreplaceable breakable stuff that was hand painted by my great-grandmother. It's irreplaceable. Here, guys ended up throwing stuff out the bedroom windows and leaving it in the yard. I have pictures Including broken glass left for somebody who was handicapped to deal with. And I think you took advantage of a handicapped woman. Your employees decided to take it upon themselves. After going through stuff in my garage and during a break, your employees decided to ride hoverboards that you had no business being on. You also stated in our final conversation that you were going to send me some money back or put it back on my credit card. Which never happened, so you lied. And again, I felt taken advantage of first for being handicapped, and then for being a woman, because you kept asking where my husband was

    I booked this company for a long distance move from Florida to Idaho. The price was good and they stuck to it. But you don't get what you paid for! First, it took 33 days from pick up to delivery despite being told multiple times "It will be there tomorrow. " When our belongings arrived, the driver was a good guy. However, this moving company brokered out the process. Our belongings arrived. I should say most of our belongings arrived. A tote with art work was not delivered. One item was destroyed: an antique, family heirloom. In addition, our sofa was burned. I have pictures of both items. Next time we will rent a truck and move things ourselves .

    Pushing the safe upside down on concrete

    I engaged Mitchell Horowitz from FFMS to transport my possessions, including a full-sized gun safe weighing approximately 690 pounds. Mr. Horowitz assured me that FFMS possessed the necessary expertise to handle the safe, which was explicitly listed in the inventory sheet. Contrary to these assurances, FFMS failed to honor its commitments and exhibited blatant negligence throughout the moving process. The scheduled pick-up date was October 11, 2024; however, FFMS did not arrive until October 12, 2024, with only two movers who were unprepared and claimed to be unaware of how to handle the safe or that a safe was even included in the move (one man spoke broken English, the other none). I had provided them instructions to contact me before moving the safe so I could demonstrate how to remove its door to make it lighter and safer to transport. They completely disregarded these instructions. Instead, without my permission or knowledge, the movers attempted to forcefully place the safe onto a small hand truck without using appropriate equipment such as straps or protective padding. Additionally, they failed to remove the safe's door as instructed. Hearing loud commotion from the rear of the property, I immediately ran to the back and witnessed the safe violently singing back and forth on the hand truck, resulting in severe scratches on all sides. The movers further aggravated the damage by recklessly turning the safe upside down, destroying its interior. Rather than addressing the damage, the movers dismissively instructed me to file a claim. I immediately documented the damages, taking photographs on site, and sent them to Mr. Horowitz via text message. I called FFMS office to only be told they will email me a claim form. It took months and countless phone calls to Mr. Horowitz and others. When I finally received the claim form I attached the following... 1. Photographs of the damages to the safe. 2. Text messages exchanged with Mr. Horowitz. 3. Receipt of purchase for the safe, evidencing its cost of $1,882 and proof of ownership. 4. Documentation from Gunsafes.com detailing the safe's specifications, value, and weight. 5. The bill of lading contract 6. Inventory confirmation showing the weight of the safe. 7. Proof of payment for all moving fees to FFMS. 8. A copy of the document that was given to me to sign prior to the movers leaving with my possessions. The moving man who was in charge (as the other spoke no English) deliberately failed to note the damage. The conversation about this blatant attempt by FFMS to avoid taking any responsibility for the damages was recorded. Eventually I just gave up and was never reimbursed. Worse moving experience in my lifetime.

    Broke several items and lost others. When I filed a claim I was asked what each item weighed(like I should know what office items weigh) when I asked them to use their guess that is the lat I heard even after calls and emails. Damage done was over $1000 on a $4000 move. Worst mover ever and we have used quite a few in the past. Said they were not a broker yet brokered our move.

    This is one of the broken pieces.  The split in the outer wood is the length of the piece.

Denis of Dixie Movers did a painless FaceTime call with us to provide a quote. We also had a spread sheet with our items being moved that was used to provide an accurate & fair quote. When we had questions leading up to moving day, their administrator Brana was quick and kind with her responses. On the day of moving us out Denis stayed in touch about their arrival time. Thankfully traffic helped us out (although I know it must have been difficult for Denis and his colleague Marat). We thought we were so ready to move and found out the morning of that I had missed several kitchen drawers and cabinets during a recent illness. Denis was so kind and patient, providing us with extra boxes and wrapping paper to keep our valuables safe during transit. He and Marat took such great care of every piece of furniture, every moving box and bag, and when he adjusted the invoice with all of our last minute add-ons he was very fair. The move in to our new apartment home was just as seamless and filled with patience, kindness, and very hard work by Marat. We are forever grateful for this Dixie Movers LLC family. Thank you.

