We ran into some complications with the sale of our house, and Vicky and Rob were incredibly flexible with our timeline. They took the time to talk everything through with me and honestly helped calm me down during a super stressful situation. That level of care meant a lot. On moving day, they showed up right on time and worked so hard the entire time. They made the most of every minute (which we really appreciated since they charge hourly) and handled all of our large items efficiently and carefully. And I have to mention--they packed our storage unit like an absolute dream. I didn't even know it was possible to make everything fit so perfectly! O.K. back to the Stone Age like we're at Walmart. This is a very large U-Haul rental center. I don't understand how they can't afford to fix the card reader so that tap to pay works. Then when I told the guy I only had Apple Pay, and asked if he could take my card info (I've done this before at other U-Haul locations) and he told me that he couldn't. He was completely unhelpful and his demeanor told me that if it wasn't easy for him, he didn't want to do his job. And then when I went to return it, whoever designed this complex failed to consider the size and how much equipment lives here. The return area is a joke compared to the rest of the joint. All in all at this facility, customer service just about leaves everything to be desired. I definitely would recommend you just go to another one even if the equipment you need is super far out of the way. It's so NOT worth wasting your time or money here.

I had a great move today with Sacramento Brothers, I really couldn't have gone smoother. It was a 1…read morebedroom apt. in-town move in Woodland. I used Yelp to get several quotes and I picked Sacramento Brothers because they had the best quote and quick communication. They showed up the day of the move on time and got right to work. The truck was packed before I knew it without incident. I was also leaving a couple things behind and they were thoughtful enough to move them downstairs for me. They showed up at the new place quickly and started unloading ASAP. I had leaf a couple things I needed across town so I left them to it. By the time I got back they were finished. They quoted me a 3 hour minimum and finished just before 3 hours. They didn't try to pad the time at all and the bill was exactly what they quoted me. I'll definitely use Sacramento Brothers next time I move and they even offer a small discount for repeat customers. You should definitely at least get a quote from them if read all this.

So the county paid for my move. I've got to be the only client ever who had they're keys put on top…read moreof the clients vehicle, instead of handed to me. I was extremely ill with the flu. The mover handed me paperwork for signature, so there's really no good excuse not to hand me my keys. Mover was adimint he told me I'm putting your keys here, on top of vehicle, but then turns around and asks if I searched my van thoroughly. That set of keys costed me fifty bucks I didn't have! Oh and his advice was to back track my road trip, maybe ide find them on the side of the road somewhere. Mind you, ide have to drive into oncoming traffic, or walk along the freeway for about twenty miles. Cold hearted in my observation. Unfortunately,as soon as the country worker was gone, so was they're professional respect for me.

I have so much random clutter in my house and sometimes I feel like I'm being swallowed alive. I grew up in a household where you could never throw anything away, so wanting to live a minimalist lifestyle goes against my childhood programming. I hired Christa to make sure I carved out time to declutter because much like hiring a personal trainer, even though I know how to workout, unless I have someone to keep me accountable I won't do it. I want to be a good role model to my children and the last thing I want is to pass on my inability to remove clutter from my space. Christa has helped me get rid of a mountain of clutter by my washer/dryer that I'd been meaning to sell on Facebook marketplace.
