Now I know what you're thinking, the lowest isn't always the best. Well in this case, Raquel's team turns this dynamic on its head. She called to confirm the day before and the day of the move her guys called me to let me know they were running late due to some unexpected issues. They showed up shortly after the scheduled time and that's when the fun began. They were polite and each introduced himself first. They then took stock of everything that had to be moved and got to work. I could not believe how quickly they took apart my son's bunk bed. They wrapped everything thoroughly and moved it carefully. I am so impressed with the service these guys offered that this is actually my first ever review on Yelp! I just had to give credit where it is due. Due to my work, I move around South Florida every couple years, and had used movers from companies such as Flatrate before. SF Local Moving company was highly recommended to me by a coworker that had used their service before. I dealt with Raquel and was very professional and helpful. The quote that I received via email when I made the reservation was clear and no hidden fees. On the day that I was scheduled to move, my apartment did not open the gate to the loading dock. I spoke to Raquel and Abe ( the owners) regarding the issue, and they were more than happy to accommodate me for the next day. The movers were very courteous, professional, efficient in moving my stuff. They did not procrastinate so they could charge me for the extra time. There were no hidden fees. Raquel is an angel who came in last minute and saved my friend after Good Greek left her stranded. Good Greek told my friend they couldn't get two sleeper couches out the door after making a huge hole in the popcorn ceiling, gouging walls, and destroying doorframe. Mike and Donnie came right in with huge smiles and packed the couches and had them out the door in less than 60 seconds! They also moved very heavy solid wood furniture down the street to her sister's house and other heavy items for donation. They were all so professional and friendly. It was such a difference from the lying and berating from the other company. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for a mover or hauler. Can't say enough good things about SF Local Moving, Inc. They were super responsive and transparent about their prices for a move from Hollywood to Parkland on the front end and offered an excellent value. So good that I was a little nervous the days leading up to the move. I received a confirmation the day before and the morning of the move they showed up exactly at the time promised. After a quick walk through they got right to work and worked professionally and efficiently wrapping and loading the furniture and loading up the boxes on the truck. Once they got to the moving destination they once again quickly unloaded everything, asking where things went and setting things back up. This is the best moving company I've ever worked with. It was also the easiest company I've ever worked with. I called Abe one day, we picked a day for the move, he said he'd be there at 9am and emailed me a confirmation. He never asked for a deposit which surprised me a lot. Abe is the owner and he also shows up on moving day to fully participate in the move. The team came exactly when they said they would (I think they only schedule one move a day). I have some heavy antique pieces of furniture that I was very worried about (one had been damaged in a prior move which broke my heart). Abe and SF Local Moving were incredibly careful with my furniture and I'm so grateful. Also, in my opinion, this company is really inexpensive for the service it provides. Outstanding service!! I used Abe years ago to move my customized queen sized Canopy bed from Mar-a-Lago that was too big for my bedroom, and he and his team did an outstanding job. We moved last week in the same building and still love how professional, courteous, timely and patient this company is. As mentioned in other reviews, they find ways to do the impossible and very carefully. Zero marks on walls or furniture. They disassembled and reassembled everything with true care. Wish all businesses operated like them. Raquel was also very quick to reply to my requests and confirm/adjust scheduling needs. I will always use SF Local Moving and will recommend them to everyone. This review is long over due. I used this moving company back in June when I first moved into my new apartment. I called around different companies to get the best price and this company was the winner. With moving companies you have to be careful but the guy on the phone, "Abe" was competent so I figured they were a reliable company. They showed up to my house right on time with a HUGE box truck. To my surprise, Abe was the owner of the company and he was working alongside the 2 other employees. It is nice that the owner himself is right there making sure non of my property was damaged during the move. At the end, I tipped the guys because it was such a smooth move. If I ever move again, I will be using this company exclusively. They were extremely professional and efficient. We used these guys to move from South Beach to Mid Beach. I scheduled with our building to reserve the elevator from 1-5, because I expected it would take at least 4 hours to move in. They were so efficient that we handled the move in in less than 2 hours. They could have dragged their feet if they wanted, in order to charge me more but they didn't. They were efficient and honest the entire time. That's not to say that speed was their only concern. We used SF Local Moving to move from our house into an apartment 1 yr ago. They were on time, thorough, careful. We had a lot of glass furniture i.e. tables, display cases and every thing was perfect. Some furniture had to be taken apart and reassembled nothing was damaged! They moved my son out of a 2 story apartment in less than half the time it had taken when he moved in. Again everything was moved without any incidents by a very friendly hard working team. These guys are amazing. Their office coordinator is incredibly responsive and thorough. The guys were on time, friendly, funny, and so darn fast. Billing is straightforward and they definitely don't try to hustle you for an extra tip. They are compassionate and kind, too. They moved my elderly mother twice and i would have no hesitation to call them again and trust them to treat her with respect even if I wasn't around. The movers came on time, had a big clean truck, were very polite, and were very careful with all of our belongings. We had moved to an apartment based around Young circle, Hollywood. Moved into Hollywood back in March - Excellent company, the movers were very helpful and careful with our things.
