The place is well lite, clean, simple to work with and secure. Jose the Manager was a delight to deal with as well. Highly recommended.

WARNING ABOUT SHIPPING A VEHICLE WITH USHIP…read more I want to share my experience so hopefully it does not happen to someone else. I booked a vehicle shipment through UShip. Once my vehicle was picked up, things immediately went wrong. My car disappeared and I had no real information about the company that picked it up. When I contacted UShip for help, I was told to stop calling and only communicate through email with their legal department and customer support. After that, no one returned my calls, no one provided answers, and no one helped locate my vehicle. To make things worse, whoever had the car disabled my OnStar, so I could no longer track where the vehicle was going. When I asked UShip for the transporter's information, they claimed they did not collect or verify basic information such as insurance, DOT numbers, or even proof of who the transporter actually was. In other words, someone can pick up your car through their platform and they may not even know who they really are. Another thing people need to understand is this: when you voluntarily give your car to a transporter, many police departments will not list it as stolen if the vehicle disappears. They often treat it as a civil contract dispute, meaning they say no crime has been committed and tell you that you must sue the company yourself. If that happens, you may never see your car again, and in many cases your insurance company will not pay the claim because it was never officially listed as stolen. In my situation, I was fortunate that one detective took the time to review all the evidence I had gathered. Based on the information I provided, he agreed that this was not simply a contract dispute and had the vehicle listed as stolen. After doing my own investigation and working with law enforcement, I was able to obtain historical OnStar location data showing where the vehicle had traveled. That information led police to an operation where vehicles were being loaded into shipping containers to be sent overseas. My car was found inside one of those containers, and law enforcement recovered around 30 stolen vehicles that were returned to their owners. If that detective had not taken the time to listen and list the vehicle as stolen, I likely would have never recovered my car and my insurance company would never have paid the claim. My advice: be extremely careful about who you trust to ship your vehicle. Make sure you know the transporter, their insurance, their DOT registration, and who is actually responsible for your car. Based on my experience, *using UShip can leave you completely unprotected if something goes wrong.

First Southern Van Lines - shattered furniture

Absolutely terrible experience. I would strongly recommend avoiding this company unless you want to…read morebe overcharged, ignored, and left with broken belongings. I was originally quoted $1,551.12 with an 8% discount and was told the move would likely cost closer to $1,200 because the movers probably wouldn't need the full loading time. In reality, they only took about 1.5 hours to load and 1 hour to unload, and I actually had LESS furniture than what I originally described during the estimate. Despite that, my final bill ended up being nearly $2,000. The company added almost $400 in packing material charges for wrapping things that absolutely did not need to be wrapped, including pillows, blankets, and even a pool float. The 8% discount I was promised also mysteriously did not apply to many of these added charges. To make matters worse, three of my items were shattered during the move. The most concerning part is that when I signed the "Interstate Bill of Lading Contract - Calculation Addendum," the option for full replacement coverage had already been crossed out by the company, leaving me with only the option that limits reimbursement to $0.60 per pound per damaged item. Since the move, my family and I have attempted to contact the company over 8 times by phone and voicemail for clarification on the charges and to discuss the damaged items. No one has responded. We were even left on hold with the company line for several minutes with no answer. At this point, it feels like this company's business model is quoting one price, dramatically increasing charges at the last minute, damaging customers' belongings, and then disappearing when it's time to take responsibility. Do not use this company unless you are prepared for surprise charges, broken furniture, and zero customer service afterward.

They never once disclosed my items would be transferred multiple times, and handle with negligence. I was quoted under $2600 but somehow ended up paying $5200 and left with over $2000 in damaged items. Mind you, I only paid because my belongings were being held hostage. Lisa is rude, and Melissa is even worse. Their offer to shut me up was a laughable $100. It's alright though, my lawyers are at work.

