Omar made a lot of promises that I was skeptical about for my move from Miami to Charlotte; he'd be on time, a tractor trailer designated for my belongings only; care of my belongings, take down and set up of beds. Let me clarify a few things, let's not use incorrect information or lies and accept responsibilities since you are the service provider and I am the client. 1. Your team did not use double brackets, or protect anything the correct way, even some cardboard UHAUL boxes are banged up, 2. Damages started happening even before you left the existing home, they damaged the corridor of the existing house, as well the build-in cabinets in the corridor, 3. I was not rude, I even ordered them lunch that they wanted to eat, sat and ate with you whole team. I only started getting angry after lies started to fly around, 4. They told me new location is 51 minutes away, but they got there in 1 hour 40 minutes, 5. They said they are next to the new building manager and my wife, while they were in the next building, while my wife and you were on the phone. They were literally lying with valuable time being lost, 6. If they had not lost 45 minutes with one gym equipment getting stuck in the corridor because the tried moving it side ways on a trolley instead of on its own wheels; another 45 minutes during driving around and another 35 minutes hanging around in the wrong building receiving area, we may not have needed the second day, at least not for the house move. That is more than 2 hours of an 7 hour move lost. Please remember you even felt responsible and deducted 1 hour from the first day but added another 5 hours in the second day, 7. In the second day, your crew for the storage move was very rude from the start, they kept on speaking on the earphones, they never cared about anything and they were asked to leave within 1 hour of starting. In that first 1 hour, they had only loaded only 5 boxes in and had not prepped or wrapped anything. Again, they informed you, incorrectly over the phone showing and claiming work done as of things from the day before that were left in the truck, most of which were also damaged, 6. I never negotiated with you or even asked for price, I had good experience with you before. The reason, I mentioned money was because in the second day of the new house move, everything that arrived upstairs was coming damaged. Small or big, knicks or nacks, our furniture and goods were getting damaged. You sent an email accepting to cover all damages and than stated the furniture had small knicks but the TV's were damaged by your team. You gave your word to put us in contact with your insurance, which you never did nor you properly followed up for the damages that happened. 7. We ended up calling the police and our lawyer due to this situation you put us in, you service was horrible, your team kept on lying to me, my wife and you. They did not assemble anything in the second day, they left everything still wrapped in one sheet of blanket and most items turned out damaged and including 2 TV's that were broken by force. 8. Instead of seeing the result of your service and finalizing the move, your crew took of without proper hand over since you threatened to leave with our goods unless you were paid $2430 before completion of the service. The damage on the furniture was repaired my by team, the TV's were replaced with similar new ones the cost so far to us is $4760. I kindly asked you just to buy us 2 new comparable TV's but instead you offered $350 as compensation and tried to convince me that this is a favor that you are doing. 9. If you ever thought that I was after your $2430, that means you lost site of being in the service industry. You are working with people and their property, valuable or not, these things are important for people, they are part of their lives. 10. the next days, I advised you very politely that you are a business owner and your insurance is only your back up. You as the person is your liability, you had a chance to correct your teams mistakes with us and you chose not to do so. 11. I used you as a moving company because I had good experiences with before. This time, it turned out to be horrible from the beginning and the more I complained, the worse service we received and explanation is that we complained too much and was rude (finally after 2 days of bad service yelled a lot). Normally, if I am rude, I would see no issue with apologizing however with the amount of lies from your team and also you not keeping any of your word, I think I was so angry at that time, that yelling and probably rudeness was such a result of the situation you put me in. Why do you think we did not complain at all the first time around we used your company and called you back. This time, today your service is horrible, your resolution is not acceptable. read more

