There are people living there inside their units, and take up the walkway with their things. There have been people smoking inside their units, causing the entire floor to stink. We found a roll of duct tape thrown on the top of the wired fence ceiling of our unit with a loop at the end of it. It's just not a safe feeling environment. I just went to the office and was kicked out by Sonia because she had to go to lunch. It was 4:42pm and there was another lady inside the office as well. Update (answer to Cube Smart's reply): I brought the issue of people living there to the attention of on-site personnel. I did this more than a couple of times on several occasions more than two months ago. Their last answer was that other people had been complaining about the same issue and had brought it up to management, but they responded that they were being accused of racism and therefore would not do anything about the issue. I don't have the time to help run cube smart and I am paying for cubesmart's services, not the other way around. All it takes is for someone to review the cameras for the last few months to see what is happening...but apparently they don't want to do anything about it. I will not waste any more of my time communicating with them. I have put in my cancellation of my unit and have contracted another unit from another company.

There's no air conditioning in my unit, so you probably couldn't store anything that's temperature sensitive. The units are in rows, and you can pull your car right up to it, which is pretty convenient. However, the rows are pretty narrow- barely wider than one car- so if someone else is blocking your unit, you'll have to wait. I was pleasantly surprised a few weeks ago after we got a week of rain and everything in Kendall was flooded. I thought that for sure there would be flooding in my unit and that my boxes would be wet, but nope, it was dry; their drainage must be pretty good. The office staff is nice, and they're happy to take your payment over the phone if that's easier for you.

My only note is that when I made the reservation she called the next day to discuss the reservation and didn't leave a message (I don't answer numbers I don't know). She called the day after that too and left a message that time, but the message was in Spanish so I didn't understand it. I know we're in Miami, but please at least leave the message in BOTH English and Spanish. Otherwise, the experience was seamless and Amanda was helpful.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! THEY WILL AUCTION OFF YOUR UNIT WITHOUT EVEN NOTIFYING YOU!!!!…read more I rented a unit at Public Storage on 10460 SW 72nd Street in May, 2021. I paid the monthly fees and insurance for 5 years. Every six months to a year, they raise the price to the point that by end of 2025, I was paying about $400.00 for the smallest unit when initially my contract stated and I paid less than $200.00 a month including the insurance. Not only that but when I forgot to make the January 1, 2026 payment, they sent me a reminder and I paid it on January 21, 2026, including the past due payment, late charges of $157.00, $50.00 for a lien fee, for a total payment made of $515.55. The payment receipt stated that the past due payments and all fees were paid on January 21, 2026 which brought the account current and stated that the next amount was due February 1 2026. On January 30, 2026, 9 days later they auctioned off my unit and I lost all of my children's keepsakes since birth among many valuables. I have the email that I paid the past due amount and my next payment was not due until February 1, 2026. THEY DID NOT EVEN NOTIFY ME THAT THE UNIT WAS BEING AUCTIONED OFF, BY PHONE, EMAIL OR IN ANYWAY WHATSOEVER. I FOUND OUT BECAUSE WHEN I WENT TO MAKE THE PAYMENT ONLINE, I DID NOT HAVE ACCESS TO MY ACCOUNT AND CONTACTED THE FACILITY AND WAS TOLD BY DAVID THAT MY UNIT HAD BEEN AUCTIONED OFF ON JANUARY 30, 2026. ON THAT SAME DAY, JANUARY 30, 2026, THEY SEND ME AN EMAIL ADVISING THAT THEY HAD INFORMATION THAT MY UNIT WAS UNLOCKED OR IMPROPERLY LOCKED WHEN THEY KNEW IT WAS THEM THAT OPENED THE UNIT BY CUTTING THE LOCK ON THE UNIT.

Don't be afraid to move into another unit or completely leave this storage facility. A new customers rate is average 50% cheaper then any existing customer. I was tempted on renting under a different name to get the rate instead i settled for moving under same name. Worst part was i lost sq feet. See measurements i have included. I had 8 container bins that did not fit inside my new unit. I had to take it home and store in my garage. I am not happy.... sad the rate i am paying and there is no loyalty in this industry...

After calling corporate, they could not honor the price that I reserved online in any other location. This is just ridiculous! After asking to speak with a supervisor, I was sent to voicemail. Please make sure if you use any Public Storage facilities that you actually get an option to pay for the unit online. For me, it did not give me option to pay, and I feel like it was to bring me in and up charge the same unit.