Hands down the BEST moving company I've ever worked with!…read more I recently moved to Florida and found Lifestyle Moving and Storage on Yelp. At first, I was skeptical because they had no reviews in Florida--but just like me, they're relocating too! And let me tell you, I'm SO glad I gave them a chance. They helped me move from a rental in Plantation into my own condo not far from there, and the experience was smooth from start to finish. I texted them a photo of my apartment furniture and VASO quickly gave me a quote. Even when my move-out date changed, they were super accommodating and responsive. On move-in day, they texted me early to confirm and arrived right on time with a truck that fit everything perfectly. Milos and Carlos were absolutely amazing--professional, fast, and extremely careful with all my belongings. They wrapped my glassware, bed, large furniture, and packed my flat screens and clothes using a special clothing rack. They even handled all the boxes I packed myself. I couldn't believe how quickly and efficiently they worked while treating all my things with care. Thanks to Lifestyle Moving and Storage, my move was easy and stress-free. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone moving in or around Florida!

I have moved many times across the country, and I can confidently say that this was by far the best experience I've ever had with a moving company. From the moment they arrived, the team was prompt, professional, and incredibly hardworking. They handled everything with care and efficiency, clearly knowledgeable and well-prepared for the task. What stood out the most was how much they genuinely cared--not just about my belongings, but about making sure I felt supported throughout the entire process. It truly felt like they had my back every step of the way. Their honesty and dedication were refreshing, and it made a stressful day so much easier. If you're looking for a moving team that combines skill with heart, look no further. I highly recommend them and will be referring anyone I know who's planning a move. My experience with All My Sons moving:…read more Do not hire this company is the first thing that I would say for the following reasons. The first reason is the company's and its employees' failure to come to the site prepared. I had two phone calls the day before the two employees arrived to explain what I needed packed. I asked if I needed to provide any packing materials, and I was assured that the company would provide them, which turned out to be a lie. During the phone call, I explained that I have a sectional sofa, two matching recliners, two nightstands, a dresser, a dining room table and chairs, a sleeper sofa, and (1) an 82-inch TV, and (2) a 55-inch TV. The televisions were all wall-mounted and would need to be removed from the wall before packing. All of my furniture was going into a POD that would be picked up the following day. When the employees arrived, they did not have enough packing materials to complete the job, and they complained that they had been given the assignment at the last minute. These two employees placed all of my leather furniture into the pod without wrapping the items in anything that would protect the leather. I even heard one employee tell the other that they needed to hurry. See, employee one wanted to be done with the job in time to go watch his son's football game. In total, I had 4 televisions; however, the ten-year-old 40-inch television in the master bedroom only needed to be removed from the wall and left in the room. What I told the employees was this: "The 82-inch TV needs to be removed and packed." I walked into the master bedroom. This TV needs to be removed from the wall and left leaning against the wall; it's not going with the pod." I walked him upstairs, where each of the guest bedrooms had a fairly new 55-inch smart TV. Me, "I need both of these tv's removed from the walls and packed. I do have one TV box. I'll go tomorrow and get another TV box. WHAT WAS DONE: The employees removed all the televisions, placed one of the 55-inch TVs into the U-Haul box designed for such TVs; however, the TV was not wrapped in a blanket to protect it from damage, and none of the foam inserts were used. It was just left in the box leaning against the wall by the front door. After the employees were paid and quickly left, I discovered several things. The claim that the pod was full and could not hold any more boxes was a lie. With my aunt's help, I placed at least 8 more medium-sized U-Haul boxes into the pod. In addition, while packing those additional boxes, I noticed a small, wrapped item beneath the 55-inch TV box that was leaning against the wall. ALL My Sons hires' thieves: I unwrapped the TV and discovered that the old 40-inch TV, which should have been left in the master bedroom, was wrapped in a blanket, and the other 55-inch TV was gone. Yes, one of the thieves stole my 55-inch TVs and tried to hide his crime by wrapping the old 40-inch TV in a blanket and placing it behind the 55-inch TV, leaning against the wall. I had to fight to get my TV back, and the argument given to me was that I told the employee that I did not want the TV. My question will always be: what gave him the right to walk out of my house with anything, under the impression that because I said I didn't itemize one, he could take the more expensive item number too? The other issue I have is that the 55-inch TV was stolen on Friday and wasn't returned until Saturday. The TV was brought back wrapped in a blanket. The TV was unwrapped so that my sister could inspect it and plug it in to make sure it worked. After, she verified that the TV worked. The employee for All My Sons walked out with the blanket, so they did not re-wrap the TV. I give this company an F. The employee clearly stole the TV and was not even fired for theft; they just claimed this was a misunderstanding. Shelia C.
