    Our company worked as an independent contractor for Bellhop until June 2025. We stopped accepting…read morejobs from them due to low pay and ongoing issues with their business practices. Since then, we have had absolutely no business relationship with Bellhop. Today, I woke up to find a $485.47 debit taken from our account by Bellhop with no prior notice, invoice, explanation, or authorization. We do not owe Bellhop money, and there were no unresolved balances when we stopped working with them over a year ago. What is even more concerning is that I have been unable to reach anyone at the company who can explain why this charge occurred or help resolve the issue. Taking money from a former contractor's account more than a year after the business relationship ended, without any communication or documentation, is unacceptable. If Bellhop believes this charge is legitimate, they should be able to provide clear documentation and an explanation immediately. Until then, I am left disputing an unexpected withdrawal and trying to get answers from a company that appears unwilling or unable to respond. Based on this experience, I would strongly encourage other contractors to closely monitor their accounts and carefully review any agreements they have with Bellhop. Transparency and accountability are essential in business relationships, and unfortunately, that has not been my experience here.

When I got a text about my move yesterday, I called to confirm my rescheduled move and got the AI that opened a ticket for me that no one responded to. This morning I got a message that my movers were on the way. So I called again. I finally ended up speaking with Mark. He was very rude and condescending. He would not let me finish my sentence, and had zero empathy. While I did initially reschedule due to personal reasons, the elevator in my building is down, which makes moving from the 8th floor an issue. They want to charge me a $200 change fee for a move that I rescheduled in their portal two weeks ago. Terrible service.
