This place seemed like any other at first. I walk in to inquire about available storage units and prices. After discussing options I finally decided on renting one of their storage units, a 10x10 that I thought was a bit larger then I needed but it gave me the option of storing everything that I had to store as opposed to only storing the few larger funiture pieces. On our way to the unit however things took a turn for the worse. As we walked across a small bridge we heard a deep rumble before feeling the ground shake. Then at the end of the bridge in front of us rose a great dark serpent from earth, and with it a swirling dark mist that consumed all light around it making the sunny day seem like a dreadful twilight. Shanta Thaxton the seemingly normal woman who was showing me to my unit was clad in radiant armor and held a great halbred that, from a single glance I could tell was forged in the heavens. "Back across the bridge!" she yelled. I headed her words and ran. I sudenly noticed that the dark mist was surounding me and from it demons spawned. Vicious creatures with gleaming red eyes who's form shifted as if they were made of the very mist that spawned them. Fear consuming me I picked up a rock and threw it at the nearest ones head only see it pass right through. These beasts could not be slain by mortal means I realized and thought the end was here. But in a flash of blinding light Shanta Thaxton jumped in front of me right as the demons were feet away and with one mighty swing of her divine halbred she slew the shadows that stood before me and cleared the fog in front of us. Now all that was left was the demon serpent behind us. I stepped back and watched as the servants of heaven and hell battled to the death. It was a fierce battle going back and forth, as the seprnt breathed fire upon her she would shield herself with holy light, as she struck out at the beast with her halbred the formless mist blocked each blow. Seeing no way out of the stalemate she utters a prayer to the heavens. "Oh holy light, grant me your blessings to slay this one last foe, even at the cost of my life so I can slay this evil and save this coustomer." Then from the sky a radiant beam of energy fell upon her the mist retreated back into the hole closely folowed my the serpent...but not fast enough. With a thrust the divine weapon into its skull right before it retreated to the abyss below. A great and terrible howl echoed across the land and I was knocked back as a shockwave eminated from the beast as it's body burned in holy light. Shanta Thaxton then turned to me and helped me off the ground, the weapon and armor turned to pure light and returned to the heavens. She said this to me. "With my sacrifice my life is drawing to a close and before my body is sent to the heavens I wanted you to know your 10x10 is climate controlled." "Sweet." I said. After that she disappeared. Brushing myself off I set off to finish packing and bringing my Shit to storage in my climate controlled 10x10. It was ok. read more
