With my first move in 2020, there was a bit of a scheduling issue, causing the movers to arrive later than originally scheduled and with a van rather than a truck (I had been told that it would be a truck in order to fit all of my belongings into one trip). Therefore, it ended up taking two trips. However, the owner made things right by only charging me the original rate for one trip. Mistakes happen and I'm fine with it, as long as the company owns up to it and makes it right. And there were no similar issues with my second move in 2026. The guys had furniture wrap and blankets to protect my belongings. During both moves, I did not find anything that was damaged at all. What more can you ask for!? I highly recommend Man With a Van! In fact, I'm likely going to use them again soon to help with some items that I will need to move into storage.

Man With A Van gave my friend two quotes: a cheaper quote for Two Guys with a Van and a more expensive quote for Three Guys with a Truck. My friend sent the more expensive rate for Three Guys with a Truck. But then this dispatcher tried the blame game of "You didn't specify Truck" when to our surprise only Two Guys and a Van showed up. Lemme ask you a question. If I offer you a hotdog for $3 and a burger for $4, and you hand me 4 dollars, wouldn't anyone with a working brainstem assume that meant YOU WANTED THE BURGER? But my friend was sweet and offered: "Maybe y'all can come back tomorrow with three guys and a truck, because it's really a three person job", to which the movers declined. After a quick call, the dispatcher said there'd be no additional charge for extra trips due to the smaller vehicle. What's more is that one of the two Movers had a bad back and couldn't take the stairs like the other dude. So at some points the job is only getting done by one dude (you could argue one-and-a-half dudes). If THREE guys should be able to make the move of loading and unloading in TWO hours, then HALF that much manpower means... you guessed it: it's gonna take at least twice as long! Not to mention they spent extra time stacking things like Jenga inside the van to make it all fit in one trip. Because the job (that my friend agreed to pay $500 for three guys and a truck) took so much longer with one and a half guys and a van, Paul upcharges an extra $300!! Again, my friend is nice, and they're trying to hash this out cause they didn't get what they paid for, regardless of it it took more time. (And again, of course less manpower means more time). But instead of having a conversation with my friend, Paul starts SCREAMING at them, cursing at them, saying "You're Full Of Sh*t!" and threatening legal action immediately! My friend is begging through tears that they want to make this right; begging him to STOP yelling and panicking them. The mover's felt so bad and embarrassed overhearing Paul act like a jack*ss on the phone that one even offered to pay the remainder, but my friend, still shook up and in tears, said that they wanted to make this right and moved what little money they have around to pay as much as they could. We're ALL struggling out here, and the movers def deserve to get paid. I'm sure the dude with the hurt back needs more money and easier hours, but the company is working him to the bone. But to have this dude Paul berate and coerce my friend, spitting venom over the phone? Shouting until my friend is begging in tears for him to stop? I'm never gonna forget that. And this company needs to make things right. The job took long because of Dispatch's mistakes. They sent 1.5 guys to do a 3 man job, without the agreed upon equipment no less. If you want a stress-free experience: steer clear. If you want some jerk from New York taking out his daddy issues on you: you've come to the right place.

After leaving the military and relocating several times, I can confidently say this is one of the best moving crews I've experienced. The office staff was responsive, providing all the information we needed to prepare for our move. They quickly answered my calls when I had questions just days before. Andre and his moving team were outstanding. They arrived on time at both loading locations and efficiently loaded our belongings in record time. They delivered everything to our new home with care, ensuring that sensitive or sentimental items received special attention, especially in our 3-story Philly row home with many stairs. Thanks to their exceptional teamwork, they completed the job at least three hours ahead of schedule, saving my family hundreds of dollars. We were so grateful that we bought the team pizza and tipped them for their amazing work. Thank you once again! I would gladly refer this company and team to anyone planning a big move.

Neither happened. They repaired the piece then wanted to charge me to move it to it's new destination. I would have moved it if I knew that was the course of action. Instead, they wanted to charge me an additional $250 for one piece of furniture. In addition to the damaged furniture piece. The crew dragged and scratched my beautiful wood floor in multiple locations across the grain of wood. What that means is the scratches are still visible after the "repair" was completed. The owner, Brittany, could care less. She is snarky and extremely rude. AVOID AVOID and then RUN

    DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!…read more We used this company a little over 2 years ago to move from New Jersey to South Florida and we were NOT happy. Not only because right AFTER we signed the contract, our contact person and the owner of the company, ALEX, became very rude and aggressive, but also because although we had a deadline by which we needed our furniture and boxes to be delivered, he was a week late. No sorry, no explanation, no trying to work things out and maybe refunding some of the money for not complying with his own contract. NOTHING. Just "do you want your stuff or NOT?" Well, that was our experience. Fast forward to this year when our elderly parents decided to move to South Florida from New Jersey as well. Against our advice NOT to use this guy, they decided to go with him anyway. Well, they are sorry now. Oh, and by the way, these people are an elderly in their 70s. Well, they were completely ripped off and this is putting it nicely. Alex was the only person that they dealt with the entire time. They needed to pack their house first (due to the fact that they sold it very quickly) and then move to South Florida a couple of months later. Alex and his guys detached and pulled the furniture apart. And the family helped packed the boxes and some of the valuables. One of those valuables was a large antique Italian mirror valued at over $2,000, a prized possession of this family. They pleaded with Alex to pack it adequately to make sure that it does not get damaged during the move. The family members packed it as much as they could themselves, wrapping it in plastic and blankets, and then asked Alex to put it in the box to which he replied: "don't tell me how to pack and move stuff. I do this for a living." Well, that mirror arrived completely broken. Alex would not return calls or address this situation in any way. Why would he, right? He made sure he got paid before the furniture was even taken off the truck and unpacked. And then, he disappeared and would not answer calls. AT ALL! During the packing of the furniture, Alex told the couple that they needed to give him a deposit of $400.00 for the "old and dirty" large blankets that were used to wrap some of the big pieces. However, upon delivery of the furniture, he was supposed to take the blankets back and return the $400.00 deposit. He failed to do that, claiming that the deposit was only refundable during 30 days. That was a lie. He never told the couple that there was a 30 day limit and he knew very well that the couple had to pack up their house and put everything in storage in New Jersey and then move to Florida a couple of months later. Again, the ripped them off an extra $400.00 for the ugly and disgusting blankets that he uses during his moves when it is his job to use these things to pack people's valuables in the first place. Also, upon arrival of the furniture at the designated address in South Florida, the movers that delivered the furniture DID NOT know how to put it back together because they were not the same movers that pulled the furniture apart during the packing. So, the couple ended up paying extra money to some local guys who were able to put the furniture together. Alex, once again, was nowhere to be found. He wouldn't answer calls or respond to voicemail that the couple left over and over again. Finally, when the furniture and the boxes were actually moved, not everything was delivered. Alex left back approximately 20 boxes, claiming that there was no more space on the truck for those boxes. Well, since he made the couple PAY THE REST OF THE MONEY when the truck arrived in South Florida - the movers basically told them either you pay now and we deliver it OR you won't get your stuff - he failed to deliver the rest of the 20 boxes COMPLETELY. The couple, in fear of using another scamming moving company, decided to ship those boxes via UPS, paying an extra $1,000 on top of what they already paid US Power Moving. Alex and his moving company completely ripped off this elderly couple during their move. They paid over $6,000 all together and ended up with damaged valuables and horrible moving experience. SHAME ON YOU ALEX, PERSONALLY, FOR TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THESE NICE AND TRUSTING PEOPLE.

Again I got the money that he quoted me in cash . Again he claim people start early and now the $800 move became $1100. Then he demanded payment before unloading the TV's . I said ok . This is $800 cash and the $300 is a check. He refused and did not want to unload my TV's I had to call the police to fix him up. He is Bad . Be curful.

    I just want to personally thank all the employees at Safeguard storage in Fox Chase for protecting…read moremy personal belongings and all things most dear to me. I never once met the manager who handled the job for me and every time I called him, he immediately remembered who I was. We never met, ever and somehow he had all knowledge of who I was and my units belongings. ALWAYS. Come on now, that is most impressive if you ask me. The person who truly is a leader, and always at work is Terry. Terry's the manager at safeguard storage in Fox Chase. I strongly suggest without a doubt, Terry deserves to be elevated to a much higher position because he is ALL about Safeguard storage. Seriously, the man loves to talk about Safeguard storage to anyone who will listen. Terry has the most genuine professional relationships with all his employees. Terry is respected and for everything that I have experienced this past year from April, 2024 until February of 2026, I am the one with first hand knowledge of how the business at Safeguard storage in Fox Chase Pa 19111 is operated. We found this place online and were not disappointed. The service at the front counter was exceptional! Nicole was a rockstar and not only set us up with the best deal with utmost trust and confidence in this place, but she hooked me up with local coffee, shared with me some of the awesome things that I should check out in my new hometown, and had a great sense of humor. I needed all of that!! The storage unit is amazing and very secure and clean! The accessibility hours are wonderful and easy access for after office hours. When we returned a few days later to put more boxes in the unit, the employee was equally as fantastic and chill, and I remain impressed. I would recommend this place to anyone!!