So I needed to move quickly two weeks ago and I got a quote and left a deposit with a large firm out to Fort Lauderdale that advertises on the radio with the name of a Mediterranean country in it's title, but then when I got the contract I was realising that there were a ton of hidden charges and it was likely to balloon from about an $800 move to something over $2000 or $2000!!! so i quickly llooked for another option and I went on Yelp. I saw there was the send for quote it sent off to 5 companies I got a few responses back and ETG Was one of the first and they agreed they could accommodate me at very short notice. I cancelled the scammers right after. It was a Monday move and I was booking on Friday evening. He didn't ask for any deposit from me. The price was cheaper than the original company and they were great, they covered the floors in the condo hallways and they wrapped everything in black plastic with no surcharges and they just charge me the three hours plus the one hour travel time they were professional they were nice to deal with straightforward,, not too much chitchat just hard work came in got out didn't damage anything and everything landed in my storage absolutely perfectly. These guys saved the day! We had a move set for Monday morning with another company and they completely flaked. They just didn't show and that left us in a major bind because we already had elevators reserved at our new building and all our furniture and boxes ready to go. We called several companies to see if they could help us out last minute. ETG called us back and said a crew was finishing a job and could get to us quickly. They were able to fit me in day of when I got the keys to my apartment earlier than I expected! They were on time and careful with all of my things. They did a great job of wrapping up my couch and tv and other fragile items. They actually got my whole one bedroom done in 3.5 hrs even being on the third floor with stairs. The two men did an amazing job! I would definitely use them again. The only thing I will say is the quote said we could pay credit card, but then when it came to paying they said they couldn't take it. They had to call someone for us to give the card numbers to over the phone and charged us a 3.5% fee (also not disclosed in quote). I contacted ETG and booked my move 30 days prior to the actual month in early October. It was scheduled for a Monday at 9 AM because my apartment complex only allows two 3-hour moves a day due to the freight elevator's limited capacity and I had 9 AM-Noon reserved. I informed ETG (Omar) of this issue when I booked the move and was told that the movers would arrive before 9 AM. On the day of the move, I'm waiting for the movers to arrive at 9 AM. At 9:30 AM, I received a call from Omar stating that the movers had to do a drop-off at the wasted center and discard items that were in the truck from a prior move and that they would arrive by 11 AM - two hours later than scheduled and leaving me with 60 minutes remaining on my elevator reservation. The movers arrived at 11:15 AM and I had to quickly go to the apartment complex Manager and plead for additional time before the next reservation started at 1 PM for a different resident. Luckily, I had pre-packed 95% of my apartment and only large items remained to be packed and moved. Which enabled the moving crew to just pick up boxes and take them to the truck. This was a large one-bedroom apartment. The movers were professional and hard workers. They worked their a$$es off to meet the 1 PM deadline and were successful. Equally, I had a reservation for the freight elevator at my new apartment complex which was now 3 hours behind (movers took a one-hour lunch which they deserved) luckily I had an afternoon reservation but the freight elevator still had a 6 PM cut-off and it was 4:30 PM when unloading started. Again, the movers worked quickly to unload and I was able to convince the leasing office to give us an extra hour until 7 PM. After the movers finished my move I tipped each one (2-man crew) $100 because they worked harder than they should have because their Manager/Owner scheduled a waste delivery prior to a scheduled 9 AM customer move, thus throwing off a complete day's schedule and forcing his crew to work harder than they should have had to work. read more

Was in urgent need of two guys and moving truck to offload the truck that brought my stuff from another state. Omar (the owner) was able to schedule two guys and a truck the very next day. Jorge and Cheo arrived on time and were a pleasure to work with. Thought we would need to take everything down one truck ramp and up the other. Jorge backed the ETG truck up to the other truck - bumper to bumpter - so that they could roll everything straight accross from one truck to the other. Then, at the unload, they had an ''elevator ramp' that allowed them to load up 2 large cart and lower them to the ground. Guessing they saved an hour with their skill and equipment. I was contacted by them after they answered a quote request, for a large cardboard pickup today, on Labor Day. I specified this date in my quote request, because I understand not all businesses are operating. Anyway, I go through the quoting process, send photos, communicate the scope of work and they gave me a reasonable