When I spoke with them on the phone, they set me up with a video call to get an exact price for the move. I booked an appointment immediately on the first call, I was so confident they would give an affordable rate with impeccable service. I WAS CORRECT, PURE MOVING DOES NOT DISAPPOINT! Since I was moving from Miami to WPB, it was important for me to have enough movers to get it all done at one time. Five packers and three unloaders were assigned to help with the move. i was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED by their thorough job at packing my ALL WHITE furniture. They took their time, while I went ahead to wait at my new home for another service appointment that day. They made sure everything was EXTRA NEAT AND TIDY when they left the old house. I gave them the key, and they locked up behind them, making my move even easier than expected. Once, the unloaders arrived they took there time to set everything up in the new home. The quote Tad, in the office, gave me was on point though the actual amount due wound up being greater because it took about an hour longer to complete the job (the size and complexity of disassembling and then reassembling my king-sized sleigh bed frame was the culprit). Overall, I was VERY pleased with their responsiveness, quickness and the friendliness of the movers (Roman and his partner) assigned to my job. I'd use them again for sure!

The lack of communication alone created unnecessary stress. The movers arrived late with no call, and when they finally showed up, they went to the wrong address--adding extra time to my bill for an error that was not mine. Once the move began, the issues continued. The crew did not use furniture pads and instead used tape in several instances, which resulted in a piece of my furniture being broken. They did not communicate the damage until the very end, and they left the broken item in the hallway of my apartment building. Because of this, my apartment complex charged me a fee for leaving damaged goods behind. Per my contract, the movers were supposed to pack the kitchen, but the crew was unaware of this and said they didn't have time to complete it. They were also contracted to disassemble and reassemble furniture; however, at the new location they were reluctant to reassemble anything, causing further delays and additional charges. Although they moved items down from a third-floor apartment, they refused to bring several pieces to the second floor of my townhome, leaving them on the first floor. I had to find additional help to get the furniture where it needed to go. No paperwork was completed on-site before the move began, and at the end I was only asked to initial one document. Even though payment had already been pre-authorized, I was required to provide my credit card information again over the phone. When the invoice finally arrived days later, the time listed was inaccurate and appeared to include the period when they were at the wrong address as well as a dinner break before delivering my furniture. This experience was unprofessional, costly, and stressful. Save your money and your peace of mind--look elsewhere for your move.

    First and foremost they sent over 2 inexperienced college aged movers in a truck that was extreme…read moreold..but turns out the 2 kids doing the move were great, worked hard and got the job done...unfortunately they put a 10 inch scratch in an originally priced $2500 LED TV...among other small damages..we chalked those up to just the inexperience..a deep scratch on the screen is not repairable and the tv needs to be replaced...we filed the necessary claim form with their insurance company (they offered a small discount but it was hardly the cost of repair/replace of tv)...after filing claim we did not hear from anyone for 2 weeks. When i contacted the same individual that helped with the initial claim...he advised the claim was denied because what they submitted and what we submitted wasn't the same...seems hard to believe the manager would submit a an error filled claim without coming to see the damage or speak to us or show us a copy of the filed they claimed. We are not aware of what they claimed..did they include the fact the driver had to make a stop for gas...didn't travel the fastest route because they were told to stay off the highway. That being said, we know the cost of tv drop dramatically. We did not ask for full reimbursement...just the cost of current similar tv...which is more than fair for the damages. They don't fully disclose what's required and please ask for a copy of not only the insurance from the company but also of the vehicle they are using. Was told I would hear from that individual 1-2 days before the move to finalize. Move was scheduled for Jan 8 with backup date the 9th. I never heard from her by the 7th, did not know her name and was told by the move coordinators I did speak with that they would have her call me. Got up extra early on the 8th in case they were coming since I did not hear from her. Spoke to others with same result - she finally called me later that morning FOR THE 1st TIME although apparently she told others that I was not returning her calls! Then she tells me I was never scheduled for the 8th and would be moved on the 9th - I tried to tell her that all paperwork gave the 8th as move day with 9 as backup. Word of warning - don't work with Catherine from Florida office as your move coordinator.

We received the estimate and signed the contract with a deposit. The day that the movers were to show up they ended being hours late. They were hired by AVL not official AVL employees. We asked up front if they contracted out and were told no! The driver takes the inventory and now we're being charged an additional fee. All while our boxes and furniture are now on the truck ready to go! Pay or we're not moving your things! Switch and bait tactics! Our things arrived late and broken! Don't use them
