Joe P was beyond pleasant, helpful, and flexible with scheduling (and patient with some necessary rescheduling). Brickhouse provided quality service all the way, from scheduling with Joe to the actual move by him and his team of two equally pleasant young men. I would be remiss if I didn't give one example of how Joe went the extra mile. To assist my friend with coordinating this move, which had a few moving parts involving third and fourth parties, Joe picked up his bed in advance of the move and held it until the day of the move. He noticed there was no box spring with this bed, so before the day of the move, he'd taken a large piece of plywood he had and cut it to fit the bed frame, and created an extra piece for the center of the platform for added strength, making a temporary mattress platform. That was a godsend. Then the cherry on top: After moving all the belongings inside, his team went on to the next job while Joe stayed behind and put the bed together! In my experience, such outstanding customer service is rare these days. Brickhouse gets five stars for that alone. I'd give ten, if I could, for the entire moving process which went so smoothly, thanks to Joe. The initial quote was very reasonable but Joe never charged a cent more than he initially quoted, even though he provided additional services. I can't say he'd be able to do something similar for every other client in every other situation, but I can say this: Joe is a stand-up guy. I have no qualms recommending Brickhouse, and I'd hire him again in a heartbeat.

They packed all of our belongings, organized the boxes accordingly based on the part of the house they were from by labeling them and secured our fragile belongings safely (example covered our new coffee table with blankets and tape around so it wouldn't get scratched). Here's the thing about old documents,like maybe some of you out there, I still had a lot left going back some 16 to 17 years. Now like a lot of people out there I have a shredder. This is where neighborhood parcel comes into the picture. They are quick and efficient. If you take the drive up there my advice is to look for parking space 999( no not even making this up) as that is right in front of the building. They remembered me from a few years ago (hey I had a ton of old papers then). They are friendly as well and weigh each loose bag by the pound. Ironically I filled out and had them mail out the notarized certificate of document destruction. They will also email it to you only if you prefer. I can't tell you how much time they saved me (as I am getting to that stage in life of weighing time vs. money vs. the fact I won't do it all myself in this case). The relief of knowing that these old documents I was never going to look at again were all gone is priceless. Two suggestions for the business: * Giving narrower time windows would be a big convenience boost to customers. No one wants to wait around all day to receive a delivery. * It'd be great if you offered boxes (reusable or not) for things like picture frames, TVs, or anything else too big to fit in the green crates. Those kinds of boxes are a hassle to buy, and a hassle to dispose of. It's something customers would be happy to pay extra for.