price. However, they go on to tell me they are not available until Thursday or Friday. To this I reply: I requested this date specifically and they replied 'It's a National Holiday.' Well, it would probably help if your reading comprehension skills were better and you didn't respond to quotes requested on days you're not operating. These guys were very easy to work with, and nice. The move went mostly well, but there was a large gouge left in our brand new condo. The moving company has been nothing but trouble to try to get this fixed. First offering to fix it themselves if we bought all the supplies, and then refusing to hire a professional to fix our wall. Several items were damaged (which is to be expected) we used the moving insurance and paid over $600. After over $1400 in damage to a desk, credenza, and a broken Martin Logan speaker the insurance company is refusing to pay for anything. This is always the case with moving insurance, better off not bothering with them. Sad move. read more

I am providing a neutral three-star review just to point out that ETG has a minimum three-hour charge plus charges another hour for travel time so they may not work if you have a very small move. To be clear, my rating is not a reflection of the company in general or the work that they do, just that they may not be the right choice in all situations. I needed two furniture items and some artwork transported 13 miles from my condo on Miami Beach to my house in the City of Miami. When I called ETG for a price quote, I was informed by Omar that the cost would be $90/hr. with a 3-hr. minimum and an additional $95 travel fee for a two-man crew. While I appreciated the straight-forwardness of the quote, I ended up having another company pick up, transport, and deliver the furniture items for me in under one hour for 1/3 of ETG's quote. Again, I don't want this to be a negative reflection of the company in general, I'm just pointing out that other companies may be better suited for you if you have a small move that would only take an hour or two to be completed. read more

They extended their services for a quick room move and I can honestly say everything was done within the hour. The furniture was wrapped and handled carefully and quickly. The movers in charge of the move were Eduardo and Christian and they were both professional and polite. You could see they knew their way around tricky corners with long furniture. I had trouble moving into the place I moved out of because of the furniture I had and how long it was and they made it seem like an ease. I decided to take a chance on them since they have such great ratings and reviews. Today I had my move completed by Jorge and Sonny. They were both very friendly and did not stop working the whole day, even with masks on. My previous building required them to transport my belongings very long distances to a service elevator, and then an even longer distance to the moving truck. I was really nervous about moving in the middle of Covid-19, but Lewis and Nickson were the consummate professionals. They showed up on time, with gloves and masks. I was really impressed with how quickly and carefully they worked - wrapping each item in plastic, between the two of them... loading things and strapping my furniture carefully to the truck. I had bubble wrapped everything before they came, including a bar cart, and they both discussed the bar cart, and advised me to unwrap it, remove the glass, and pack the glass separately to protect it. I hadn't thought of that, but I really appreciated that they were looking out for me and my belongings. Payment was even easier, as they accept check or even Venmo. My wife and I have only moved three times in the past 10 years and the first two times were an absolute nightmare. Our movers were awful both times breaking several expensive items without a care in the world, showing up late and leaving before they put together our furniture. Both times I ended up doing more work than the movers themselves. This time however was different because we found ETG Moving & Delivery. Most companies beat around the bush with pricing and hidden fees. They're honest, up front and flexible. There were no surprises on their end. We were told that we had to move out of our current place within 2 weeks of finding out. ETG was quick to respond, flexible with their times and showed up on time, ready to rock! We had 2 stops, since most of the stuff was going into a storage unit. We assumed it would take about 4-5 hours. It ended up taking about 6-7, but ultimately, we were just so happy with their service. Mario, Maurecio and Fernando didn't complain once about the heavy lifting or the amount of time it took to get this move done. They were friendly, helpful and most importantly, CAREFUL with our belongings! This is a temporary move for us since we're waiting for our building to be completed. (We work for a developer here in South Florida). Not only will we be using them again once we move in 6 months, but we're going to recommend every single client who asks for movers to ETG.
